Every teacher he's had has been warm, caring, and attentive, but we especially want to give a huge shoutout to Ms. Bri. Our son adores her! Communication is great, both from teachers and management. The teachers do a great job sending out updates and photos via their app. The activities they plan are thoughtful, creative, and perfectly tailored to his age. We've loved watching him grow in his learning, his words, and his play. What sealed the deal for us during our initial tour at Goddard was a moment I'll never forget. I was an absolute wreck, just not ready to hand my baby over to strangers. Sensing my anxiety, the infant teacher, Ms. Jess, gently pulled me aside, gave me the warmest hug, and promised me that my son would be in the best hands with her and her fellow infant teacher (Ms. Bri). In that moment, she made me feel like family. Her kindness and reassurance brought me so much peace, and I'll always be grateful to her for that. If you're reading this and considering Goddard for childcare, go take a tour and meet the teachers. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine love for what they do will instantly put you at ease and give you confidence that your child will be in the best hands.

She is in the toddler class with Ms. Bri and is always so excited to go to school. Bri is so warm and loving and provides such a safe and fun environment for my daughter. She communicates extremely well and sends lot of cute photos throughout the day. It's always hard sending your kiddo to school not knowing how they will adjust - even if it's the 3rd time you've done it! So seeing them excited at school is so reassuring as a parent. My middle child just moved up to PreK with one of our favorite teachers, Ms. Nicci! My oldest had her a few different times while she was at Goddard and we are so excited to be back in her class. She really knows how to run a classroom with bigger kids where they get to learn and have fun without too much chaos. I know how hard that is with a bunch of 4 & 5 year olds!

Our 4 year old has learned so much and loves going to "school"! Preschool teachers Miss Savannah and Miss Ashlyn are awesome and is a big reason our daughter loves it there, she comes home talking about them all the time. Miss Yolie and Miss Alexis take great care of our daughter in the infant room and send the sweetest pictures and updates. I'd highly recommend LSP Val Vista.

There's a real curriculum and structure, but the teachers weave so much genuine play and joy into everything the kids do. And the cleanliness? Top-notch. But what really keeps us coming back is the relationships. Our son started with Hannah, and they clicked instantly. Years later, our daughter had that same connection with her right away. Both kids have also been absolutely obsessed with Betsy and Fanny and they light up when they talk about them. We've also gotten to know some of the newer assistants like Kate and Ashlyn, and they've built such genuine bonds with both our kids. What impressed us most, though, is how the front office, Kim and Mon especially, make you feel genuinely cared for. We know turnover happens in daycares, and this team handles it really well. Because they're part of a larger network across multiple locations, teachers can transition between centers seamlessly. The kids often already know them or the teachers are deeply trained on the curriculum and processes, so they can jump right in and focus on what matters: the kids. That eases a lot of the uncertainty parents usually feel during transitions. The whole team makes you feel at home. That matters so much when you're trusting someone with your kids.

Unfortunately, the experience after the tour has been extremely disappointing. I was told I would receive information and a link to complete the enrollment packet online, but months have gone by without any follow-up. There is no enrollment link or clear instructions on the website, making it impossible for families to even begin the process on their own. I made numerous attempts to call, only to encounter full voicemail boxes and no response. After finally reaching someone at the front desk, I explained that I had been waiting for months and still had no way to complete the enrollment packet or know whether my son had even been placed on the waiting list. I was assured that someone would contact me and send the information, but once again, nothing happened. As a parent of a child with autism, I understand that waiting lists exist, but communication and follow-through are essential. Families seeking services for their children are already navigating enough challenges and should not have to spend months chasing basic information. The lack of communication and poor customer service throughout this process have been extremely frustrating and inconsiderate of families' time. I am sharing my experience because I believe other parents deserve to know what to expect. While the tour left me with hope, the lack of responsiveness afterward has left me questioning whether this is the right environment for my child. I sincerely hope Hope Academy improves its communication and enrollment process so that other families do not experience the same difficulties.

I had mixed feelings about Hope Academy. There were definitely things I liked, but something…read morehappened that really changed my opinion. Toward the end, I became very upset and decided to withdraw my son before the school year even started. The reason? They made major decisions about his placement without ever consulting me. Initially, my son was placed in a higher-functioning class. He faced some challenges, but I truly believe now that those struggles weren't his fault. During the summer--after his IEP meeting--they made an executive decision to move him into a much lower-functioning class without my knowledge or input. While I have nothing but love and respect for the students in that class, it simply wasn't the right educational environment for my son, Logan. He was already falling behind when he started at Hope, and instead of collaborating with me, they assured me he'd "go at his own pace." That wasn't good enough, especially after being excluded from decisions that directly affected him. I chose to pull him out and enroll him in 8th grade at American Leadership Academy. Fast forward: he just finished his first term of 9th grade with a 3.85 GPA, taking Algebra, Biology, Dual Enrollment classes, ASL, and more. Transferring him out of Hope Academy was absolutely the right choice--he finally has a real chance to thrive.
