My boys are relatively new to a classroom environment (they've been attending since April) so finding the right place was incredibly important to me. Since attending Knowledge Treat Academy, I have already seen so many wonderful milestones in both of my children's lives in such a short amount of time. Both of my boys are autistic and require extra patience, understanding, and care. Jordan has been absolutely incredible with my son Liam and always gives me a sense of comfort and ease when dropping him off each day. Ms. Tasha has also been so patient, kind, and supportive with both of my boys. Ms. Andee is amazing as well, and I truly appreciate all of the love, care, and dedication she shows my children. The entire staff has been so welcoming from the very beginning and truly made us feel like family. It means so much to know my children are in an environment where they are genuinely cared for, supported, and understood. Ms. Katie at front desk is also so welcoming and amazing. I am beyond grateful for everyone at this school. The snacks are well thought out, the nap time has created a routine at home when I didn't have one in place before, and my kids are happy to be there when I drop off which is huge for me as a mother. read more

We love this daycare. Both our kiddos attend different classes. Our twenty month old is thriving with Ms. Stefanie and Ms. Jordan. Our 3 year old has fun all day with friends and her teachers Ms. Lily, Ms. Abby and Ms. Sarah. The best sign, for how much fun they have, is when we pick them up and they don't want to leave! The classrooms are beautiful, clean and big! The teacher to kids ration is also very good and better than other daycares in the area. read more

The academy is well-run and up-to-date with their technology. Our family has had a wonderful experience at Knowledge Tree Children's Academy. My children absolutely love it there -- in fact, at pick-up time they often ask to stay longer, and then ask when they'll be going back again! That alone speaks volumes about the caring and engaging environment the school creates. The teachers are approachable, attentive, and genuinely care about the children. We've had the pleasure of working with Ms. Andy, Ms. Emma, Ms. Maria, and Ms. Tosha, and they have all been wonderful. My daughter has truly enjoyed being in their classes and has always felt supported and encouraged. My son was in Mr. Calvin's class this year, and he especially enjoyed working with Legos and learning how to use new robotic toys. It's clear that Mr. Calvin cares deeply about his students and creates a fun, hands-on learning environment that keeps the children excited about learning. Knowledge tree has been the perfect fit for our family! We relocated to the area and lucked out that they had availability for both our boys on the days we needed and were also able to accommodate my swing schedule which made life even easier! Our youngest had no experience with attending school and has adjusted very well and I think that is partly because of one of his awesome Teachers Teacher Jordan. He has a speech delay and she is so passionate about helping him thrive and takes the time to learn from others speech therapists to better help kiddos like mine. His other teachers are just as amazing and celebrate him learning a new word and making sure I hear the amazing progress (it was a huge concern of mine sending him with a speech delay). Our eldest had been attending preschool for a few weeks already where we lived previously so I was less concerned about his adjustment but I was concerned about him napping as that is a requirement and at his old school he would skip naps, that concern was quickly relieved when his teachers told me he was actually napping and one of the first to fall asleep. He is especially fond of one of his teachers Miss Lily and I am too. We both work which is why they go to school which means when they have field trips we can't take them and recently they went on one and Miss Lily drove some of the kids including ours which I was incredibly nervous about since we had never had anyone else drive our children. Miss Lily made sure we knew where they were, was understanding of our concerns and assured us he was in good hands which he absolutely was. He loves miss Lily so much he wants to invite her to his birthday party. Overall, we have had a great experience so far. It was rough the first few weeks attending as we were getting hit with illness after illness but I think that was more to do with our youngest never being in a school environment before and putting everything in his mouth catching every bug possible but that's how that goes anywhere. We've been going here for years and we love it. The staff have always been so good to my kids and my kids have made some of the most special friendships. They've been through 3 directors since we've been going to KTCA, and Erica is the best yet. Very rude and disrespectful! I called over the phone in order to register my son and showed up for the tour. And before walking the tour she reassured me of having a spot for my son. But when i handed her my papers and talked about my payment options. She goes like, we filled the spot, sorry! Im like what? I already gave my 2 week notice and considered them but they are indeed discriminative. I will not have this go smooth! ***** There was no misunderstanding at all! It was very obvious thing