It was exceptionally clean and beautifully appointed, down to every last detail as far as explanatory posters and pamphlets to an Extremely helpful, courteous staff and Doctor! This doctor was amazingly thorough in explaining every aspect of what he was going to do as well as answering all questions before I even had them! Stay away from this practice! They pushed me out after telling me because I wouldn't schedule expensive treatment like an epidural and medial branch block because they have never worked, that I could no longer be a patient there. I teach full-time and said I could schedule a procedure in 1 month after finals wrapped up because I had no more sick time left. The PA Dominque was rude and uncompassionate. She was rude and intimidating. She was arrogant and it was horrible to be let go as a client after 3 yrs. I asked to schedule an appt one on one with the Dr and she said that was not possible. I wanted a consultation to discuss my back issues and other treatment but was denied. I have a stimulator in my spine and it helps a little fir migraine but NOT nerve and facet joint pain. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE PUSHED INTO EXPENSIVE TREATMENTS THAT DO NOT WORK. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND DOMINIQUE IS A TERRIBLE PA. I am having nerve ablation on my neck today and they said I cannot use Uber for my ride back home so I will need to have it without sedation! I have been coming here for over 10 years and I have always used either my insurance transportation or Uber or Lyft. It is a very painfull procedure for me and now I have to have a local type of pain reliever which, by the way, doesn't work for me. I paid $22 for the Uber here and I will not leave w/o having it done so I have to do it w/o the anesthesia Make sure you have someone to take you because I have literally no one! read more

Staff turn around is out off hand. The good ones leave for better pay and the bad one get fired or are simply there as a body. My pain gets worse and I get no new treatments When there are issue with the prescriptions I can't get help and same day appointments are not allowed. You never see Dr Patel anymore. He has disappeared and clearly doesn't follow up on his business. When I started with integrity 5 years ago it was. 5 star experience. Now it's a hit or miss show that gets lots of bad reviews. Staff is very friendly, professional, and helpful. This includes everyone from reception to medical assistants and nurses. They listen patiently and are dedicated to finding an appropriate plan for you, as efficiently as possible. Dr. Ray is super friendly with a wonderful bedside manner and explains things very clearly. I have had a half dozen joint injections down the years, and he administered my recent joint injection with great skill -- I barely even knew it was happening. I've had many orthopedic surgeries and associated pain issues. This was my first visit to this clinic and I can say that the experience was top notch all around. I want to say I regret going to this center I was attending appointments 3 weekly for 3 yrs and had all exams, tests etc ran prior.I left there this yr 2024 with left rotator cuff teres due to body manipulation during procedures.I questioned them about it and was told nobody dresses or undresses the patient.I personally never undressed or dressed myself after a procedure.I was always dressed and wheeled out onto the roadside completely unconscious or seconds away from anesthesia awareness sometimes naked outside sometimes not.Im following up today to see why it's been 7 months with no word from they're office regarding videos the office manager mentioned she would review.I asked for copies 7 months ago. read more

I am encouraged to see that, although upset that they continue to try to sidestep the laws, I am not the only person who feels like they are being treated like a drug addict. My chronic pain is caused by a disintegrating spine and missing discs. The medication I take wasn't even on an opioid based list when I started taking it 12+ years ago. The latest report stated it was not even indicated to cause addiction. Yet, a test that was apparently good enough to use for the regular "pee test" for months and months before COVID-19 closed everything down, now is not good enough. The problems with my back make me incontinent so that means I have no idea when I am going to "let loose." Today, I was made to stay at the office for almost 2 hours while they were trying to force me to pee for them. I almost missed my pre-arranged transportation (I can't drive anymore) home because they wouldn't let me go till I peed. Needless to say, they didn't get their sample. ENOUGH! There are perfectly good alternatives, which were fine before that I even asked for. Now I am looking at them denying my refills until I do a urine test and I have less than a week of meds left. This is NOT the way to treat a patient and certainly not what the oath of "do no harm" is about. Hopefully, they will apologize and my refill will be on its way in a day or two. Anyway, if you are the type of person that likes to be ordered about, kept captive till you pee, and having a doctor be totally uncaring about you and your medical problems, this is the place to go. read more

