Worst service I've ever had with a Telecom company. I would NEVER recommend this service provider to anyone. I will say that the Account Managers have been somewhat helpful and the tech guys that actually come out to your office are very helpful (thus the 2 stars instead of 1) but the people that answer the phones and deal with customer service issues are terrible - they have bad communication internally and are not good with follow-through. Furthermore, the actual service is shoddy. Slow internet speeds and many problems on the phone side. I will be canceling my contract as soon as I can. read more

If I could give negative 10 zeros I would. I have been a customer for almost 8 years and they charged me $2100 for an early termination fee, billed me 30 days past that termination. Our lines have gone down twice recently... yes it was inconvenient for us and our clients, but the down time was not very long (less than 1 hour). It could have been worse. When I called to notify them of the issues (which they already knew) I was greeted with professional and courteous customer service. The woman I worked with even took the time to call me back after 30 minutes to make sure our lines were back up. Quality customer service always gets two thumbs up in my book. Worst Service at the Highest Cost We signed up with them because there was no other service available in our area. They are four times as expensive as any equivalent service from even Century Link or Comcast. I advise to never sign up with Integra. STAY AWAY FROM INTEGRA! My company uses them and we moved one of our offices January and paid a $500 dollar expidite fee to get our phones and internet moved TO THIS DAY WR HAVE NEITHER. SCAM ALERT!!!! These people are trying to rip you off. They show up at your door step, with promises of lower rates than Qwest, or whomever you're using. They give you a contract with your "estimated monthly charges", which is way lower than what you're paying now. What they fail to mention in their estimate is that there are loads of "surcharges" they tack on (somewhere in the fine print). My bill went from an estimated $85/month to $130. That's 50% more than what they quoted me. I am now paying more than what I payed at Qwest. Beware!!! These people run a dirty business model with loads of hidden fees. read more

AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL. I run a small Arts non-profit that had to cancel early due to moving our performance venue. They charged us a $1,000 early cancellation fee and $300 in other additional charges. This was on top of all the additional charges they added in from the original quote they gave us. When I called and explained we are a small arts non-profit without additional funds, they said there was just nothing they could do. Now I'm on a payment plan with them until April to get the bill paid off. Go somewhere else. read more

My company is constantly losing service, because we are in such an old system. It has been down all day and it is costing us 10's of thousands of dollars, and no one still has an answer with what is wrong or time to repair status. I worked at a company that switched to them. All in all they were a good provider. We saved a fair bit of money on phone service and never really had a problem. The exception, and the reason for the three stars, was internet. Their DSL was incredibly slow, barely above dial-up and way to expensive for such a slow speed. We wound up going with Qwest for DSL and it was 10 times faster and 10 bucks less a month. They are a fine phone provider, but I would look elsewhere for internet. read more

Integra got a business to sign a 3 year contract and then the bandwidth became so limited it was like a trickle, grinding business to a halt. When Integra finally sent someone out to review the problem, we were told that the business was too far from Integra to get good bandwidth. So an inferior product was sold that they would not upgrade or fix but we were told the 3 year contract was binding and a penalty would be charted for early termination. Terrible customer service for many years of loyal patronage. They were just bought by Allstream which I believe is a Canadian company and their customer service so far is still the same horrible service with no real idea how to treat their customers. Long hold times, then negative operators that seem on the brink of telling you to "F" off the whole time. No appreciation of the people supporting them. Our company switched to Integra with the promise of "Same service at much lower rates. From the first week we were using Integra, we started having dropped calls lots of them. We called and they resonded right away and said they had fixed the problem. The dropped calls have continued and always when we call, they say they will fix it this time. This has gone on for about a year now. We are switching back to our old provider and are now hearing that we have a contract till 2013. We are working with management to resolve this but we have NEVER had reliable phone service with Integra so Buyer Beware!!! You get what you pay for. read more