from your end! I would not have spent time or came for a tour if i was not told you HAVE the spot! And upon arriving i was reassured again there is a spot! Both of my children attended Knowledge Tree and we are very happy with the experience. The facility is clean and beautiful. My kids adore their teachers! My son was extremely active and had hard time sitting still at circle time. Teacher Sara and Erica were extremely patient with him and always used positive discipline to redirect him. We could see that the teachers really care and love the children. The daily activities were well prepared and both of my kids enjoyed learning. We had hard time getting them to leave the center at the end of the day. Now my son is at public school and we really miss the attention and care he has been getting at Knowledge Tree. He talked us he want go back to knowledge tree many time when he just in elementary school . He loves his teacher. read more

This child care/school facility is a great con for the Rocklin area. They promise the education and care to be 5-star. My grand child was there and every time I went to her up their security was a joke. Never did it worked correctly, but the staff, whether I knew me or not, would say it's all right just go in. One day I was driving by and thought I will go check on my grandchild. Apparently she had fallen off of a 6 foot slide from the very top and hit every stair down with her face and body and they neglected to call and talk to her mother directly or call the emergency contact. It was a blessing that I stopped that day and noticed that she didn't recognize me. It was a brand new employee that took me to the side and said she had a horrible fall. For a moment I thought how bad could a fall be since they are only allowed in the play area in the infant play structure ? The tallest slide there was maybe 2 feet and tons of foam! Apparently they had my grand child that could walk, but could Climb in the big kids play area. My grandchild had climbed up the tallest slide (minimum 6 feet) and fell down and smashed her face on every step. The facial bruses are forever on her face. If it wasn't for one honest employee I would have not known and I called her mother immediately. I spoke directly to the teacher and she was having me play guessing games to If this happened and where. This school did not call the emergency contact and did not let anyone know the severity of this emergency. If I hadn't shown up would they have told anybody? The accident had happened over an hour from when I saw her. They left a message indicating she fell in the infant yard. That she seemed fine. It's the law if a baby falls from a certain height they must call 911 and they didn't. Were they trying to cover up theirs mistake ??? I think so!!! Since this was not the first safety mishap of a child being hurt in the wrong play yard at this place. Anyhow she was rushed to Kaiser, I should've called an ambulance from their facility. Kaiser immediately took her without documents as she was semi-unconscious. Kaiser took pictures and called the police immediately. A negligence report was written. It has been several years and now I'm allowed to speak my mind because the lawsuit has prevailed. I would not trust the school they do not keep an eye on the children and they lie by omission. If I needed to place my child I would look into the background of how many children have been hurt by neglect, it is public record. All you people that write the wonderful ratings ... check the public records they don't lie. I truly can't wait to see what they will write me about this incident. I found this daycare and secured a spot for my child when I was only 4 months pregnant. I had heard stories about how daycares can fill up quickly and how important it is to secure a spot early on, so that's why I was so on top of it. I paid the enrollment fee and had an anticipated start date of November 1, 2019. I went to the school a couple weeks ago (September 2019) to drop off my enrollment paperwork, only to see the hours of operation had changed from 6 AM to 6:30 AM. One of the main reasons I chose this daycare center was because I start work early and therefore would need to drop my daughter off right at 6 AM. I spoke to a man at the front desk and asked if Crystal, the director, could contact me. She didn't call me back (not the first time I had to follow up), so I called her and asked if the hours had truly changed. When I toured the facility and put a deposit down, the center opened at 6 AM. Crystal stated they had changed the hours (no one thought to notify me-I guess because my daughter hadn't started?), but was going to contact the owner and see if they could get a teacher to come in at 6. I figured the likelihood of this happening was slim, so I asked her to let me know right away so I could make other arrangements if the owner didn't approve it. I then heard nothing for a week. I called back and Crystal said she didn't have my number (even though I had turned in my enrollment packet and they had called me before) to notify me that the owner wouldn't approve a teacher coming in at 6, but she would approve someone coming in at 6:15. It's almost laughable. I asked for my enrollment fee to be refunded, which they did, but only after I hadn't received the check in the mail in a week so I again called to follow up. The communication is extremely poor here. I