This school has touched our hearts in so many ways. Our daughter has come home learning everything from colors, manners, numbers, Spanish, songs, and her social emotional skills have SKY ROCKETED. I was terrified to put my daughter In school as a first time mom. I actually couldn't handle the anxiety so I pulled her out after I was sobbing all day the first day she was gone. Well, penny and the staff were not only empathetic but made me feel comfortable doing things on my own time table. So when I decided to try again a week later I was welcomed with open arms. The quality of the teachers here feels more like a family. Everyone in the school helps each other. Miss Jazzy, Miss Caitlin, really every single teacher I have ever met has made me feel like home. They all know your child and love your child. Miss Wulan and Miss Ann Marie were her home room teachers and wow. These woman.. they don't make them like this anymore! Positive, loving, personal, engaged are only a few ways to describe them. They have been absolutely instrumental to Logan's growth and experience. She has thrived and become a social butterfly. These teachers never look tired and are always up beat. Ms Chrystal at the front desk always welcomes you with warmth and familiarity and never judged how many incident reports my daughter had. I was always met with comfort and understanding whenever I was worried about something my Daughter had done! And the school is owned and managed by Penny who is a GEM of a human being. These women are loving, smart, and are valued so much. They deserve the world and I'm so grateful to have found them. I'm forever in debt to this school and all it has done for myself and my daughter. Also, they know how much I love them and never once asked for a review. We absolutely love The Goddard School of Gilbert (at East Germann). Even though there were a few options closer to us, we chose this preschool because the atmosphere here just felt different, in the best way. From the very first visit, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. You can tell the team really loves what they do. Our main teacher is always so happy around the children, you can feel her joy, and it really stood out compared to other places we toured. All the teachers are kind and smiling, and they take the time to connect with both the children and the parents. It's such a warm, supportive environment. Literally everyone is so nice! Another huge factor for us was safety and peace of mind. As a parent, being able to drop off your child without worrying is everything, and this preschool makes that possible. The classroom ratios are low, the environment is always clean, the sign-in process is secure, and they're thoughtful about food and nutrition. We've also had no issues with recurring colds or back-to-back illnesses, which has been such a relief. All of that makes a big difference. They've also been incredibly flexible, willing to work with us to make sure our child feels comfortable, whether that means bringing a favorite stuffy from home or making food & drink accommodations. They even have an easy, healthy lunch ordering system, which has been such a plus for our busy mornings. There are always fun activities and themes planned, plus special events like Splash Days and the petting zoo! We get daily updates (naps, meal times) and photos, which we look forward to every day. Our child is always excited to go, and it's clear the other children are happy too. This location has such a cozy, close-knit feel, and the whole team is just wonderful. We're so thankful we found this place, it truly feels like a second home. This review is overdue! I can't say enough good things about Goddard on East Germann. From the day of our tour, Ms. Penny made time to meet with us and made us feel completely at ease. Being a first time parent and transitioning your child from being with you 24/7 to daycare is tough, for child and parent alike. What I found incredibly helpful was the time Ms. Penny took to answer all of our questions and make us feel confident in our decision. The transition was very smooth, our little one runs to the door every time we say it's time for school. He often just runs straight into the classroom, already busy playing, a true reflection of his teachers' supportive and caring nature. He is confident and at ease, and what's been most surprising is how much his knowledge and learning continue to expand. From watching him dance with his classmates to fun tunes, to seeing him replicate that at home, or hearing him point to our eyes and ears and say the words, every day feels like he develops a new skill. His vocabulary and social skills are both continuously growing. Although leaving your child to go to work never gets easier, I have full peace of mind knowing he is in the right hands. We are constantly updated with pictures and videos from his day, along with fun events, dress-up days, learning milestones, and classroom activities. They also have an amazing backyard with real grass for the kids to run around in, and even a splash area during the summer. All in all, I couldn't recommend Goddard on East Germann enough and am endlessly grateful to Ms. Penny, his teacher Ms. Sydni and the amazing teachers who care for our son. read more

