We were hoping the game would have been done by the time we left the bar we came from but... ... so, we got into our seats. Like other passengers, they were curious how the game was going so any of them streamed the game on their phones. As our plane pulled back and waited for further instructions, Spain scored. And the plane went wild. But there was still a few minutes, I noticed our plane moved so slowly across the tarmac. I'm not sure if this was deliberate, but the game ended before we took off with Spain taking the big prize. Everyone in the flight were in cheers, and someone even yelled, "Thank you to the pilot!" in Spanish. We all laughed it up and applauded. If it was deliberate, he had a whole flight appreciating it. An hour into the 3+ hour flight, I felt like a snack. I've been nothing but curious about the cup-o-noodle combo. (It's popular, I've seen many people order this on each Mexico flight I've been on.) So I got it mainly out of curiosity. Eh. It was alright. It got too salty in the end. Good thing for the Sprite as it tamed that down. Not a fan, overall, but at least I'm curious no more. The plus side is they give you a Wi-Fi password with your order. It's too bad the signal was choppy. Hit and miss at best. The flight was okay overall. It was smooth for the most part. We were comfortable. But the best thing out of it: we didn't have to wait to arrive to LAX to find out who won the world cup. That will always be the one committed to memory whenever I think of this airline.

We got to the gate at 10:47pm since e we're the last group, and Pedro Ricoy, closed the door to our faces. He was not helpful and literally told us "well, you missed the flight by a minute". He was very unprofessional and was not trying to help us. All he kept saying was "buy another flight". Aeromexico is a good airline, but with this, I am not flying with them again. It cost me $500 dollars extra just to stay the night and book a new flight. I hope they fire Pedro and hire people that actually know how to work customer service.

I couldn't believe that last part and it's the main reason I'm writing this review. It's airline food and you shouldn't get your hopes up too high but it was nice to get a sandwich, a small dessert, and decent coffee without having to order it. It's been 20+ years since I've flown this airline but my recent experience was positive and I wouldn't have a problem flying this airline again. If you're planning on bringing a carry on, be prepared to have it weighed and if it's heavier than 10-11kg you're going to need to check it in.

Whoa, this airport is busy!…read more Hubbers and I had a few hours' layover and talk about perfect timing - we arrived right at the beginning of the of the FIFA World Cup final (Argentina vs Spain) so our immediate goal is to find a bar to watch it! I did a little trek in the general area we were in. Like mentioned earlier, this airport is busy due to the Sunday crowd of passengers coming and going through. But it wasn't uncomfortable or anything like that. As crowded as it was, there was still plenty of space to maneuver around everyone. I noticed how generally clean it is. I don't even remember seeing any clutter anywhere. They must have staff making it remains as so. Structure is very modern, high ceilings are always good. Plenty of choice for eateries as well as stores for souvenirs. Good first run. Wouldn't mind coming through here again.

The international security is now on top while the domestic security is near the ticket agents. Security is easy. No need to take off shoes or remove electronics. Just remember to pack your Mexican cheese in your suitcase and not in your carryon bag or it will be removed. The upper level is newer as it has been remodeled. There are a lot of stores and restaurants. Going to the A gates still sucks as you either have to walk on the tarmac or take a bus to get on an airplane. There's a kid playground and plenty of seating to catch a breather

This is by far the worst service I have ever experienced with any rental car company. I have rented…read morecars from many providers, including Hertz/Dollar for the past 25 years and this one is by far the worst. I reserved a mid size SUV prior to my arrival at a cost of $347.41. Upon arriving the agent stated the car I reserved was not available and proceeded to force me to accept a compact SUV priced 32% higher!!! My family and our luggage would not fit in the compact SUV, hence the reason I reserved the mid size. In addition, the agent proceeded to add full coverage insurance which was to increase my rental to $1,200!!! Ridiculous!!!! If I refuse the coverage then I needed to leave a $4,000 security deposit through my credit card. Unacceptable! I spent the better part of an hour renegotiating to little avail. At the end of the experience I received the original reserved vehicle. The full coverage insurance was reduced to basic coverage and my rental cost increased to $461.54. I contacted Dollar corporate to file a complaint and request assistance with honoring the original quote. Dollar corporate was of no help citing that the location in Guadalajara is a franchisee; any rental charge dispute had to be directed to the local office directly. This is a joke to say the least as the local office is where the shake down occurred. I hope some folks read this review and think twice about renting from Hertz/Dollar in Guadalajara Airport. This place is a rip off! Don't expect them to honor a reservation quote.

We had to change our pick up times several times and he was nothing but gracious and accommodating to our last minute changes. We always felt safe with him and he always drove with care.