I'm on the table and being told I have to do an ablation in 2 parts, um no I don't: I verified this for Integrity last time. Integrity: I'm under Emily H-R I've complained before, stated I didn't want to see Randy ever again and I'm still required to if I want treatment. My daughter was referred to Integrity Pain and Wellness for followup after a major surgery. She was able to get a 5 minute phone appointment, which was convenient. Her next appointment was to be in person, but Integrity Pain and Wellness cancelled that appointment the day before. She has not rescheduled. She did receive her bill from them for the phone appointment. $875. When she called them to find out what the charges were for, she was transferred to voicemail. She called back because we really just wanted to know what the charges were for. She was then transferred to a doctor's voicemail without the receptionist even answering the line. I definitly do not recommend using this clinic. read more

Worst doctor I've ever been to. Dr. Patel botched my spinal tap. Then he wouldn't release my medicine I needed for my over 4 year migraine for 3 weeks. My mom faxed him asking why a delay in me getting my medically necessary medication?. She noted he always overprescribes me opiates. The next day my mom called and spoke to Dr. Patel and he said he will never see me again because I gave him "death threats". That's slander, a complete lie. So he wrote in the database of all patients who get opiates that I "threaded to kill him". ABSOLUTE LIE. So no other pain clinic in AZ will treat me because of him slandering me. So I have to move to a different state to get medical treatment. My health insurance told me I am the 31 medical malpractice case against Dr. Patel. Do not ever go to this fraud. read more

Dr. Patel is AMAZING! He's compassionate, kind and patient. As a cancer survivor, chemo had broken down my joints and bones. I have chronic pain from chemo-induced deteriorating disc disease and rods and screws in my spine for 8 yrs now. When injections don't go in the right place, I go from sort of manageable pain (6-7) to unbearable, "I can't live with this" kind of pain (9-10). Patel is compassionate and cares about his patients. His front desk person Hillary and office manager Amy ruined it for me. Major HIPAA violations and not allowing me to speak with doc even though he said to ask for him with any problems. Patel seemed shocked and dismayed to find out his staff had blocked me from having a brief conversation with him the first time they did this, when I realized the shots were not helping. Hillary doesn't see a patient desperate to get out of pain... she sees an adversary. She's a "no" person. She never seems to want to help or have any compassion and says "no" to every request for help. I called, asking for my previous doctor's notes (who was great but no longer taking my new insurance) to be given to Dr Patel so he could see where the injections where going, that were working. Hillary of course said, "No. You have to sign a release." Then she would not return my calls. I was trying to tell her (if she would have only LOOKED in my file) I signed the release when I 1st came there and THE NOTES WERE ALREADY IN MY FILE. She's angry, snarky, discounting, insensitive, unprofessional, mean, vindictive and condescending. First thing she did was call the DAY BEFORE MY FIRST INJECTION, which I was dying for... and told me my insurance wouldn't cover and cancelled the shots. I had taken the day off work for nothing. I asked her, why wouldn't my insurance cover my spinal injections when they would cover my office visit. I told her I was referred to Patel by my insurance co. She wouldn't help... was rude... hung up. After 2 weeks of looking for another doctor and my own detective work (all the while in agonizing pain), I came to find out, just the sedation ($100) wasn't covered. I happily offered to pay. My shots were then rescheduled (2 weeks later cuz now I had to, once again rearrange getting off work). I'm now in overwhelming massive run-away pain. Hillary doesn't care about what problems she causes for the patient. Her first HIPAA violation with me was when she yelled across the waiting room my medication name so that EVERYONE heard. Next HIPAA violation, which ended things for me there was when she would not allow me to speak with doc for 1 quick minute before sedating me (as the doctor requested a quick chat with him whenever I needed). The injections hadn't been helping and I know, from 7 yrs experience, that when they are correctly placed, they work wonders immediately. Hillary did not seem to understand or care it takes a painful half hour car ride followed by another painful hour and a half sitting in the waiting rm for a 10 min convo w doc. When he clearly told me... just ask for me and we can talk, anytime! She just kept saying if I wanted to talk to the doctor, I had to schedule another appointment and come back on another day. I said that I needed my shots today. She said my choice was, get sedated and not be able to talk to doc or talk to doc and skip my shots. All her mistakes, stubbornness, vindictiveness and failure to allow me to talk to doctor caused MASSIVE DELAY IN CARE AND DEVASTATING PAIN FLARE-UP. She got her office manager Amy, on her cell on speaker (LOUD), barged into my tiny exam room and blocked the door, with the DOOR OPEN, forcing me to have a very private conversation about my care, publicly for all in the office to hear. She did not offer to close the door or take the phone off speaker. Everyone in the halls, other exam rooms and probably front waiting area (since it's not a big place and the speaker was on loud) heard an entire conversation about my care. Amy just went on and on repeating herself over and over, spitting back exactly what Hillary had told her and not listening. I was entirely mortified, shaken and astounded by Amy and Hillary's aggressive, condescending, unprofessional manner. When the call was done I handed Hillary back the phone and tried to move her out of the way and close my exam room door. She started SCREAMING that I assaulted her and she called the police on me. My Medical Healthcare Navigator, who witnessed the whole crazy thing, was astounded by Hillary and Amy's behavior. Needless to say I found a new pain management doc who's great and recently found out that Hillary lied on my discharge papers, saying I had broken my pain-meds contract. Which is a bald faced LIE. I am reporting her to the AZ Med Board in the next week. Hillary and Amy, shame on you for your bad behavior, poor treatment and LYING. If you don't want to help ppl with chronic pain than, find another job!! read more

