After 41 years in healthcare and frequent use of hand sanitizer I am veryvdifficult to get finger prints on, (my job requires them every 2 years to renew me). The sheriff cant get them electronically, the state can't get them in ink but this gal gets them first time every time. I wouldn't go anywhere else to get printed she is that good at it. If you need good clean prints, aren't looking for spa style pampering or hoping to make a new bff out of the clerk to tell all of your personal drama to... this eclectic place delivers clean prints done right the first time. This is the worst place. It's basically somebody's old dirty house filled with a variety of random Asian junk. The lady working there was rude and seemed annoyed that I was interrupting the TV show that she was watching when I came in for fingerprints. They are cash only (which seems fitting for such a shady operation) and I ended up leaving before having my fingerprints done because of how bad it was. Go to Passport Immigration Photos on NW Broadway instead. It also seems shady, but at least the people working there are friendly and professional. read more

The girl at the desk was rude, angry and hostile from the second I stepped in the door. That may be the biggest understatement of any review I've ever written. She wouldn't even look at me as she barked instructions at me. When I asked her why she was so angry, a kindly old lady approached me and tried to smooth things over, saying, "don't worry. It's okay, she's not really mad at you." The girl responded by yelling, "don't talk about me in front of people, mother!" I feel bad for the older lady that runs (owns?) the place, but I could never feel comfortable allowing someone that hostile to touch my hands or handle sensitive documents. No. Way. There are numerous other places close by that will do cheap fingerprints. I only came here because it was just a few blocks from where I live. I don't care if a place is sketchy. I wouldn't even care if the people working there are DMV-level rude/indifferent, or not especially helpful. I know the drill. I'm very practical and patient. I don't expect people in these positions to love their jobs. But rude is one thing, hateful is another. And I will not do business with someone who is such a disrespectful jerk that they actually yell at their mother in front of a customer. What the heck is this place? Fingerprinting? Yes. Notary? Yup. Off-brand weight-loss pills? Sure, why not. Quirky Asian decor? Yeah, they've got it all. I came here because I needed fingerprinting done, and they did a great job. Only $15 for a set of prints, which is about as good a price as you'll find. You have to pay with cash, but that's a minor inconvenience for the low cost and lighting fast speed. I think I was honestly in and out in less than 5 minutes. Customer service left a little to be desired, hence the less than perfect rating. That said, if all you need is fingerprinting or notary services, you can probably look past 5-10 minutes of less than ideal service. All in all, this place is fine. Weird, but fine. If I need fingerprints again in the near future, I'll probably be back here to have them done. read more

Wow. First off the woman running this business made me wait until she was done with her game on her phone RUDE. I went there for a finger print card for 8.00. I had multiple papers showing the cards were 8.00. She has me fill it out and as I handed her two 5.00 bills (ever cent I had) she said 20.00. I showed her the paper from Multnomah county stating 8.00. She says "oh nonono that's like 12 years old".. Then why is it updated ????? Why let it say 8.00 and not change it like everywhere else did?? She was rude. It was filthy there and I recommend giong the extra mile to the next place for 10.00. She has my personal information which by the feel and looks of the place makes me very uncomfortable. I do not recommend. read more

This place is a joke. The customer service is non existent and the smell is truly putrid. I went to get my passport photo done, but when I was turning in the application at the county office I was told the photo I got done does not meet standards. I called to tell them the photos that they had done and I paid for could not be used. The lady on the phone was completely unprofessional even saying that "I had gone to the wrong place to turn in my application" (seriously?!!!). She then proceeded to hang up on me. My father went in with the pictures and demanded a refund, but they acted extremely rude and refused. Do NOT come here for passport photos. read more

Worst experience with any service professional. I was in there for a total of 1 minute before I was refused to be allowed to have a passport photo done, all because my hair is blue. The unpleasant and rude desk lady asked me patronizingly if I've ever had a passport photo taken before since "no place would let you take a passport photo with hair like that." She should have done her research before discriminating against me since, according to the U.S. Passport Service, "Anything that alters your appearance enough to make it look as if the person in your current passport photo is not the person standing before the immigration agent will require a new passport." The last time I checked, hair color not naturally colored does not change the way your face or general appearance looks. I walked out feeling baffled and confused, but now I have clarity and will take my needs somewhere more friendly and professional. read more

Just about anything you need you can get there. It's an odd collection of things but it works if you've ever been to Asia you'll recognize it! Prints are quick and inexpensive, maybe 5 minutes and $15. Only bad thing is that it's cash only. read more

So this place seems SOOOOO sketchy. But I had two people recommend it to me, and I needed to get some fingerprints done in a hurry and most importantly, correctly. So then of course I showed up without all the right paperwork! The lady firmly, but helpfully, told me what to get and to come back when I had everything. It kinda reminded me of that Seinfeld episode, 'no soup for you!' But I came back with all the right paperwork, she did a great job, my fingerprints were accepted with no problems, and it was only like $20. I think when you need something like fingerprints that can be SUCH a pain if they aren't done correctly then you almost need someone who is very strict and straightforward to do it. She ain't messing around! And yes, like in the other review, there is no sink to wash off the ink. But she does put on some goop and gives you a paper towel afterwards, and it comes right off. I regret so much that didnt come here to read first. Who could imagine any photo taking business can't really take photo that simply gives enough light on the faces. How can this kind of place exist. She never showed any professionism. No smile or any relaxed expression. The requirement is you can't have shadow on face. most of our face ended up in shadow. Our pictures are so dark that the white background is light blue. I used to work to take people's applications for 2 years and never saw any picture like this! read more

Giving this place a 1 star is being too generous. The lady that works there is literally the most rude and unprofessional person I have met. She didn't acknowledge my presence when I walked in and snapped at me for any questions I had. She doesn't give any eye contact and has a permanent angry face on her, all while doing everything in a harsh manner. I question how people like that even work with people if they hate them. The fingerprints she did were invalid and after I paid $52 for them to get checked, I got a letter saying I needed to redo my fingerprints. Waste of my money and time. read more
