I remember her from Holy Spirit Urgent Care in Carlisle. Same experience. Because of that I did not go back there probably for 5 years. Fortunately she was no longer year. My guess is she was told to leave. I may call the office to see if there are any alternatives to her. If after the next visit, I have the same experience, I will report her to the Doctor or go somewhere else. I have seen other negative comments about her in reviews. So, I am not alone.

If somebody else set-up shop in Carlisle they would be swamped with patients within a week. I will never forget when we waited 3 hours for our newborn's first appointment. Yes, 3 hours in a freezing cold waiting room with a newborn. You are probably saying to yourself that there was a very good explanation for that and in fact there was! There were two doctors on that morning and one of the two doctors was sick (and contagious according to her) so only one Dr was seeing newborns. That other Dr, the contagious one, was only seeing sick kids because, as we all know, all germs are the same so she couldn't possibly have infected kids that already have weakened immune systems. If you really want to take your children to a Dr that is OK seeing sick kids while she is contagious then more power to you and good luck to your children.

Just because you aren't feeling well, does not mean you have COVID! I know my body and know what I may have or not have. I've recently had a sinus infection, and instead of treating me, they made me go through COVID testing before they would prescribe meds. By the time the tests came back NEGATIVE, as I knew they would, my sinus infection turned to a sore throat from drainage, worse pain and pressure and a cough. Now they prescribe meds...that did not help! If they would have given me something when I actually started the symptoms, I would probably feel better by now!

The front office staff can be a little short and testy sometimes, but I find that they are normally very friendly considering the busy-ness that's always happening there! Masland Associates also has their own lab onsite as well, which has been convenient when I've needed it. I'd recommend Dr. Bower to anyone - he's friendly, knowledgable, and has a good sense of humor, which I find helps relieve some of the stress of visiting a doctor's office! Over the past year, I've been blessed that Dr. Bower has been able to send my prescriptions straight to the pharmacy. For years I had to call 48-72 hours in advance, make time to go pick up a physical script, and then take it to the pharmacy. Now I request my script via phone or the new online portal and within a day or two, the pharmacy calls me to let me know my script is ready.
