I have called 6 times now in the past month. I am always leaving a message with customer service and no one gets back to me. I am thinking about buying a new car, but how can I if I can't add it to my policy because I can't reach anyone but customer service who can't make any changes? My old broker was awesome, they sold to Inzone and I am highly disappointed. The hours are awful M-F 8-5. . It turns out I did get call back from them but it showed as Spam Risk...so I saved that number so I would not miss the call again, but I am at work M-F during those hours and beyond, so I spend my lunch calling them and then if they call back while I am working I can't answer my phone-especially for Spam Risk calls! I've also updated my number from my spouse and they keep calling the wrong number and my spouse won't answer Spam Risk ever. How hard is it to save the contact information? I have to shop around. I have 5 cars I need to insure, and will be buying another very soon. This has wasted much of my time, and I work 65 hours a week. I don't have time to waste. read more

Have been with Corbett and had Mercury Insurance for years and years on car and home. Once Inszone bought out Corbett, the rates for home and car tripled. Can you imagine receiving a renewal bill on your home insurance with an annual increase of $848.57? F__king ridiculous! Called two different numbers at the Newbury Park office, left messages, no one responded. Sent an email requesting cancellation of my policy, no one responded. Called again today, spoke with Ashley Lozano, she said she would email documents for signature, haven't received ANYTHING. This company is unresponsive and only cares about making profits. I've switched carriers and am paying $2500.00 less per year for home insurance than I was before. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH INSZONE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. FYI they also have multiple Yelp accounts to try and avoid bad reviews accumulating on one profile. I was with this company for almost 10yrs and they, particularly Tricia C., royally screwed me over the past 6 months, almost costing me my California home insurance policy. In a time when insurance companies are trying to cancel home insurance policies left and right, you want a agent on your side who knows the ins and outs of binding the correct policies and helping you work through any issues while mitigating the cost of your premium. Tricia's (and Inzone's) ineptitude when it comes to knowing what policies they are able to bind for a person is staggering. She tried binding a new insurance policy for me that was canceled not 2 months into a 12 month term, because she wrote it incorrectly. This then caused Mercury to audit my home insurance policy. Tricia was not only unhelpful when explaining the process to me, but she was also incredibly unresponsive. I followed up with her multiple times over the course of a few months with NO response. This caused a notice of cancelation which I was only able to overturn by working directly with my insurance company and cutting Tricia out entirely. When the underwriter would come back with questions Tricia NEVER relayed those to me. I had to deal with it all directly and with no guidance. Every time I called Tricia's line or even the company general line no one answered. I couldn't leave a message because their voicemail wasn't set up. I even emailed the general help line to try and speak with a supervisor or literally anyone else at the company to get guidance about my situation and never heard back. The 1 time in 6 months that I was able to get Tricia on the phone not only was she unhelpful in finding a resolution to my situation but she was incredibly condescending and rude. It was clear they wanted me to lose my policy so I'd have to bind a new one at a higher premium with shittier coverage and they could take the commission. If there's anything that goes wrong or is not normal about your insurance, you can bet these people will have no clue how to help you. read more

I had a lovely insurance carrier who unfortunately sold to Inszone. I was told this would provide better service and more resources. This isn't true in my experience. I currently have two policies with them now, but I'm now shopping well in advance to cover myself in the future. One of my reps can't be bothered answering or providing any type of service until its renewal time and he wants his commission. Then he's all over me like fleas on a barn dog. It's so annoying sending emails into the ethers with no response and leaving messages that don't get returned. Also making corrections with provided back-up, only to see the same mistake in the renewal sent. The policy offered by said person is outrageous and not sustainable as a small business. I got a much better deal before I was handed off to this company with false promises. Then if this wasn't bad enough, they want to ream you at every end of the process - even charging you additional for an ACH payment. Disgusting and pathetic. I'm giving 3 stars as my other rep gets the job done, offers reasonable policy costs - obviously doing his job - and offers payment options that don't require an extra fee. No one wants extra fees. It's always best to shop around and not accept poor business behavior. For their greedy junk fee, they will now be losing thousands of dollars. Bad business. Shop around. Don't accept poor business from any company. read more

InsZone is a post-merge/sale of Corbett Insurance Services which has been around forever but the staff is the same with improved capacities to offer additional carriers. As a business and commercial real estate broker, this is important to me and my clients whom I refer all the time. I've used Kelly Pink for the last 12 years for my businesses, properties, and personal insurance needs. When a certain insurance carrier decided to exit the market because of the fires we experienced in the region, I was in dire need of coverage for a property. Kelly worked her tail off to find me something that would work. Not only did she find a better carrier, she rolled other policies with that one to help me save another 12% compared to the prior year. She and her staff are always responsive, especially during renewal time which is often busy because I have so many policies and need to make sure I have what I need in an earthquake state. With their company, my insurance rates almost tripled. Guess someone's trying to make some commissions! I could never reach an agent AND I didn't sign anything to sign up with them but to cancel, they make it very hard and complicated. I would never do business with them again or Safeco. What these Agents don't tell you is they only do business with 1 maybe 2 insurance companies so they don't truly give you the best prices...they push the company that they are working with. I do not recommend Inszone, a company (in San Diego County) that our policy was switched to, following the retirement of our broker. I could not get a straight answer out of this company about our policy, up for renewal. In addition, there was unprofessional, caustic conduct by a "team leader" which was definitely unwarranted. Very disappointing in lack of customer service. I first submitted the online request form and never heard back. I then called and connected with a representative who took down all of my information. I also sent her all my documents as well. A few weeks later I received a call from some else in the office informing me they were working on it. But now it's well over a month later and I never heard back. I wouldn't recommend it based on my experience.
