When we first walked…read morein, we were met with smiling front office staff at the front desk, all very professional as well. Within a few minutes we were taken back and met with Dr. Clements and his nurse. Also, both very professional and very respectful. He asked my wife about the debilitating pain she had been experiencing and offered a couple of options, one being a Cortisone injection into the lumbar spine where he believed the nerve root being pinched/irritated was. My wife had been in such debilitating pain, she couldn't eat, couldn't get a decent night's rest and wasn't her usual cheerful self. Within a short time she came out to the waiting room with that gorgeous smile I had been longing to see again for some time now. She tells me she could feel where the shot was placed, but the horrible, agonizing pain was gone. We went to lunch and she started crying and said she is so grateful for the excellent, compationate treatment she received from everyone who was involved in her care today. We've been to plenty of medical offices in the past, but none could begin to compare to Dr. Clements and his staff. I never said this before, but to Dr. Clements and his staff, take a bow. When there was a doctor change about 6 months ago she basically forced me to go to a pain management clinic that uses the building once a month. Todd Stirling promptly reduced my dosage by 12 pills a month because the PA's at Canyonlands were giving me a 30 day supply and allowing me to refill every 28 days. Even though there was a direct correlation to the amount of pain I was feeling and my blood pressure, It seemed to me that Todd Stirling was going to prescribe practically anything other than increasing the opioid dose. I was struggling with nerve pain when I was referred to him, and my life has been much worse since. I like the guy well enough, but it seems he's not willing to put himself in my shoes. I hope what he does works better for you, because he's the only game in Beaver Dam.