just have to remind myself this is a business ($$$) and everything happens for a reason. I found daycare center I actually like more now that I'm a mom, so I'm happy. But I still felt I needed to write this honest review s *Update- after the directors response, I do think it is important to reiterate the center had my number but didn't contact me to notify me that their hours had changed. They called me when my daughter was a month old and asked for the enrollment paperwork, and I told them I would submit it after she received her two month shots. I went to the center to drop off my paperwork and that's when I noticed the hours had changed. Communication is extremely lacking. And the only solution that would've worked for my family was having a teacher come in at 6, but the owner wouldn't approve that. They would approve 6:15 though... I also had to call them a week later to find out myself they couldn't accommodate my request. I can't stress how important communication is especially when you're trusting someone with your child. I'm so grateful to have both my children at this school. My oldest started when she turned 2 and has been there for almost 3 years. They now have an infant and a toddler classroom so my youngest is in the toddler room. The staff is amazing, the chef deserves an award for all the amazing healthy quality meals she prepares ( the kids eat every meal served in full), the field trips are fabulous ( my 4 yr old has one every month), the facility is impeccable ( any kid would dream to go here), it's safe, clean, not too crowded, and amazing hours that you won't find elsewhere. Communication is great. I love the kids reports they send you daily that includes what they did for the day with photos of them, food reports, diaper or potty reports ( if applicable), and there's nothing better than your kids saying they don't want to leave because they are having so much fun. My daughter last year was counting in mandarin as she took each step upstairs. Frank does a great job teaching them mandarin. They have the coolest little kitchen/ dining room where the kids learn to cook different types of food from All over the world and then get to eat it. They are very culturally enriched with all Aspects of learning. Our kids' safety is top priority, they always communicate with ouch reports or I get a phone call if it's worse or sick( kids are kids), but I always know they are in great hands. I've contemplated putting a review on here for years only because I didn't want it to get too crowded. This place is unbelievable. My kids have learned far more than I thought kids could learn at their age. Worth every penny. Although it isn't cheap. You definitely get what you pay for. Yes they are a new school so they did have a few teachers that had come and gone which I wasn't a fan of, but thankfully it was very brief and my kids love their teachers so much. The kids are all friends outside of school too so it's really fun to go to their birthday parties and events and see how happy they all are together. read more

Super disappointed! I saw the event posted on fb. I came to the free event that was on 6.16.18. I came with my 3 kids to check it out. I had my baby in a stroller and my other 2 walked by me. The ladies up front saw me coming you would think they would open the door for you bc you have a stroller. Nope thru just stood there and smiled. The place seemed cleaned and I did want more info here. They seemed fake nice. They said they would email me info and never did. As I left still they didn't help open the door but a lady who was coming in (not a staff member) helped which was nice! I looked at a lot of other pre-schools in the area before enrolling my son at Knowledge Tree Children's Academy. I visited Knowledge Tree Children's Academy in May even before it was opened and it always stood out in my mind and every other pre-school I visited I always compered it to Knowledge Tree Children's Academy. It was my first choice from the first minute I walked in. I really like their program, it's a bit different from other preschool programs but I believe it's more effective and interesting to kids. Their Staff is fantastic!!! Their very professional and friendly, I really like their approach to the kids and parents. My son (as this was his first time away from me) was having a hard time, but the Director (Ms. Krista) was amazing with him, very patient and sweet which helped him feel more relaxed. She then introduced him to his teacher and class friends, helped him feel more comfortable and willing to stay. Not sure what the previous reviewer is referring to, but since my son has been at Knowledge Tree Children's Academy every event that has been schedule has taken place. My son has often done outdoor water play and has been to the scheduled field trips. He loves to ride on school bus. As for the looks of the school, like the earlier reviewer said it looks AMAZING!!! Really like a miniature wonderland for kids. It is very clean, spacious and very well organized. Love the outdoor playground which is covered and keeps the kids out the sun hot and keeps their play structures cool :) read more

