Hey, Viewers! Let…read moreme first start by saying how wonderful the folks at The Tint Factory are! I mean, come on! I didn't purchase anything from them, yet, but they were still able to help me get my car alarm system back in working order. I'd say this was about two months ago when I had major issues with my car alarm, blast you Avitar!! Anyway, before calling the Tiny Factory I had tried reaching out to other companies like the Radio Doctor and did not get the same vibe as the folks at the Tiny Factory. I completely understand how my issue initially was tough to troubleshoot over the phone, but as soon as I hopped on the phone with one of their guys (I forgot his name) and whoever helped me was seriously a genuine guy. He told me to quickly come down to the shop and he would gladly help me troubleshoot the issue. Now, he totally didn't have to do that, but by doing this, they gained a loyal customer and I will be sure to get my windows tinted by these guys as soon as it's in the budget :) Now for the good stuff, when I walked into their establishment - it was clean and had lots of different products for sale. This was a nice touch as you are able to see all the possible options available for you to choose from. They are very knowledgeable and willing to go the distance to help you find exactly what you need. Overall, these guys are great! If their awesome customer service skills are as amazing as their work then this is definitely a place I would always recommend as well as visit for my own personal expenses. Good job Tint Factory! Keep being awesome!!!! Cheers,

I left a small critique on Google maps for this purchase and the owner or employee contacted me by text messages basically telling me they didn't like my review (I really wish I could post the screenshots). Anyways, It wasn't til I got home when I saw their response on Google Maps that really didn't sit right with me. What they posted and sent me in text messages were things they didn't tell me when they asked me to keep my car overnight I had just found out with the internet because of the review all the reasons why they asked to keep it. I didn't know there was already an alarm on the vehicle working or not (I just bought the vehicle 2 days prior), I didn't know that it took 2 hrs extra because of this, I didn't know that the owner had to come in 2 hrs early the next day to finish my vehicle, I didn't know that your policy is usually only take drop offs before 8am because you never said this to me, you broke your own policy and blaming me for it. None of this was explained to me til a day AFTER I paid them, drove away and left a review. He stated it as if they did me a favor, a favor I didn't even know I was getting, how could I be grateful for you saving me $200 and you never told me what or why? When they asked to keep my car, I asked why and they responded "car stuff" and issues with the car before me. So now I am in a situation that if I ever have an issue with my alarm (which I don't think I will) I will never go back. The receipt they gave me says ALARM WITH REMOTE START ON FACTORY-INSTALLATION OF COMPONETS- YOU SAVED $200 then shows the 582.00 after tax on a sheet of paper and then a smaller receipt stapled to it for 596.00 no mention of brand or model just blank. I just don't get it, it was a professional exchange and the work was done, the employee was cool and I was satisfied when I shook his hand and drove away, not once was their attitude with me or him so all that was well. It was the review I left on Google Maps that got us here. Once again I will say it "It was an inconvenient purchase for me."

I would give zero stars if I could…read more I had my vehicles windows tinted for the first time at Stereo1One on June 27. Almost immediately, the tint developed small bubbles from dust/dirt under the tint, so I brought my vehicle back on July 6 to have it redone under their lifetime warranty. Unfortunately, the second tint job also had bubbles and scratches in the tint film, showing the same lack of quality workmanship. On July 13, I returned to request a refund and have the tint removed, but I was told there was no manager on duty and no one could help me. I had to come back again on July 20, only to be told they would not issue a full refund. Instead, they offered me a $200 refund if I agreed to keep the defective tint. After paying around $530 for the upgraded carbon tint, I wasn't about to accept paying hundreds of dollars for a tint job that had already failed twice. With no reasonable resolution offered, I agreed to let them tint the windows a third time under the lifetime warranty. When I returned to pick up my vehicle, they simply handed me my keys and immediately locked the doors for the day. I didn't even have the opportunity to inspect the work before they closed. Once I was able to inspect it, I found additional scratches in the tint film, meaning the third attempt still wasn't done correctly. It even looks like lighter or different colored tint, which makes me believe they put the downgraded standard tint on. Since June 27, I've had to make four separate trips to this shop because they have repeatedly failed to provide a quality installation. A lifetime warranty means very little when the same defects keep happening and the solution is simply to keep redoing the same poor work. What disappoints me most isn't just the poor workmanship--it's how the situation was handled. After multiple failed installations, I expected the company to stand behind its work with a reasonable resolution. Instead, I was offered only a partial refund if I accepted a defective product, and after the third installation I wasn't even given the chance to inspect the work before the shop closed. I expected professional workmanship and customer service, especially after spending hundreds of dollars. Instead, I was left with repeated bubbling & scratches in the tint film, multiple wasted trips, a denied refund request, and a third tint job that still wasn't right. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Stereo1One.

