My first appointment was absolutely stellar with my nurse practitioner. I've booked two procedure appointments. They were both canceled the day before my procedure. Very inconvenient and very unprofessional. I have to stop certain medication before the procedure a week in advance so I'm an absolute miserable pain and then find out that I cannot get the injections to help ease the pain for another week to two weeks. I have another appointment next Tuesday, June 9 at their facility in Chandler, which is an hour drive away from my residence. Stay tuned I'll let you know how that goes. read more

This place closed over a weekend in Feb with zero notice and has been unavailable to communicate ever sense. I continue to get a bill that they billed the wrong insurance company in January for a bill in December since I changed insurance carriers 1/1. I had met OOP max for 2025 and owe them zero for December not the $650 they are trying to bill me. I have left multiple messages as you cant speak to someone and can only leave a message with the statement of good luck you probably wont get called back. I have gotten one call back in a month today which was an automated message saying they were not open anymore. So not even in response to my messages telling them to call me or fix the billing issue. My patient portal access says I am not associated with any patient records suddenly and no other phone number minus the main pre recorded number letting you know you will likely not get a call back ia your inly recourse. I got a text asking me to pay my bill...Tried to pay the bill I owe for January and their payment portal, which somehow does have my records associated with it....won't take any card payment. Debit, credit, HSA card none are working. I simply want someone to call me back, to bill my insurance correctly and be done. Just pick up the phone, dial the number, and prepare to age in real time. After 47 minutes on hold serenaded by the soothing sounds of static and what I assume is a broken fax machine crying for help, a miracle happens--you *almost* speak to a human. But alas, the call drops. Was it divine intervention? A test of patience? No, just their prehistoric telecom system gasping for life. But wait, it gets better. Leave a voicemail? Cute. It will be returned somewhere between the heat death of the universe and never. I've heard from Amelia Earhart more recently than I've heard from their front desk. Now, to be fair, the term "Pain Specialists" *is* accurate--just not in the way you'd hope. They specialize in causing it, emotionally and existentially. The actual treatment? I wouldn't know. Everyone who works there is rude and incompetent from the medical assistant to the call center employees, to the office manager and worst of all the know it all nurse practioner. They lie to you and push their pain injections on you because that is where they make their money. You actually have to be put to sleep to have the procedure. This last technician Violeta Meikum would not return my phone calls even when I said it was an emergency. When I came in for my appointment and asked her why she didn't return my calls she threw me out of the practice with out renewing my medication. She is mean and non responsive. She's not professional and unwilling to talk and understand the client needs. Stay away from this practice and be very careful around that woman. After searching for a new pain doctor after mine retired, I was lucky enough to come across integrated pain. Their treatment has been excellent. Just the right amount of medication, including a patch that I had been unaware of and has been good. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and includes counseling where needed. A company's services have to be really horrible for me to leave a review, but I have had three different interactions at Integrated Pain, all of them very very bad. The first was a doctor who I understand has left the practice (fired or retired not sure), but her manner was short, demeaning and downright hostile and cut off our visit after 15 minutes stating that was all the time she had for me, she actually said "I don't make enough money to spend any more time with patients". I decided to call and cancel the follow up appointments that had been previously scheduled, I left a message to this affect with them, however when the bill arrived it had a $50 "no show" fee. I have now tried on three different calls to reach billing to correct this, it goes to voicemail with no return phone calls our e-mails. The last straw was today, I decided to see a different doctor at the practice (at the urging of my PCP) and arrived at 3:30 for my 3:30 appointment. I was told because I did not arrive a full half hour early to complete paperwork that the doctor would not see me and I would be required to re-scheduled. I was never advised to come early since I was a returning patient they already had my information which was still current. Stating that to them did not change anything. My gut had been telling me all along this was not a good match for me, I should have listened. If I could give this place a -10 if would not be bad enough. Stay away!!! read more

I have been going here for more than 3 years, and I had a great experience initially. But my recent experiences have matched some of the more recent reviews. The customer service has going way downhill, and the IT systems/patient portal are terrible. They also never get in touch with you when there is supposed to be a follow-up call. The In-office experience is not much better. Dr. Seth is great, but I never get to see him. Their NPs and PAs are turned over constantly, where I have seen probably 8 different people the last year and a half because so many leave. The current group is very difficult to work with. I go for significant back and shoulder issues and they never ask how my condition is nor do a physical exam. Sometimes they don't even address them both, if say something about my shoulder, they ignore the back all together like they want you out as quick as possible. It seems their main goal is to "sell" you a procedure even if they can't answer the simple question of how it will help my specific issues. I was in the Mesa location recently and told the NP about new numbness in my legs in recent months and first response was to order me two procedures. Hadn't had an MRI in 3 years so I suggested a new one to see if there are new issues. Nope, ordered the procedures and when I asked specifics of how it would help they couldn't even explain what it would do. Outside of Dr. Seth, the current staff seems to lack knowledge, are unresponsive to what you have to say, and rude. When I explain my pain is only getting worse since seeing all these new staff and quality of life is worse, they just act like they didn't hear me and do the same things they were. I don't want to be sold extremely expensive procedures that I don't even know if they will work. I want my pain to decrease and have a better quality of life. It is a shame this clinic has gotten so bad but if you want staff that will listen to you and treat you like a patient (not a customer) this is probably not the place for you. read more

