Over the years I've had occasion to go to other physical / occupational therapy services locations. Absolutely none have compared to Pioneer Therapy Center. The team here is so concerned with each patient, with correct modality, with expert awareness and keen understanding via education and experience to address varied situations whether it be hand wrist arm shoulder hip back foot etc. each visit is unique in that you receive individualized personal care but at the same time are introduced and involved in a family like environment. The chatter in the room ranges from fun activities people have done to everyone supporting an individual in their current situation. The recent addition of a wellness program is really the ultimate extension of physical repair to address the internal functioning of your body: understanding the makeup, metabolic conditioning and food choices. Karen the owner only hires skilled professionals as her assistants. The office is run like a Swiss watch and the care is exceptional. Karen may not work on each person individually each time, but.... she has an uncanny ability to know what's going on in the entire clinic at all times. Nothing escapes her. :-) she is always available to teach and assist each patient as well as employee. Another very special part of her therapy services is working with children. I have had the amazing Privilege of being in the room as she and her assistants work with these children. I have seen every kind of behavior, every kind of insufficiency and always always the children were handled with care and yet a disciplined and educational experience. I am NOT one for handing out ratings of 5 very often. Therefore please understand that I highly respect this facility its services its staff and the commitment to move me from unable to walk to now walking over one mile. read more

As a newly diagnosed person on the spectrum I never recieved OT therapy before I was uneasy and very nervous and also skeptical of this therapy. This place has treated me with nothing but patients, understanding, and has actually improved my quality of life. My OT thrapist Shana Radach I highly recommend she is very observant to my needs and also has a good sence of humor although sometimes I am hesitant to try something her calm approach and trying to make you laugh to get things going a little easier has made things a lot easier. Somehow Shana can pick up on what mood I'm in before I even know. Her approach to therapy is highly professional and she bases the appointments off of what mood you are in to best approach therapy not only have I learned things about my sensory needs I have learned about the zones of regulation. Where before I wasnt able to come down as easily most of the time I'm able to start recognizing when I'm about to have a meltdown. I highly reccomend this place to anyone who has a developmental disability the professionalism is outstanding and your quality of life for yourself or a loved one will dramatically improve. Shana Radach is like a magical person she has a million ideas to make things better for quality of life. I am a first-year graduate student working for my masters in occupational therapy and was given the opportunity to spend part of my fieldwork 1 at shadowing and assisting the team at the Pioneer Therapy Center. Simply stated, I could not be happier with my placement. I have learned so much from the wonderful team at the clinic. Karen, Jessica, Klair and Laura create a warm, friendly, and engaged environment for their client's and consistently exhibited immense compassion and skillful treatment for all that walked through the doors. My time spent at the clinic has been such an inspiration to me as I continue down my path to become an OT. I am so impressed with this facility ! Every therapist is compassionate and professional. On many occasions I have had to bring my two young children , 2 and 4 years old , fearful that they would be disruptive and welcome . The reaction of the staff was quite the opposite . They treated my children like their own , guiding them and caring for them . I have never been treated so kindly at a healthcare facility . Like a part of the family . Klair is so amazing with children , Karen listens to every word you speak and genuinely cares about your progress , Jessica is so knowledgeable and soothing with fabulous massage techniques , and Gabe is so helpful and reassuring !! I have already come so far in my progress , but I am sadly not looking forward to being 100% healed ! I will miss these wonderful people ! read more

I had the pleasure of observing at the Pioneer Therapy Center as an OTA level 1 Fieldwork student from PIMA Medical Institute. Karen, Jessica, and Klair were welcoming, educational, and extremely kind. They epitomized everything that an Occupational Therapy clinic should- they are friendly, knowledgeable, and always put their clients first. Every client I met left each session feeling thrilled with their treatment and the individualized care provided by the entire PTC staff. These folks are like having family that care about your health and recovery. From the day Karen Witters contacted me for my initial appointment she treated me like I was important. And everyone there seems to really care. Me returning to full mobility has been their number one goal and they encouraged me when I when I worried full recovery was not going to be possible. I was wrong! I can barely tell I broke my arm! But that's not good enough for them. They want to keep working until I am as close to my previous level of mobility as possible. They're trying to get me back on my snowboard- with care, therapy, and encouragement. I feel so lucky to be able to get my care here. read more

One of the most professional atmospheres I've had the opportunity of attending. I highly recommend it, but I highly recommend it because of the staff.