I live in Ahwatukee and I drive 45 minutes every month to see Dr Patel for my pain management, and I have to say that not only are his office staff and Dr. assistants Amazing, but Dr. Patel is So Awesome!! He is one of the most Kind and patient doctors I have ever been to, he is actually concerned about you - he Listens to you and works hard at helping you with managing your pain. The girls up front have always been so nice and friendly to me when I come in!! If you enjoy playing "Guess what your prescription is this month" I encourage you to visit Integriy pain and wellness. I stuck it out for since 2018, I know anyone who is on pain meds understands why I stayed. I will focus on the past 12 months 5 different providers each one complained about others management of my meds. I can easily say that EVERY, yes every month I never new what I was being prescribed, I would leave believing I understood, get my prescriptions, one med missing, doseages wrong, it would take days of phone messages, pleading for a call back. Then explain to the assistant who, has no knowledge of prescribing, where that months prescription error was. I started to make my appts 7 days prior to refill to give me time to get it right. As opposed to the day prior last script when u have one pill left. So an error meant you were facing withdrawals, Going in a week early at least when I got refill it was accurate, because I had 7 days of calling and pleading to review my prescription and get it right. O I am a retired Masters Level nurse, so I was persistent and was ALWAYS correct., the prescription was wrong. ( at that time the aides were on charge of facing the prescriptions!!, yes the assistants were responsible for this!) not sure why because the clinic is making $$$ hand over fist w all the procedures. Needless to say I was not a valued patient, I was a complaining addict in their eyes. Yes you too will be treated like an addict. No matter how closely you follow the rules. There were times I was 4 pills short at end of month, I take responsibility and endured the side effects. But this last month did it for me. I broke my foot 3 weeks ago, I did use an extra prn for 7 days, I immediately called integrity pain and wellness and got apt for following Tuesday. At apt I admit I was overwhelmed, I requested a reduction in meds to prevent things from escalating. I left as usual feeling like I was understood. Of course I got my prescription with an 80% reduction. If u know about opiods u know this is a prescription for disaster. Of course I called to talk w Casie Vinson New Grad 2021 nurse practioner. ( check out Glassdoor at employee reviews, 1 star and many of employees describe the lying and manipulation of patients as reason for leaving) I was told it was illegal for them to prescribe more than once a month. That is a lie. Truly a lie. My stating that I know prescribing laws well and they were lying Got me discharged, I was repeatedly told I requested an 80% reduction. Promised by Tammy Lee office manager PROMISED to follow up, (do u remember Tammy? ) well of course no call back. Today my bp is 150/120 stroke vicinity. Do they care No "You asked for it" was what I was told. I asked for it? My last words to miss Vinson was a thank you for understanding. I fear for anyone who has no knowledge about prescriptions being abused by the providers, yes abused. Tricking patients into believing that you've getting one prescription but she new darn well that she had other plans is cruel. Their lies about prescribing laws is their first defense. Hoping you will by that lie, because that act so convincing that their punitive subjective "rules" r laws. No they r rules that change frequently created by them to avoid patients. FYI as far as iP&W are concerned I am not a money maker, no shots, not implants in my spine, no intervention of the week that they r pushing. read more