I seriously could not be happier with this school, from the teachers and staff, to the education and facilities, I literally have zero complaints. We moved in September from California when my daughter was 2 1/2 and we had to find a pre-school. We were transitioning from having a full time nanny who had become part of the family, so it was already a difficult transition. We toured 6 different schools in the area, some I couldn't get out of fast enough, but when we found Goddard I knew instantly that it was the place for us. Our daughter struggled with the change the first week or so of school, but they were so amazing and sweet with her. They went above and beyond to make sure we were all comfortable. Such a wonderful school, highly recommended! Both my 1 and 3 year old enjoy going there. The school offers a great curriculum, with lots of fun, hands-on activities to engage children. I love that the there is constant communication with the teachers through the app; I can message the teachers directly and receive photos and videos of the kids through the day. Enrolling our daughter here was one of our best decisions! We were initially very nervous, given she was always at home with us, but that changed right away. She loves going to school and truly loves her teachers, Mrs. Wulan and Miss Callee (amazing, amazing duo! thanks for loving our daughter!). She asks for them by name every morning! She's learned so much with such broad vocabulary and has learned to be more social. They're currently working on potty training too! We have had our son at Goddard for close to 2 years (preschool and pre-K). He has had a wonderful experience and has grown and learned so much. He loves his pre-K Polar Bears classroom especially his teachers and classmates. We feel he is more than prepared for kindergarten with all he has learned academically and socially. read more

Can't say enough good things about the teachers, support staff and owner of this school. The teachers are highly skilled and and incredibly caring. We have had our daughter at this school for about a year, and in both of the classrooms she's been enrolled, she has had very attentive education and a caring and safe environment. Ms. Dawn always had super creative activities for the kids and was very attentive and positive. When she transitioned into the next classroom, her next group of teachers, Ms. Megan, Ms. Grace and Ms. Shay, were equally positive and involved. My daughter has attended The Goddard School for 8 months now, and we could not be happier to have found such a caring and fun environment for our little girl. My wife and I toured three other schools in the area, and we know we made the right choice. Staff- Really, this is probably the most important aspect for us. Our daughter is treated so well by the teachers, and the front office staff is very welcoming and helpful. The staff are nurturing and patient, and they genuinely seem happy to be at work each day. They also have a low teacher:child ratio. Curriculum- They offer sign language and Mandarin, as well as the building blocks of learning such as reading, writing, math, etc. Facility- The building is very clean, easy to access, and parking is ample. The classrooms are alive with student artwork and happy students engaged in learning through play. A few extras: Unlike some other area preschools, we have the option of bringing our own food or purchasing the catered lunch options. This is a great benefit for us because our daughter has some dietary restrictions so we appreciate that flexibility. The playground is much nicer than others we have seen. It is safe and clean, and the kids have a blast playing outside when weather permits. During the summer months, when it is too hot be outside much of the day, they have 'water' days which mean varied activities depending on the age group. read more

My wife and I signed up our 4 year old last month and she has been attending The Goddard School now for a little over 1 month. I am VERY VERY impressed with this school and recommend it for any parent and below are the reasons why: 1. Teachers The teachers are amazing and the ratio of children to teachers is much better and manageable as opposed to the last daycare our daughter went to. They also are educated and have their degree's and this is very important for me to leave my daughter with them. 2. Cleanliness The school is very clean, both indoor and outdoor. The bathrooms are clean and I havent noticed anything dirty about the school. 3. Education My daughter gets the education that she was lacking at other schools here at The Goddard School! The first week she attended she was talking to me about the planets in our solar system and even last week she was talking to me about plants. In just one month I have a little 4 year old girl who is on her way to becoming an Astronomer with a green thumb and that pleases both my wife and I VERY VERY MUCH! 4. Activities The activities the children do are excellent. They get to work out, do yoga and my daughter is even involved in dance lessons and gets to do a recital this summer! The Goddard School is amazing! I have a 2 year old and a 3 year old that attend M-F. They are always happy when I pick them up and when I mention their teachers to them outside of school they always smile and have great things to say. I travel a lot for work and love receiving 5-10 pictures or videos of activities my kids are doing throughout the day. There is nothing better than getting picture of your child smiling and enjoying an art activity or a video of them singing a song with the group. The 3 year old class has a lot of structure and learning - I can't believe my kid can count to ten in Spanish. The 2 year