She consistently asked how I was doing and if the pressure was okay, too much or too little. I have terrible issues with my hips, glutes, legs and feet. With a combination of Thai massage, yoga and stretching I felt fantastic when we finished. I got up off the massage table easily and felt so relaxed and moved around so much more easily. After I was unable to travel to Greenville for my 5th in-person 18-hour workshop, I was offered the 3-page AI-generated summaries, partially inaudible Zoom recordings, notes, and a link to a TED Talk in place of a refund - for a $325 payment. I also no longer have access to recordings of the sessions I actually attended in person due to the studio's lack of web storage. Prior to this, their 300-hour program that was originally advertised as 18 optional weekends completely changed after I had already paid $3,300. I was told this was in order to allow more students to sign up because they needed a way to pay their teachers. When I communicated my disappointment over multiple topic removals, I was offered, "maybe a dinner one Saturday evening your in town." Additionally, trainings advertised as running 8am-6pm have ended 1-2 hours early on multiple occasions, which doesn't meet Yoga Alliance's required contact hours. If you're considering a significant financial investment here, go in aware that there's no flexibility if plans change on your end, even though flexibility clearly exists when it benefits the studio.

The temperature of the water was not what it was described to be- it was way colder and I was shivering for the last 20-30 minutes. Even with the earplugs, I heard noisy pipes and the water system doing its thing, music, doors opening and closing. There was too much ambient light creeping in through the pod lid. I just was not able to have that nice sensory-deprivation experience and float without a care in the world, and without sensory input.