I really hate to leave a review like this, because Dr. Patel and his staff used to be amazing. Over the past year, the quality of service and attention I've received have just gone downhill. I was referred to Integrity Pain and Wellness in 2016, after failed attempts to relieve my chronic facial, neck, and shoulder pain. The practice was much smaller back then, and it was very easy to get an appointment to be seen and many treatment options were offered to me. I've tried rounds of trigger point injections, nerve blocks, and medications. I also had trigger point injections done with an oral surgeon, per Dr. Patel's recommendation, as well as PRP injections in the same areas with the surgeon. Unfortunately these injections didn't do much for me, and in fact made my pain much worse, so after a follow-up with Randy, I decided to just continue on my medication and stop doing other procedures for a while to see if my pain would improve and let my trigger points settle down a bit. Recently I saw another NP at the office, Marti, who was truly a godsend. She recommended I try doing the trigger point injections again, 3 sets of injections scheduled 2 weeks apart, with the oral surgeon, since most of my pain is in my face. I was hesitant to try injections again, but Marti explained to me why she believed this would work for me - something I've never experienced at this office before. I had my first set of injections a few days ago, and the subsequent pain has been unbearable. The surgeon recommended I take 3 Aleve tablets twice a day for the pain, which doesn't help at all. Neither does my current dose of pain medication. Obviously I can't take more than I am prescribed, so I called Integrity this morning to try to be seen sooner than my follow-up next week because I just don't know what else to do, and the receptionist was completely uninterested in helping me. So I called back and tried to leave a message for the medical assistant, hoping that she would be able to find a way to get me seen ASAP. The medical assistant informed me that Marti left the practice to work somewhere that is closer to her, leaving me back with Randy and Dr. Patel, and my follow up was scheduled with Randy, who is completely booked because she's been out of town for a couple of days, instead of with Marti like I was originally scheduled. She said she would ask Randy if they could squeeze me in because of my situation and call me tomorrow. Very rarely does this office follow-up on the promises they make to call you. It used to be very easy to get in for an appointment when I was having a pain flare up to discuss with Randy what I should do. I think I've been a pretty good patient, and I try to follow all of the new rules regarding pain management in Arizona as well as the office's guidelines. All I'm trying to do is get some relief for this pain, and I have to jump through hoop after hoop to get some help. Going to urgent care or the ER aren't an option because I am a chronic pain patient. It would just be nice to be treated like a patient again instead of just a number. Feeling like my pain management team doesn't care about me anymore is incredibly frustrating and leaves me wondering if I'll ever be able to get the relief I need. read more

Dr. Patel and Randy are what make this place if you could call it "bearable". I would not recommend this place to anybody who needs pain relief. I have been waiting for a week to have a refill every time I call it's a different hoop I have to jump through. The guy who puts the IV in your arm for sedation is awesome. The guy who does your sedationIs is very nice. Pretty much anybody you talk to you on the phone is going to come off as not caring about you which means they probably don't care about their job for helping patients in the medical field which they signed up to do. No help with the pain after surgeries said what i was already on was good...... anyone on meds knows that you gain a tollerance and need more for same relief. I've been through my share of pain clinics over the past 30 years & this is the first time anyone has taken the initiative to run tests (EMG, Ultrasound MRI)to get to the source of the problem so the most effective treatment plan is designed just for me - no one size fits all. I'd thought I'd exhausted my options but learned that there were treatments that had never been offered to me elsewhere restoring my hope that I no longer have to live in pain. read more