I highly recommend this school. My daughter has been at Knowledge Tree for two full years now, starting at 3 years old. The growth and development I have seen from her since switching from her in home daycare are incredible. The commutation throughout the days and weeks through the kids report app far exceed my expectations as a parent to stay connected to what my child is doing under their care, in addition to emails, ouchy reports, and always being available to talk when ever there is a question or concern. Communication has been especially impressive when concerning the pandemic. They go above and beyond to communicate with families and adjust to ever changing circumstances. The staff members are so friendly and make it a point to connect with each student. I see this at pick ups and drop offs. I could go on and on but I will lastly say, the school and my daughters teachers, again, went above and beyond when my daughter was faced with unexpected health issues. The care and concern, coupled with their willingness and ability to accommodate her new needs have been greatly appreciated. I am a mom who has undergone terrible depression and anxiety and even though I have survived through it, prying my daughter way from me has been the hardest thing I could ever do. I wish that I could give a better review to this preschool. I enrolled my little one not long after it first opened. I was referred to the school by a friend who's child had already been attending, and for a while I was super impressed. I'll start with the positives - its location is great (in Rocklin right down the street from Strikes). The curriculum of the school is unique and effective, and our child loves it. The teachers are amazing. I've met and interacted with all of them and I couldn't be happier with how they have treated my child and the hospitality and kindness I've received from every one of them. The inside of the school is the most surprising part - if I had pictures I would share them. It gives off vibes of being in a sort of mini Disneyland! I do have to reluctantly voice my concerns that have developed over the time my child has been enrolled. There has been no consistency or follow through with anything that was promised in the advertising when this school opened nor the calendars that the director has sent home with us. On a frequent basis, we have been told that special events will happen and then mysteriously don't. I will tell my kid there will be a bounce house on the coming Friday, and it won't happen. I will tell my kid they will be playing outside with water, and it won't happen. It was advertised as well as we were told that there would be field trips all Summer, which has not happened. Often there is not even anyone at the front desk when we arrive, making an awkward and inconvenient situation. Furthermore, the lack of consistency is every more prevalent with the kids' classes. The director for some reason thinks it is a good idea to frequently move the kids from teacher to teacher with no sort of rhyme or reason. As much as I appreciate all of the teaching staff at this school, I would prefer my child stick with the teacher they started with, with whom they developed a bond and with whom they are most comfortable. I truly wish the circumstances were better. Unfortunately this school has some growing to do, but it is not growing fast enough. We have come to love the teachers but I need to have my child enrolled at a preschool with consistency and better direction. read more

I absolutely love this place! I was given a tour by Ms. Krista and my daughters absolutely fell in love with everything! The layout of the daycare is perfect. My 6 year old is a little shy and never likes to be away from me for any given amount of time, and takes a while for her to get used to anyone, but Ms. Krista was very patient with her and both my daughters absolutely love her. I think she has really done well with this place and had really dedicated her time into making The Knowledge Tree Academy is a wonderful place for children to learn. I found knowledge tree online and the first time I visited it I was impressed! I knew that knowledge tree was the perfect place for my son! I love that they do a lot of science and research. Currently have my child going to pre k here and he loves it! I love it, I currently have my infant going to kindercare and as soon as they open the infant program I'm switching him to knowledge tree it's CLEAN, calm, and has an amazing staff! They have a kitchen, craft room, and always going on field trips the curriculum is outstanding he comes home telling me things I wouldn't thing he would be learning yet it's over all an amazing place. Crystal "front desk" is awesome and so much help! Oh! Our son had serious separation anxiety and after a at home day care called us to pick him up and that he could not return we immediately looked for another daycare. We we're having a hard time ourselves with putting him in any child care because he was just so upset and would cry and wouldn't want to even get in the car.. it was hard on everyone. That is until we enrolled Logan into Knowledge Tree.. all the teachers have been absolutely amazing especially his teacher Ms Tesla.. now we can drop him off and know he'll have a great day with friends! And all the staff. His teacher is nothing less then a blessing without her amount of patience, love, care and compassion she has for all the children this transition would not have happened. Not to mention Alyssa and Crystal who run the front office they always so pleasant to speak with. Our son talks more and makes friends in a healthy environment. read more
