Finally I asked for a Supervisor and she said their normal turn times for new Patients is appx. 3-4 weeks but she would confirm and call me back tomorrow. ( what's another day after waiting 9days when I am is so much psi. And can't walk). The Supervisor also told me they aren't answering their phones because they are all on the phones. I said ok but why can't they return their messages? The reception/people who answer the phones are unprofessional, no experience and lack concern for patients. I have never complained as I know I'm not the only person waiting. I would not use Neospine, if Dr Allen was not there. He is best foot Dr. Unfortunately he works out of this office. I have been a patient here for many years, and unfortunately the quality of care and service has…read moredeclined significantly. During my first few years, my experience was excellent. Now, patients are often treated poorly, appointment times are changed with little or no notice, phone calls frequently go unanswered, and billing procedures seem to change regularly without proper communication. The condition of the clinic is also concerning. Restroom trash cans, including those used when providing urine samples, are often overflowing with medical waste. There are frequently no paper towels available for handwashing, and I have seen numerous full urine sample cups left stacked on the counter rather than properly secured. Some appeared to have been sitting there since the previous day. There is very little continuity of care because patients are routinely scheduled with different providers. The cost of the required "mental health" evaluations is also excessive. Patients are charged hundreds of dollars for what amounts to a medical assistant reading through a standardized list of questions--questions that many people struggling with mental health concerns may not feel comfortable answering honestly. The billing department has been another ongoing source of frustration. Every few months I receive statements claiming I owe thousands of dollars, only to discover that payments I have already made were never applied correctly. After repeated experiences, I have learned that when the billing department ignores emails for months, the issue has often been corrected without any communication to the patient. There are many more issues I could mention, but overall it is disappointing to see how much this clinic has deteriorated. As a long-time patient, I expected much better.