I have been a patient here at the Scottsdale and Mesa clinic for several years. When I became a patient here a few years ago my quality of life was poor. They have given me quality of life back and I continue to get better and better. I even became a patient on the wellness side so all of my medical needs are taken care of in one place. I see Dr. Amit Patel. He does all the procedures right in office so very convenient. They know me by name. David, the nurse that starts the IV is so nice and as I am a hard stick he always gets the IV. Jeremy the Nurse Anesthetist is very funny keeps the mood fun so no need to be nervous. I usually see them in Mesa but I could not find that location but happy with both. They are very busy because they are good but I never wait past my appt time, usually I am seen early. I have referred many people there and they have had the same great experiences. read more

I would not use pain management. They put you on these pills and they have no end game to how they going to get you off of them then now you are addicted to them. They overly prescribe my husband oxycodone after knowing he owed on them seven times. They don't double check records they don't care if you're trying to get help in rehab staff continue to call to remind him of appointments after he was in the Suboxone clinic. He owed seven times and Hospital record stated on there for him not to continue with oxycodone and the doctors not only did they prescribe them to him they increase his dosage. Stay away from any pain management find other means of getting rid of the pain because oxycodone is highly addicted and they do not care. Every day hundreds of people die from od off of Oxycodone. Doctors do not care once you addicted because all they care about is the money so people please stay away. My husband died and after he died they want to claim because he was on methamphetamine 3 months ago that's why no lawyers or anyone would listen to me instead of realizing the only reason why he was on methamphetamines is because when he ran out of the oxycodone that was recommended by an a****** friend for him to use to get the edge off of him. And the top all of that he tested positive for it and from my understanding when you test positive for any other drug they should not give you oxycodone and Pain Management but they didn't care they still gave it to him they increase the dosage and after he died it was like oh well they don't give a f*** about you so stay away read more

I am extremely impressed with the care and attention I've received so far. The staff was friendly and professional, and they went out of their way to make sure I understood everything. The NP Alex who saw me took more time with me than all the other doctors I've seen put together. He not only listened to what I had to say, he questioned into my responses to make sure he fully understood everything then came up with a great plan. He really cares about his work and it shows. Moments after leaving while walking to my car I got a call from the receptionist who noticed I missed filling out some information about my pharmacy that would be needed to get my medication right away. She only could have done that by immediately reviewing my paperwork to make sure I wouldn't have a problem. What a great team, I really can't recommend this place enough. read more

Dr. Patel and the entire team at Integrity Pain & Wellness Center (Scottsdale location) went above and beyond to begin to help me take my life back from severe physical pain.  Working on a cutting edge solution Dr. Patel was willing to answer all of my questions no matter how big or small.  I share my experience so you might also find help with this intelligent team of Doctors, Nurses and all of the other medical staff. I definitely will check back in every so often to let everyone know how I am doing.  First CHECK BACK since my initial post. I do not say this next part lightly. Dr. Patel, his team and the treatments I have been receiving saved my life. This next part is tell you help is out there and this how I found it with the Integrity Pain & Wellness. To Do that I have to start at the beginning. Physical pain can break a person. No matter how strong I thought I was the pain broke me physically and emotionally. I only understand this now because I found a treatment with the help of Dr. Patel and Molly that is working. Some of my injuries I am able to discuss- I started with multiple fractured vertbrea, bulging and herniated discs along with stenosis which left me unable to function. Along with post traumatic stress from an incident that happened when I was younger. There's more but I think you get the point. I found help with Dr. Patel and I am grateful. I guess I share my story today because I trust Dr. Patel 100% and I believe people should know what other patients have experienced and if they found help and guidance. Good luck. Horrible staff, they hire a call center that answers all their calls and they do all their paperwork. They are incompetent and can not submit a simple fax. You are unable to speak to office staff. No one calls back, horrible patient services. The NP is incompetent and lacks communication skills. A nightmare to deal with and their lack of knowledge cause delay of treatment. The insurance asked me to find another doctor and they would be happy to authorize my transfer cause they are tired of dealing with them! read more