I was in a horrific car accident and needed a pain mngt team. Sadly, the office staff at the Scottsdale location were ABSOLUTELY the most unprofessional people I have ever had the displeasure of interfacing with. Not only can you hear them being disrespectful of the patients (HIPPA violation), but they were completely rude. Be warned that if you go to this office, you WILL be treated like a second class citizen. Additionally, COVID-19 is a serious situation and and there was human hair everywhere. I was one of the first in the office so they clearly didn't clean or sanitize. When I mentioned it, the response was... "There is hair everywhere!" And continued on like this want a big deal. This office is absolutely the worst place I have ever been to. Staff is completely rude. I completed my forms online and when I got there she handed me a form to fill out, I said I already completed them on line. She proceeded to be completely rude telling me the online forms dont work and Dr Seth is in a hurry to leave. If you hurry we can try and get you in, but no guarantee even though I had an appointment and filled out docs online a week prior to my visit. Then I am told I have to use a cash App to pay the dr totally weird that I wasn't informed before my appointment. I had a follow up appointment a week later. I called 3 days in advance to cancel. Couldn't get in touch with anyone, was on hold for 25+ mins then disconnected two times. I proceeded to leave a voice mail to cancel my appointment. Well of course, no one followed up or listened to it as they charged me 50$ no show. When they called to verify my appointment they told me the wrong day. I drove an hour to my appointment only to be told it was tomorrow and I could NOT do a phone appointment even though it was their mix up. Only patients can wait inside no one else that is with you (my daughter is my caretaker) but we sit outside like cattle in 110 degrees! My pain meds were cut without discussing it with me (but doctor states it was discussed) will start recording conversation. This is not the first time my doctor has forgotten things. I have horrible pain and these two make it to where I can be an active mother to my four children. They have cancelled appointments left and right with me. The Doctor has no idea what is going on but unfortunately the people who make appointments do and they have no idea how to run a large medical office. I thought this group would be different, not just another "pain factory"...boy was I wrong. First appointment was a basic meet and greet, go get some tests done and come back for a doctor review and hopefully a plan to alleviate the pain I have. Showed up for 2nd appointment only to find out that it was actually at another location and it was with a nurse assistant. Not the appointment I had made in person at the office, and I would never have made an appointment unless I was actually going to see the doctor. Not a good start. I raised a stink on the phone and they booked me the next day for 12:30. At 9:30 the day of appointment they called and said they had to cancel and I would not be able to get a new appointment for another week...pretty lousy deal if you are going day to day and in a lot of pain. I've been going here for about 6 months and so far it's been a very pleasurable experience. The staff, nurses and doctors are very professional and friendly and they truly do care about those affected by chronic pain by various illnesses or injuries. In a time when those in chronic pain are looked at as "addicts" and "drug seekers" by the media and politicians this place is a saving grace! In 2013 I was getting ready to make a move out of Ventura, California to Scottsdale, Arizona. I was getting ready to move an entertainment center of mine which in retrospect was a terrible idea but at the time I was very healthy and in really good shape so I figured that I didn't need help plus I was the only one who was around at the time to move my belongings and I was just days before my move in date, time was of the essence! So I lifted up this very heavy and bulky oak entertainment center when I heard three loud pops and a tear and then just the worst pain I've ever felt in my life!!! I went screaming and crying down to the floor and passed out from the pain! I woke up a couple minutes later and what I thought I had just pulled a muscle I didn't know the severity of my injury at the time. I laid on the floor for a couple of hours on able to move and that's when I started to realize that this was probably something more than a pulled muscle. I hired some movers to complete the job and I had my friend drive me out to Arizona but my back wasn't getting any better I was limping around and just in constant pain all the time that made my life a living hell and I was pretty much laid up in bed the entire time. Originally I was against seeking out a MRI because I was afraid what I would find but I made an appointment to see a specialist and then after the MRI was done they came in with the bad news! I had busted out three of my discs in my lower back, had 8mm and 12mm slashes on my lumbar, sciatic nerve damage, degenerative disc disease! I mediately felt like I was going to get sick, but they said not to fear because with injections and pain medication I can live out a normal life. I was doing OK up until the state of Arizona and the federal government started to put