He remembered me from 1991 when he installed a stereo in my 1981 Toyota Celica. When we were discussing the security system for my BMW, we talked about the system he installed in my Celica. He detailed the components like he installed them last week. A short time ago, my security system wasn't working right so I contacted Paul. He asked me to bring in my car and he would take a look at it. When I got there, one of his technicians, Jason Salas, noticed that the wire to the antenna at the top of the windshield was not hooked up to anything. I told him that I recently had my windshield replaced and that the two sided tape holding the thing up there came loose. Not knowing what that thing was, I disconnected it and put it in my car somewhere . Paul asked me where it was. I told him it fell off the windshield because it was not attached right and that it was in the car somewhere. After we found it, Jason put it back in place with some good two-sided tape and the alarm worked right again. I told Paul I was amazed at how quickly Jason diagnosed the problem. He told me "Jason was Installer of the Year in the entire country as recognized by the Mobile Electronics Retailers Association back in '06/'07." Paul and Jason are the kind of people who work at AMS and that's the kind of service I've been getting there since 1991. I highly recommend AMS for their selection of quality car stereo equipment, automobile security systems and especially for the people who install everything they sell."

First impulse was to return and make a case to get this JVC (second choice, following the planned Pioneer I wanted. On arrival I was informed the Pioneer was sold to another customer getting stereo next week.) removed and self-sourcing the original Pioneer AVH-W4500NEX (this is the one i found in my search, not certain it's exactly the same unit.) The frustration was in part probably my doing. I found myself suddenly out of time and was worried about being late. Which I was in the end. When I called to say I was displeased, in short it was decided I'd best return the following morning to sort it out. During the course of the night I researched and found the possible stereo I wanted and it was in stock. But when I went to BB, it was NOT. Not surprised there. But talking to the young man there go me to thinking that I might be ok with the JVC. The GUI displayed that it was Apple play compatible and that Bluetooth was acceptable (duh, yet strangely didn't work!) The idea of Bluetooth is presumed to mean WIRELESS RIGHT?! Yet it's not actually the case. My wife's Subaru ('21) has a stock system and it 'sees' my phone, and it needs a USB to use my IPod Classic. My vehicle is a Honda Odyssey (touring/nav trim), 2008. Being among the first phone integratabtle models, but sadly too dated for smart phones after probably an iPhone 5. Compounded with all pre 2014 Hondas with NAV, Jan 1 2022, they all suddenly did a global Y2K thing. Killing many functions, notably the clock was forever stuck on Jan 2002 and 9something. Turns out, Jason only told me "you can plug a USB cable through the glove box" Which at a glance meant I would have to run a USB thru the glovebox and into the rear of the head unit. I just paid a fee to not have to DIY my stereo install. So I was naturally really pissed off! At the glance, as viewed from the drivers side, when I looked, no USB was there, so I remained confused and mad. Today, I was in the car, and sitting in the passenger seat, thinking I might just go ahead and see about the USB issue, and wonder of wonders! Behold! Tucked neatly inside, and clearly out of view from the far left, is a female USB connector! Upon paging my iPhone 12 in NOW the screen shows the icons I want! The GUI for this is still an irritation, but like any operating system, there's a learning curve that needs attention and time. As for RADIO DOCTOR, I'm a satisfied patient and will be back for routine checkups! Eric and the other guys are great and sometime in the next week or two I'll probably be tasking them with the backup camera work for my ride.
