Dr. Ryan made multiple mistakes and did not complete the forms. As HR did not accept them, the doctor gave me an incredibly hard time as he did not want to be bothered by the forms. I was looking for a local Acupuncturist to treat a debilitating case of tendinitis. I suffered with…read morethis ailment for 3 months with zero long-term relief using braces, ointments, heating/cold therapies and pain relievers. These remedies only lasted a couple of hours and anyone that has experienced tendinitis knows how difficult basic tasks can be and very painful. I was very lucky to come across Huang Wellness Center. I was very impressed with the level of care and assessment of my injury and plan of action to relieve the pain. I found immediate relief after my first session and each subsequent session the tendinitis subsided to the point I really didn't notice any issues with pain, range of motion and strength in my arm. What I was not expecting was adding chiropractic care in addition to the acupuncture. I was thrilled that I could have both treatments done at each visit. I was having hip pain and after an adjustment the pain in my hip was eliminated. It was all I could think about. I yelped chiropractors near South Riding and called around. The first two did not even see new patients on Friday afternoons. Dr. Schleifer was the third office I called and had a 3pm opening on Friday (it was 12pm on Friday when I called). A new and nice office building with ample parking awaited me. He was at his desk when I arrived and was very pleasant. After about a 15 minute assessment he applied some muscle stimulation and heat therapy. That was followed by an adjustment along with instructions to ice my shoulder and neck that evening. The therapy worked more than I could have imagined. I was able to play in a softball game and have no ill effects of my neck injury the next day (saturday) and have only slight discomfort today (sunday). I'll go to a follow up session with him this week to make sure I've maintained my healing process.
