They sent a guy to our home who did a mold reading in our home and said we shouldn't have any issues with mold in attic even though he never went up there, so I knew they tried to pull a fast one, I couldn't believe they tried this so forced them to hire a mold mitigation company who found wet blown insulation everywhere and mold from the water. Told them to replace damaged insulation and have mold removed, took two months to get them to do this. They also sent in a crew who knew very little about painting and their job was to paint the ceilings which were wet everywhere, they didn't mask off anything and used the wrong color so had to come back but were so sloppy as heck' I asked them to leave. Initially the roofing company wanted to paint only the spots that were wet and said it should blend in, I said the paint is 10 years old you are not going to do that. Dishonesty is huge at this company from our experience and unusual business practice, they started contacting our insurance company and were told by my insurance company they needed to work thru me but they did some things that are unusual which I won't list here. If you saw our yard you would vomit, there were shingles everywhere, our lawn looked like a junkyard, they are the messiest company I have ever worked with. I attached several photos. This company should not be in business and everyone should stay clear of them. We live in an upscale neighborhood and all neighbors were taken back by the overall work ethic by American Roofing, morals and quality of work are absent for sure.

Their goal is to rip true Christians and widowed senior citizens on a fixed income off! I was given a price, and it cost me $962 more than the agreed price. In addition, they caused damage to my home - Please see photos. Also, there is an additional 4% fee if you use a credit card to pay them. I had to borrow the extra money so that I can eat for the next few months. So not only am I out of $962 and the cost of repairing my home, but I will also have the cost and inconvenience of money orders. Since I am concerned that they will take my check and steal money from my checking account, I sent a certified letter with a money order. A LAIR WILL STEAL!! As the widow of a veteran and during this month of remembering veterans and current military personnel. This company should not be allowed to use the name American in their title. Their treatment of veteran's wives is not what my husband and million more fought so that American would mean something positive. In November 2020, I contacted American Roofing Company for a FREE estimate. Upon completing the evaluation, the company representative had me sign that the inspection was only Free if they did the work. I did not hear from them for three months (God was trying to tell me something). And I did not call another roofing company since I am an Honest person who had signed an agreement. Finally, in February 2021, I reached out to find out what was happening. The salespeople showed up, and it was "Praise the Lord' this and "you are a Christian woman, and we will do it for the original agreed price." They even ended the meeting in prayer. Look behind the sheep clothing. I even said if they could not do it for the original price, we could delay until I saved any additional money. In April, they finally showed up to do the roof. Did I mention a dumpster was in my yard for over a week after the incompletion of the roof? Then the invoicing started. I explained the disparity of the invoice to the Corporate office and the damage caused by their lousy roof. Brittany in the corporate office said, "we will take care of it" (another Lie). Since lying is their native tongue, nothing was taken care of. As I calmy, humbly explained what happened and what I was told, they said: "well, those people don't work here anymore." However, I noticed the name on the invoice is the same name Andrew Campbell, which signed on the agreed amount on 2/26/2021. Why am I not surprised the corporate office lied again? I know why they did not believe me because liars assume everyone lies as they do. No apology was offered. Just give us our money. Documentation of everything in this review is available, and I offered it to the corporate office. But they are not interested in the truth. I have reached out to a local consumer advocate. If they choose the case and it airs, I will update this honest review. If they do not, I have Galatians 6:7 on my side. If you are a widowed senior on a fixed income, have a trusting soul, and want an excellent, trustworthy roofing company. THIS IS NOT IT!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

I called Nikki, Sandra and W.L. and after about 5 or 6 calls they sent a man out that could not speak English to look at it. They never called me back so I started calling and leaving messages with Nikki and Sandra again. I had a total of 13 unreturned calls. finally I got an email saying I was missing a rafter and nothing he could do about it. I have been on that roof many times before the new roof, putting up Christmas lights and cleaning debris and there was no loose decking at the edge. Think twice about using American Roofing.