all of these over restrictive laws on pain patients. I had gone back to work, started going back to the gym for some light cardio, losing weight that I gained during my downtime with my injury, life is pretty good. Then all of these laws dropped and I found it very difficult to navigate my way through getting treatment. A friend of mine mentioned this place and said that they do care about their patients and they are very thorough and do not judge anybody, they were so right! Living in chronic pain and having a very serious injury of any kind can be very depressing and with so many people being treated as criminals or drug seekers these days it's a very anxiety ridden future for those living in pain for whatever reason. I truly believe that this place does understand what we go through on a daily basis and that even sometimes the simplest task can be daunting! I would like to point out a person that is very friendly and professional and I have gained so much knowledge about how to continue to go forward and get the best out of life as possible! Shaun Hampton, NP is a saint! Not to mention he's funny and I look forward to going to my appointments each month because it's always a friendly experience and making the best out of a bad situation. I am a person and I should had been treated with respect and compassion as most a pain management clinic should have since your patients will be coming in with pain and discomfort. I was told to wait outside in the 114 degrees weather my 73 year old mother was my driver we were never told that we would have to wait outside and that is not ok. If you are suffering from pain and need help getting better do not go here they will cause you more distress and pain. They have no compassion for patients. I have only been seen there a handful of the times and each time quite honestly has been a disappointment. The first time the doctor was an hour late and the second time she was more than 2 1/2 hours late for my appointment. If someone would have reached out and said that she was running behind and I would've totally understood but that was not the case in either situation and I find that a little unprofessional to be honest. I am someone that communication is very important for and it just never happened. Absolutely the WORST I have been treated in my 7+yrs. in pain management! My 1st visit to this practice I waited over an hour to see the doctor. She never made eye contact with me and had absolutely no interest in anything I had to say, often not letting me speak at all. I have been on the same medication, same strength & dose for over 7 yrs. In the few weeks I have been a patient I have run out of my pills 3 times because she will only call in 6-8 pills at a time! I called Wed. 12/22/21 to report I was out of pills, and again on Thurs. 12/23/21. After nothing phoned into my pharmacy by Thur. afternoon I called again. I was 1st "in cue" for over 20 min. only to be told to leave a message. After no response, I called again. This time I was #5 "in cue". After over 30 min. on hold I was once again told to leave a message. Today is Christmas Eve. My pharmacy still has not received an order. Their office is closed until Tue. This means that after 7 yrs. of taking Oxycodone 2x a day, I am suddenly forced to go a week without my pain meds! Merry Christmas! I will forever refer to Integrated Pain Consultants as "The Grinch" who stole my Christmas!!! ( I only gave it 1 star because I had to! It deserves no stars!) read more

Been a patient of Dr. Seth's since 2015-he is highly competent in both fields of pain management knowledgeable and spine surgery. He consistently provides his patients with multi-dimensional care which he has delivered to me in a very consistent manner through a combination of skills--some of which include his bedside ability to be approachable, personable, disarming and kindly in demeanor as he completes thorough and thoughtful medical work ups, which include lab tests, imaging, and referrals when necessary. Following such a great investigation into my medical concerns, he has been able to provide me with a targeted comprehensive care and treatment plan in a very efficient manner. His vigilance in monitoring my condition and treatment has resulted in an evolved care plan over the years that works with the changes my body or treatment have precipitated. It is of great importance to my confidence and respect if both facility and medical treatment that opioid dosing is followed in the most reassuring meticulous and scrupulous methods-- ensuring each patient has follow-ups including REGULAR urine and/or swab tests --this has offered me a security in knowing my treatment is medically ethical and 100% responsible --which is SO important with the negative and unfortunate effects in which the opioid epidemic has instilled a level of unqualified judgement incorrectly inferring ANY opioid use is a form of irresponsible drug abuse when it most certainly is NOT. I have never experienced such lack of empathy or respect for patients. This is a pain clinic so people who go there are in pain. The front desk people seem "bothered" by you just walking in the door, they all have a flat affect and seem to be miserable there. I brought my 89 year old mom who has severe nerve compression on 4 of her vertebrae and in so much pain. The first two appointments was dealing with the rude staff members. The final appointment for the epidural for my 89 year old mother was a mess. Nobody knew how to transfer her to the gurney for the procedure!! These are health care providers. They asked me to do it for them! The gurney didn't go low enough for a smooth transfer and I'm a small person and it was a risk for me to try to do it on my own. The three grown men finally attempted to help me and got her on her stomach but with no finesse at all. She screamed in pain and had a very sore hip the next morning, likely from pushing her down on her stomach!! Her age wasn't a factor to them, they treated her like she was a 25 year old healthy woman, which clearly she is not!!! I was so disappointed because I finally thought I found the resolution to my mom's terrible pain and I can't go back there. I have to start all over with a new place for the next shot if this one works. This appointment was just yesterday.
