They moved the antenna and didn't install in correctly. Lately been loosing airwaves, not picking up, etc. Called Install-A-Jack back and he fixed it better than even before. Install-A-Jack provided exactly what I was looking for when adding Ethernet lines throughout my house. I have a modem/router combo that is fairly central to my floorplan but the 3 outer bedrooms don't get good 5GHz reception due to the hallway turns. We use two of those rooms as office / gaming computer rooms and need a stable hardline connection. The team came out and added single-gang outlets with clean cuts, level to existing outlets, and the connection speed is identical between jacking in directly at the modem or through any of the 3 outlets that were added. Install a jack did a fantastic job re-wiring the coax into my house from the box of the back of my garage. I knew this had to be done thanks to Comcast's assessment that "your wires are old and probably why you have poor service". Brian was very responsive on my questions over the phone, extremely accommodating on my not wanting the cable run outside were it was possible, and I'm honestly impressed at what they accomplished snaking the cable through extremely tight spaces. It was a crew of two people, I hate I didn't get the name of the lady who was also working hard on this re-wire but both of them were extremely professional, dedicated and considerate. The job took several hours, Brian crawled through a space I didn't think he could even fit, and our new coax line IMMEDIATELY resolved our significant internet issues. While the project wasn't cheap, it's value is readily apparent and I'm glad I did it. I would 100% use this company again for future cabling needs (Ethernet, hdmi, etc. ) ! read more

I can't say enough about how professional and thorough this company is. We had them install an Ethernet cable previously via a conduit under our driveway. They spent several hours working to get the cable snaked through and were successful. Even thought it took them longer than expected, the charge for the service was the same. Recently, our dog chewed through part of the cable they had installed. They were prompt in coming to the house, reinstalled the cable, and then went the extra mile and protected the area with galvanized mesh. I'm not exaggerating when I say that my interaction with Bryan and Crystal of Install-A-Jack Communications was one of the best customer experiences I've had with a contractor! I had a very tricky over-the-air antenna installation that required lots of troubleshooting and iterations (not due to their fault!) and they came out 3 times (no extra charge) to make sure my issue was taken care of and said they would come out as often as it takes. This company was recommended to me by the Xfinity representative that came to install my cable and wifi. My house didn't have cable jacks installed in all the bedrooms and Xfinity didn't do the installation of cable jacks. I contacted the company through the Yelp app and received a response quickly. We were able to schedule an appointment the next day. The representative for the company contacted me 25 minutes before coming to the house and immediately started looking at the work that needed to be done . He explained in detail all costs and the reason why certain cable jacks needed to go on certain walls. I was able to get all the cable jacks installed exactly where I wanted them but one. The representatives were kind and cleaned up after themselves. Once they were finished we walked through all the rooms to make sure the job was done to my satisfaction.