I work for a non-profit in the IT department, and Integra has the worst customer service I've experienced for any business, not just in the technology sector, but anywhere. Since June, we've been trying to get them to provide service to our office. Time and time again, they've come up with excuses as to why they can't get out to our location that week. The previous tenant had a fiber connection, and all the equipment is still there, but for some reason, Integra has decided they need to pull half a mile of new fiber to our location before they can do anything. We've asked for a temporary T1 to enable us to install our VOIP phones, but they can't even provide us an install date for that. Thus, our employees are at the mercy of a public wireless connection until until this tragedy of a company figures out what being a telecom provider entails. I recommend never doing business with this company, even if it means going with a higher-priced provider. We're looking at starting over with another provider, even if it means a few additional weeks. I can't imagine Integra will be any faster than that anyways. read more

I tranferred to "Integra" after seeing that they were competively priced with Vonage. Also - we were having static on the line, so we needed to make a change). I cannot tell you how HORRIBLE this company is - I mean COMPLETE incompetance. I told them they could come in to do the initial setup on any day except a Monday. They of course said "no problem". I get a call at 8am on a Monday (my only day off) and said they are "waiting for me". I ran to meet them but was not really happy. After that they said everything is "ready to go". The initial sales rep made some unbelievably inappropriate comments to me and my wife. This was the first flag. He told me I would recieve "a free installation and the first 2 months free". They charged me for the installation, and I never got ANY free months. I called them out on it - and after 4 phone calls they (John) said they would "send me vouchers" that I could SEND BACK TO THEM and then they would deduct it from my bill. I got the vouchers after I contacted John mutiple times (my initial sales rep) and then he replies with excuse after excuse. I still never got ANY free months. THEN the technical nightmares begin. Even though they told me that "I was all set" - I had to call and set up EACH feature as it was not initially done, even though it was in the order. Voicemail - nope. Call waiting... nope. After that get straightened out - we finally got our phone working... I thought YAY!!! it worked for a week. After that - we had calls go straight to voicemail people asking me why our 'phone wasn't working" or why other times the voicemail was not working at all. On our initial bill we had added charges, over charges, delayed responses to our inquiries, no responses to voicemail or emails, tech support and customer service passing the buck to others. I have since heard other horror stories from other customers (the person who initially told me about them - regrets ever telling me about them and he wants to leave). Unfortunately, he is trapped there for a year per the contract. I cannot stress how awful this company is (without swearing, using all caps, etc). If you do end up going with them - READ THE FINE PRINT. They have unbelievable clauses in their agreement and will not let you leave without paying $1000+ PER LINE in charges. (They told me initially that I could leave, but would owe them $3400 to "break" the contract - even though they hadn't held up their end of the deal with reliable service) I am trying to transfer out - but they aren't even returning my calls. I don't understand the reviews. I signed up and Integra was not compatible with my internet service which they did not know up front. They also could not provide the 1.5 speed I needed. I was promised to save $20 at least per month but all their taxes added up more than Qwest and I ended up spending more. I cancelled within 30 days but I needed manager approval I was told. I signed a contract 3 weeks prior to them even being able to switch over. With little time left they sent a letter stating I was too late to cancel and there was no such policy with them anyway. I'm fighting an $800 early cancellation fee for two phones after communicating and cancelling as soon as I knew what went on. They chose to argue with me and push the fees. The sales rep completely lied. I will fight this bill with its unheard of cancellation fees they should not get away with. read more

We had a terrible experience at my nonprofit. Poor service, poor connections, and lack of integrity. When we cancelled and moved to Comcast (which provides faster service at a lower cost), Integra failed to honor an agreement and insisted we pay a $4,500 termination fee (which they had waived). This is a rating for Integra DSL service only. A friend has a business in Burien that uses Integra DSL. I ran a speedtest on it and the result is download: 0.22 Mbps, upload 0.21Mbps. What kind of DSL service is this? I'm going to help my friend switch to a different ISP. read more