I was a patient of Dr. Patel for over a year. After numerous injections that didn't work both the doctor and myself decided to try the spinal cord stimulator trial to see if this would produce results. Now this is where things get interesting, his staff completely dropped the ball on getting things approved with my insurance company. It took them 2 months to submit for approval and another 4 months to get my insurance the proper medical files so they could approve it which only took a couple weeks once the insurance got the correct stuff. After the successful trial it took them another 3.5 weeks to get a referral to a surgeon. 2 weeks of which they just completely forgot about me and another 1.5 weeks to get the proper paperwork and files sent over to that surgeon for approval. It is very apparent that it is all about the money in this office. A procedure and recovery that should only have been a 4 month process has turned into a year long battle with incompetence so overwhelming that I refuse to step foot into Dr. Patel's office ever again. I have not received any kind of communication in regards to my recovery or the procedure from his office but my mom keeps getting calls asking her to come back for procedures. Hmmmm....tell me it's not about the money and I will laugh hysterically in your face. Beware of this doctor and his unlicensed staff treating patients!! You are just a dollar sign to them!! To address the doctor's comments, I hope to God you would be there for a patient that had blood dripping from their back following a procedure at your clinic!! This is the place to visit if you suffer from chronic pain, or any pain issues at all, the staff here are amazing, and they treat you with respect, I have been to a few places throughout the valley and this is far more the best. After years of shuffling between different pain clinics and pill-mills, and being constantly treated like a drug seeking addict, this clinic was a refreshing change. The doctors and staff have always treated me not only with compassion, but with an attitude of respect. If you are suffering from chronic pain you don't need the added burden of being judged and shamed by the people that should be helping you. These people understand that. If you're suffering with chronic pain I'm sure you've experienced similar treatment. It's so refreshing to be treated in a respectful manner. I have been going to this clinic for approximately three years. Dr. Patel is an exceptional doctor. He helped me to control my pain as well as anybody could. He has also always worked with me while I had other medical issues requiring pain assistance. Without putting my information online I will tell you what occurred and why this place is only rated one star. The one star is only so I could post this review since it does not allow for zero. I began going to Integrity Pain and Wellness just over a year ago. At first it was awesome. Then my insurance went away and I went to self pay. Which for a non working disabled almost 50 year old isn't easy. It's 125.00 a visit while I apply for insurance again and continue my treatment, letting my "drs" know everything going on every step. Just over a week ago I went in for my appointment I was told by the p/a they were going to treat me on an every two week basis. Fine. I go to the pharmacy to pick up my medicine only to find out there isn't enough to get me through one week let alone two. So I call the office the faxed another script. Perfect. Then the pharmacist doesn't want to fill it because the drs office messed up. They call the pharmacy I go pick up the rest. I have a follow up appointment yesterday to show I've scheduled my other appointments and get my next two weeks of medication. Then I call to find out when I can get them as my funds are limited. That's when I'm told they again put the wrong count sending two scripts that equal two weeks worth of medication and that the pharmacist won't fill them till the end of the month which if you are following this you realize puts me without medication. I call the drs office to find out they cut my daily doses without discussing it with me. Finding that I'm not the only patient they did this to according to the call center, otherwise I would have known this over a week ago and I was there with another adult in the room and they NEVER said a word. Apparently I'm not the only patient they did this too. So the dr office calls the pharmacist to explain their mistake again, only to have the pharmacist at Frys tell them and me to screw off. So I call the dr office again, I'm told the c/s manager will call me in the morning to help handle the situation. No call when they open as promised. I call again only to be told now that because I saw one of the other p/a in the office an she has to do it but she's off today and has access to her urgent emails and will get back to me. So in other words follow the rules but they break them, then lie, cover it up and don't help. I ask what can we do as patients?! We can go to the medical board. And I'm seriously contemplating doing so. read more

I have been going to integrity for three years now. And have had a great experience the majority of the time. I see them for chronic back pain. Earlier this year I reinjured a herniated disk. Went in to see the dr. They took a urinalysis for legal purposes. But the staff never explained to me what it was for at the time. I was in a 8-9 pain at the time, and was having a very hard time. They sent the urinalysis to a lab out of my network, which has sent me a bill for just under $1000 dollars. When I go to speak with them, they say they will give my number to the office manager. And I will get a call. It has been months and I have never received a call ever. After multiple visits to the office and calls left. They also gave me a paper to the billing department of the lab they sent the test to. Well the lab has nothing to really do with it. And is not interested in working with me at all. I am still waiting to speak with the office manager about this. Just be aware, even if you are in excruciating pain, make sure you ask if what they are doing is in your network.
