I have started coming to Inspire Dental now for about 2 years. I find the staff here very respectful, caring & very concerned about their patients' care. Today, I came in for an adjustment to my mouth guard. My dental assistant, Kim, did an awesome job of adjusting it. She was very patient, making sure that everything was right. She even offered to remove some spray stains used for adjusting the mouth guard, originally. She also gave me a new brush that I can use to clean the mouth guard in the future. read more

While I greatly appreciate the thorough examination and high level of care provided by the dentist and hygienist Alex (who was professional and excellent, answering all my questions regarding my gum and periodontal treatment plan), I cannot recommend this practice due to severe issues with business ethics, aggressive financial demands, and transparency. My appointment took place at their old Babcock Rd location before they moved to San Pedro RD. When I scheduled, I was specifically informed I would be seen by Dr. Wong. Upon arriving, Dr. Wong introduced himself, briefly reviewed my X-rays, and then immediately asked me if another dentist could take over before abruptly leaving. The other dentist introduced himself and proceeded with the examination and assessment. The lack of transparency or respect for my choice of provider was unacceptable. The office also conducted two sets of X-rays, a Panoramic and a comprehensive one which seemed like overkill when a simple bite-wing may have been more appropriate for basic diagnostics. In context, this action raised my suspicion about prioritizing billable services. Especially since neither X-rays were covered by my insurance. I was also not given clear information about the practice being Out-Of-Network (OON) when I asked about insurance coverage. The aggressive financial approach was evident immediately. Before consenting the cleaning service, and while I was still sitting in the examination chair, Larissa in billing approached me. She asked if I wanted to pay for the cleaning then or afterward, even offering to bring the payment system right to the dental chair. After my initial visit, on a phone call, Larissa in billing informed me that the office requires full payment up front for necessary dental work (fillings) before they would even schedule the appointment. This is the first dental office I have encountered that demands payment upfront simply to book a future appointment for dental work. read more

Had my first appointment for son Dominic who is autistic and man did they go above and beyond for him ! Dr.Jones is amazing and provides great feedback and definitely has experience with special needs kiddos. The hygienist Danielle really made my son and I feel comfortable and was patient and worked well with Dom! A horrible experience. DO NOT GO TO THIS PRACTICE! My wife went in for a simple crown reattachment after it popped loose at Christmas time. On December 31, they "found" a variety of new services she was told she needed and hit us with a $3,200 bill for a new crown and other services we suspect she didn't need. They kept her in their offices for 4-1/2 hours. We later found out that they had "sold" the $3,200 bill to a California company, which is now trying to collect using a credit card that no longer exists. Neither my wife nor I was ever notified of that transaction until we received a $262.90 charge on our credit card from this other company. At first, we thought it was a Dental Insurance charge, but later found out they had sold the entire bill to a finance company. They also refused to accept my wife's Dental Insurance, which was in effect at the time, even though they bought the practice of our previous dentist, Dr. Philip Miner, who retired and sold us personal dental insurance with his practice, which will expire January 24, two days after my wife is scheduled to have her new crown attached. I went in a few days later, January 5, 2026, to have my teeth cleaned. I told Alexis, who set up the appointment, that I would only come in if they cleaned my teeth. I was assured they would take some X-rays, then clean my teeth. I arrived 15 minutes early to meet with the "business manager," Marrisa, and asked her specifically about this charge. That's when I found out they had sold the bill/receivable to the California company. I told them clearly to cancel that transaction, and once my wife had received her crown, we would pay the bill with a check. I also made it clear to her that we expected some of the charges to be taken off by the Miner Insurance policy that was active at that time. After 2-1/2 hours of waiting and numerous "tests," they had not cleaned my teeth. It was apparent they were trying to set me up for some of their expensive procedures, even though I have no dental problems. I walked out of their offices with no teeth cleaning. Their business manager ran out to the parking lot and asked me what was up. I told her I had made it clear that I just wanted my teeth cleaned, but they ignored it. They are obviously way off the grid, approaching a "mechanics shop," as my doctor called it, and their ethics and business practices are predatory and very suspect. read more

I had to give 3 stars. We love Dr. Jones. The staff and Dr Jones have ALWAYS been nice. He works so well with my autistic daughter. However, today was a nightmare and brought home the fact that it's all about the money, nothing more. We saw a different dentist today, and I was not impressed. Last month, we were told that one daughter needed 9,000 worth of work done, and the other daughter needed 7,000 worth of work done. 16,000 is so far out of reach for us. This is with insurance. I was willing to try to find a way to work with them. Until today. They wanted me to pay, today, for a 350.00 mouth x-ray that insurance won't cover because it isn't necessary. I asked the insurance company about it. There are less fancy x-rays they can take that insurance will cover. Then, after getting upset, I sat in the waiting room crying. I really don't know how I'll pay for this unless I die and my family receives my insurance payout. As I'm sitting there, my husband comes in and tells me about their little huddle in the hallway. They're clapping and cheering for an Instagram video. "YAY! I'M GOING TO GET THAT MONEY, YAY!" How utterly inappropriate. How unprofessional. How uncaring and unfeeling. SHAME ON THEM! My daughter cried all the way home. I cried all the way home. My husband was angry. It's all about the money, folks. The care seems so fake now. They don't have my girls' best interest at heart. They just want the money. I wish I hadn't learned about the money chant. You couldn't help but hear it. *Take the crosses off the wall and read your Bible. You know, New Testament, Jesus. I don't think this place is a good place anymore. How many ways to get all the money. Disgusting. I'm so disappointed. read more
