Because of the name and website of this Business i got fooled, I was expecting a great experience for a simple Job to fill two simple hair lines cracks, some simple patches and paint the deck! Below are pictures of what it looks like the same day he "claimed" it was completed! Mr Sawyers refuses to complete, to fixing and painting the job and wanting the balance payment without completing the job, to give customer satisfaction as expected from his professional Contract! I send him tons of messages for him to complete my job which he refuses. Is this how it is in Central Florida? The job was about $1600, He took 50% deposit upfront upon signing agreement, then he took $150 money to buy paint the day of arrival his contract stated, was a red flag however i was expecting a very reputable, professional company for great results when i signed agreement! Isn't it you get a complete and satisfied Job before you pay the final balance in Florida agreements? you know what i repeatedly ask him to come check this work even i sent him the pictures, so we complete payment so i get the warranty he offers after completion! After 3 months the pool deck has been destroyed with Chlorine because of the type of paint. I can post pictures after. I want to focus on the incomplete job first with the pictures the day he claimed it was completed! Tell me about the picture below please? Note They warn us not because of an attractive website, a nice post card handout, or in the community flyers means they are to be trusted! I know we need to check BBB, and check reviews before hiring any company to work at your home. Today companies buy reviews, or they have friends and family do reviews so you have to read and check dates, location You have to be super carefully!

He was super attentive and worked and completed on a super tight deadline. His worker he used was so honest, we entrusted him completely to watch our house while we were out of town for a week and he even got our packages for us. I wish I could only work with contractors as honest and attentive as Tom. We will be using him again and again for any and all projects we get. In July of 2023, we had our separate 1-car and 2-car garage floors finished by Tru Grit. The end…read moreproduct looked fairly good as long as you didn't look too closely. Some repairs after the initial installation were required which gives the floor an uneven look in some places. After the installation, the solvent smell in the 1-car garage never subsided making it impossible to be in that garage for any length of time. The 2-car garage did not have this problem. Tru Grit came back and added another topcoat in an attempt to eliminate the smell but that only helped slightly. After 3 weeks, the 1-car garage still had a fairly strong solvent smell. After 3 or 4 months, the smell did finally go away. The installation crew was sloppy. During the installation they marred the baseboards with their equipment which required touch-up painting in many places. They slopped the base coat on some of the shrubbery and ground cover. They dumped some sort of liquid in the grass in two different places which killed it, and they got some topcoat on the grass in a third place which also killed it. I had the curbing installed around the perimeter of both garages and they didn't do any preparation of those surfaces, covering blobs of left over sheetrock compound and caulk instead of first removing them. I also had them apply the basecoat to the threshold of the front door and they slopped it onto the door trim requiring significant touch-up painting. Tru Grit did offer to take care of correcting these items. Three years later, the floor looks pretty much like it did in the weeks after installation with one exception - The portion of the floor that is outside the garage overhead doors has yellowed quite noticeably. I noticed on their website in the Q&A portion that they don't actually answer the question as to how resistant the coatings are to UV exposure. The coating is still in place, but I am here to tell you, it DOES yellow over time.

Tony misrepresented himself and his experience along with his actual insurance coverage (which they sided with me but Tony was not covered). Sadly, he took my project on as something for his portfolio without telling me he had NEVER used these materials (he had me choose from) on countertops before. He ruined my countertops after ordering the wrong materials and lack of experience. Only AFTER he poured the epoxy and started to leave did he say, "I'm excited to see how this turns out. I've never used this on a countertop." What? He also left epoxy all over my kitchen (running down my refrigerator, clumped on my stainless steel sink, running down baseboards, etc.) and tracked grout from his shoes all over my tile floor. When confronted, he left saying he would contact the manufacturer of the now lovey shade of "nicotine yellow" the epoxy has dried into. He has not answered phone calls or texts. I wasted almost a grand in cash and have EVEN MORE WORK to repair now. I have consulted with 3 other contractors and they are in consensus that the job was handled completely wrong. I hired Tony to resurface counters, paint cabinets and install backsplash. All which he said he could do NO PROBLEM. However, he puzzled us after the fact by asking someone in my household how to install the mosaic tile! What?

We scheduled an appointment and he came along and explained what was needed and how long it would take. He gave us a price that we were happy with and we scheduled for the following week. Lee and crew arrived on time and as well as doing a great job they cleaned up after themselves and made sure that we were 100% happy with the job. If ever I needed work done again I would automatically call them and I highly recommend them to anyone .