I have been very disapointed with our experience with Integra. We are a small business (3 of us in 1,000 sq. feet) and don't have a big budget. We had been with Qwest for years, however decided to support the little man and make the move to Integra. Their sales person stopped by our shop monthly for at least 6 months before we made the move, and was very good at promising us the moon etc.... Once with Integra their customer service declined. Our salesperson, who was supposed to come back to walk us through a few details never showed up again :( When we called in for help, Rose, let us know in a very unfriendly manner that we could take care of these things ourselves online. This was fine, but not as that persistent salesperson had promised it would be. Their service is reliable however somewhat scratchy and broken at times. After a year with Integra our business moved to a better location. I called to let them know of our move about 20 days before the move, and was informed that I needed to provide them 30 days to transfer our service and unless we chose to expedite the order for $500, we would probabely not be opening in our location with phone or internet service :( I thought 30 days was a bit much, but we went forward as planned. Integra did have working phone service working in our new space a few days after we opened and we were grateful for that. Unfortunatelly our internet was another issue. We are very internet savvy and have been in our new space for 25 days now WITHOUT internet :( We have none of our schedules, client information etc...and have went back to the old pencil and paper for now. This has been a huge inconvenience, but we never imagined we would have to deal with such a situation. After the install we called Integra whom was anything but helpful. They let us know that we needed to deal with our I.T. person (not that we have one) and that our internet not working is not their responsibility. UUGH! We had no idea how to fix this problem, but tried to figure it out. Finally a week later after a few more phone calls Integra sent someone out. I will say that this gentleman was very kind and spent most of the day with us trying to figure out the problem. In the end the conclusion is that the wiring in the building we are renting is to old to support Data. I can understand that, however being such a small business we can't afford to pay the hundreds of dollars Integra will charge us to fix the situation. Our landlords are unwilling to rewire do to cable access in the building. I spoke with Rose, who was her chipper self again and she recommended I fax a request to be forgiven the remaining DSL portion of our contract, so that we may be able to afordably have working internet. I did as she requested, and after 13 days of no response (after I called again) they said they could not help us. We would have to pay for the remaining 2 years if we chose to go with cable :( I understand the need for contracts, however remember that we went to Integra a year ago to help the small business. I am surprised at how are unwilling they are to help us. I am sure that they could have done our wiring cheaper or even as a courtesy so that we may continue to pay them our $115 a month bill. Maybe they could have even been prompt and kind..... Maybe I have unrealistic expectations. I know that is isn't "Their Fault" as I have been repeatedly reminded, however in a small business you bend and accomodate your clients within your ability, because that is "Good Business"! Every time we call with problems we are greeted with a bad attitude and rude sales people. I've had service with Integra since 2010. My contract expired November 2013, so I decided that to save some money I would make some service changes. I am trying to change my service for a significant savings and was told when I called to change my service that it would be processed within a week. I submitted that request on 11.28.13. Today (12.19.13) an Integra rep called to tell me that the change won't be processed until 12.30.13 and too bad - I'll be billed the entire time until they complete the service change. This is very unprofessional. I am trying to get them to pro-rate my bill back to 11.28.13 but the rep told me that this is not something that they could do. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. This is the worst phone provider that I have ever worked with. I have never written a bad yelp review before but I cannot believe that they would continue to over charge me when they told me that they would not. Stay away, stay far far away. For the past 5 months we've been working with Integra to get our phone system moved to a secondary location. We paid quite a bit of money to expedite the process by mid January, and it's now April and we have no working phones, and because of their technician, our internet is now down as well. That part of our business has been unable to do any kind of work since the move which is completely unacceptable. Every time we call the project manager, we never get a response. Some emails and calls go over a week without a reply. And when then do reply, nothing gets resolved. It's beyond frustrating. I feel like there are too many hands in the cookie jar and a major lack of communication on projects within the company. The techs have no idea what they're doing when they come on site, because their company hasn't told them. And after a 15 minute phone conversation with them this morning, I've been told that we need our own IT person to fix their mistake because that's not in their field of support. WTF? This is something that should have been explained to us from the get go. It's your equipment, you put it in, you've been attempting to trouble shoot it and now all of the sudden, it's not under your scope of work that your company does? Completely unacceptable. I've never been so frustrated with any company before. It's like they don't even care. We cannot wait to get the problem resolved so we can walk away from them and never look back.
