My experience is strictly based upon their birthday parties…read more This past weekend I had a birthday party for my young boys. We had kids ranging from 4 to 7. They all had a blast. We had the last slot of the day so we were able to add an additional 30 minutes of floor time for an additional fee. We felt it was well worth it. First 45 minutes was open play on one side of the gym. They had a little obstacle course set up that most of them took a turn on. The second 45 minutes, they inflated this giant blowup obstacle course with a slide at the end. It was a huge hit. The two coaches were on the floor supervising the kids the whole time. When that was over, they served the food we brought (pizza and cupcakes) and provided the plates/napkins, etc. Which I thought was really nice. It was a very enjoyable experience and I can't say enough good things about it.

Staff is great we had my daughter going Monday through Friday. After preschool ended we loved the program so much we kept her in the summer camp program. She made lots of little friends. The field trips are amazing during the summer from the state fair, movies, bowling, swimming, Folsom lake you name it. My daughter would come back with wonderful stories and exhausted. Staff Samantha, Stefany, Shelby, and Hannah do an amazing job with these children. Wished we could stay with them but we will definitely continue with the program during the summer at Twin Oaks :)

One day out of the blue I get a phone call saying they don't want my money or me at their business anymore. I'm confused so I asked the owner why, what did I or my daughter do? She couldn't answer me why just that she doesn't want my business. I'm confused and want answers. I never had a problem with anyone there, I was paid up on the gym fees, I don't have a criminal record, nothing. I don't understand and the owner never would give me any explanation why. Just that it's her business decision to let us go. Bad owner business management. I took my daughter to another gym and we are happy at our new gyms. Just wish flip 'n fly wouldn't throw happy kids away like that. My daughter took it personal. She is a kind loving child that works hard to be a better athlete and person. It really hurt my daughter's feelings to be tossed away like trash. I don't recommend this place to anyone. They will toss your child out for no reason or explanation, damaging your child's self esteem for life.

The kids support and encourage one another, (despite age differences, and regardless of roles). For shows, they are paired up with buddies who can walk them through the process or send them encouraging notes, etc. they focus on character development, and how kids learn what I would consider to be important qualities, such as discipline, resilience, kindness, etc. Even the parents get to join in on the fun, as parent involvement/volunteering is required for shows. I've really enjoyed connecting with other theater moms and dads and working together on parent teams. I also like that parents are not involved in the classes. That means if your kid wants to do theater and you don't have the time to volunteer, you still have options for them. The teachers are passionate and highly capable. From what I've seen, they are immensely talented in their own fields. Each time one of my children takes a class, they definitely come away knowing more than they went in knowing, and it shows in their performances. Our oldest child has been involved with CYT over the past couple of years, and we have seen great growth in her singing and dance abilities, as well as her drive and work-ethic. We're definitely excited to introduce the siblings to CYT.

Moved to area end of the school year / start of summer and to be honest was worried about kiddo…read more(4yrs old) settling in and being comfortable at a new school. "Application" process was easy and I did a virtual tour via FaceTime with Millie (one of the owners). She was super calm and answered every single question I had & showed me every nook and cranny or the school and where kiddo was going to be. PK2 here we come! 1st day I don't think it ever gets easier sending your kiddo to a new school. Kiddo was a touch apprehensive of a new environment but Teacher Nikki was so incredibly warm and welcoming to kiddo (and hubs and I)! Immediately I knew he was going to be just fine. We met Teacher Monique the next day or so - they coteach PK2 - and she's a gem. Both teachers are warm & caring (like aunties) and their love for teaching shines through! The classroom Together Monique & Nikki have created a thriving classroom full of areas to explore with defined spaces & boundaries. There a reading circle, pet fish, reading pod, and then nap mats for the kiddos to use after lunch before afternoon activities. If the kids don't nap they do have the option to read/look at books quietly. The PK2 classroom has two restrooms with kiddo sized toilets and sinks. Each season brings new decorations to the classroom (and school). There are days when kiddo is having a rough morning and both Teacher Nikki and Teacher Monique are angels getting him into class quickly, settled and then sharing with us that he's ok which I so appreciate because there's nothing worse than leaving your kiddo in tears! The school overall Goddard does a host of extra activities- summer bbq, Father's Day celebration, Trunk-or-Treat, holiday concert to name a few. Each brings the Goodard teachers & families together in a special way, along all to get to know each other a little better, enabling us partner for our kid's. Goddard is a pretty special place. One that is developing our kid in an amazing way and preparing him for kindergarten!

This is our first season playing in the Hot Shots league. First impressions when walking in was…read morechaos, but you soon realize it is organized chaos. The snack bar is well stocked with just about anything you want, but I secretly think it is a trap as my kids have talked me into something each time we have been there. The referees have been fantastic, especially for the little ones being patient and explaining what the rules are and having fun while they do it. It would be nice if there was a bit more time between games as you are being stared at in the stands by the next games parents while you wait for your kiddos to come off the court. The only drawback of this location is getting back onto Industrial after the game, especially if both this center, the one across the street, and the soccer facility are all having events. It would be nice if the businesses worked with the City and County to put in a traffic light there to make this a bit easier.

In our play here however, we have found the backdrop of windows around the courts to be a safety concern. I would highly suggest more padding on the glass portions of the facility. Courts with windows behind the basketball hoops have metal mullions that are very dangerous, we have seen players break their arm on the mullion and other players get very hurt from slamming up against them. My other request would be to rotate the refs per game per court, I have 2 sons, 2 different teams that played back to back on court 5 from 2-6 and they had the same refs the entire time, both age groups were very physical and the refs called very little in fouls, 3 in the key, sportsmanship conduct. They seemed tired. Kudos for getting to play consistently with challenging teams just a few items that would improve the experience and safety.