old room provides a lot of love and getting the kids to play and interact with one another. This has been a perfect fit for my children and I couldn't imagine them any where else. I cannot say enough good things about this Goddard location. My daughter has been there since she was 2 and is now 5. She had such bad social anxiety and ALL of the teachers and staff there encouraged her and she's an entirely new person and ready for kinder! I feel so incredibly blessed to have found this school. We moved to the area in late February from WA State and toured multiple daycares/schools before choosing Goddard. My child has always been with a nanny so I was very nervous putting her into school for the first time. After my tour with Ms. Sylvia, I knew this is where I wanted my daughter to be. When she first started in March she was in the 1 year old Chimpanzee room (teachers were so kind and amazing) and now she is in the 2 year old Maccaw class with Ms. Wulan and Miss Callee. I visited and toured five preschools in my area. Goddard School did the best job of showing me what their school offered without making me feel pressured to enroll my son. Because my guy is an only child, we wanted him to attend preschool to be around kiddos his own age and have the chance to work on social skills. He attended Goddard School from the age of 2 1/2 - 5 years old. We've been thrilled with his time at Goddard School. Penny, the director, does a great job of being available for any positive or constructive feed back. I've seen her greet a gaggle of kiddos by name and she genuinely seems to enjoy her profession. One of the things that impressed me over the years was the consistency of teachers. This is not a school that gets a new batch of instructors every year. The teaching staff is made up of quality, highly educated and highly approachable individuals. The staff does a great job of growing academic as well as social skills. To this day, even in Kindergarten at a different school, my son will use some of the phrases and social graces he learned at Goddard School. This place is amazing! On our tour the owner Penny sat down with us and addressed all our questions, explained the policies and philosophies of the school and provided us with all the information we needed to decide if this was the right fit for our child. The minute the tour ended we knew this was the right place! We already felt like a part of the school community just from one visit. My daughter has been attending part time for a few months now and LOVES it! Her teachers, Danielle and Mia are fantastic. You can tell that they truly care about each one of their students. We are beyond happy with the school, staff and overall community. Our daughter is making friends, picking up so many new skills and truly enjoying her time away from us. One of our daughters attended this school from 3 years old through pre-k and the other attended for a year in the 2 year old class. We had a wonderful experience. The staff and parents are all incredibly low maintenance and have a "can do" attitude. The facility is bright, clean, and safe, located in a residential area and close to a fire station. My 5 year old was well prepared for kindergarten, reading beyond her age. She was even taught sign language and Spanish. Unfortunately we had to move our 2 year old to a different school due to the location of our kindergartener's school. We LOVE the Goddard School. Our son attended for two years (ages 1-3) until we moved out of state and we miss Goddard more than anything else in Arizona. The owner, director, and teachers were all loving and conscientious, making my son feel comfortable and at home every day. We decided to put our almost 2 year old in school and after weeks of searching and checking places out we fell in love with this Goddard location. Everyone is always welcoming and kind. It took our daughter a month of getting use to going to school but all the teachers and Ms. Crystal would help her feel comfortable. Now she loves going and we definitely see her going to school is paying off. Her social skills, talking, and playing with others have improved. Both my boys attended Goddard and we were extremely pleased with our experience. The teachers are the heart of their program. My boys were always well cared for and were taught lessons that helped them form a strong social, emotional, and educational foundation. The facility for learning was top notch! During our tenure there, they added promethean boards to two classrooms, they added a splash pad for the summer months, and they added an online communication system that provided daily information, pictures and video of my their day. And finally, the best part about Goddard were all the sweet children my boys got to meet. The owners provide numerous activities that allowed us to build a community. Much better than other Goddard schools in Gilbert. This one is run really well, by people who really know what they are doing. The teachers are good, and they send you pictures of your child throughout the day so you can actually see what they are doing, and know that they are being taken care of. The director, Ms Stacey, is great, she has her MS degree and is really knowledgeable about child development and education. Ms Penny (owner) is really nice and great to work with as well. We had our child at the other Goddard on Higley, this one is run so much better by people who actually know what they are doing. This is what a preschool should be. read more
