We had a good flight from Mexico City to Guadalajara. Decided to go to the VIP lounge for dinner and a drink. Doors were at 10:35pm, flight 774 to Tijuana. We got to the gate at 10:47pm since e we're the last group, and Pedro Ricoy, closed the door to our faces. He was not helpful and literally told us "well, you missed the flight by a minute". He was very unprofessional and was not trying to help us. All he kept saying was "buy another flight". Aeromexico is a good airline, but with this, I am not flying with them again. It cost me $500 dollars extra just to stay the night and book a new flight. I hope they fire Pedro and hire people that actually know how to work customer service. read more

We purchased our ticket through Delta but flew on Aeromexico out of Guadalajara. The check-in process was easy, I didn't have any hidden charges, the leg room and seat width were adequate, and get this...they served food. I couldn't believe that last part and it's the main reason I'm writing this review. It's airline food and you shouldn't get your hopes up too high but it was nice to get a sandwich, a small dessert, and decent coffee without having to order it. It's been 20+ years since I've flown this airline but my recent experience was positive and I wouldn't have a problem flying this airline again. If you're planning on bringing a carry on, be prepared to have it weighed and if it's heavier than 10-11kg you're going to need to check it in. read more

It takes me 3 flights to get from point a to point b. And every time I've flown Aeromexico, I have been thoroughly impressed. (I've used them more than Alaska Airlines, and I have fam in AK!) The flight attendants are always wonderfully laid back and accepting. Once they close the doors, they let you move to different seats, sit closer or farther to your fam. There's only been one flight I didnt have the entire row to myself- major commercial airlines, that never happens. Plus, free booze, free inflight movies, free food. Can't go wrong with that! But when something does go wrong, in my experience, the employees are absolutely amazing, accomplishing remedies others can only dream of! It seems their baggage check process might be more secure than other airlines too, but I'll never know. I am strictly a carry on gal. read more

Rude rude rude. They made me loose my flight after I got there on time. Almost 2hrs waiting to check in only to get told sorry your flight is closed. No good customer service at all. They let 3 employees leave while there was a long ass line and left us with 2 employees checking in more then 100 people. After that a supervisor had the audacity to say why didn't a light bulb turn on for you. How am I suppose to see red flags if your own employees told me I am fine in line just wait After knowing where I was flying to. The light bulbs should have been turned on by them and helped me instead of leaving me for dead. Rude rude rude. Good customer service is dead here. Lo que me dio más cólera y me malogró mi vida fue cuando unas de las "supervisoras" tuvo el descaro de decir me "por qué no se te prendió el foco" perdón pero eso no se le dice a un cliente que pago por su boleto como todo el mundo. I don't even want to give 1 star, I would not recommend. I had a flight to California from Guadalajara and Aeromexico would not accept my antigen test (which was negative) and completed the day before. There was an Aeromexico employee that greeted me when I got off of my connecting flight, looked at the papers and said everything looked good and directed me to my departure gate. Showing up an hour early for boarding they said "you cannot travel" when I turned in my test results (again negative). There after they ignored me while boarding the entire plane. Keep in mind they were allowing people on who were coughing continuously. As a Caucasian gay male I have never felt this discriminated against ever. They threw my results on the floor which had personal information on it. They pulled the rope closed in front of me and opening a different line to allow other passengers on. They said I would need to go across the street and get a new Covid test which I had to pay for. Meanwhile they had all of my immigration paperwork I had to ask for it back multiple times. After looking at the results for the test they charged me for it was the exact same antigen test I tried to turn in at the gate. They then told me they couldn't get me to my destination and it took another hour just to get my immigration papers that are required at the gate. Unfortunately I am spending the night at the Burger King because I couldn't even get through the check point. read more

DO NOT FLY THIS AIRLINE. WORST EVER! Upon check in they changed my son's last name and made me buy another ticket. I explained to them thERE Was no way I made the mistake and that their internet server stopped serval times on Me. They did not care. Then they charged me extra for my child's car seat because I used it all the way up to the entrance. On my son's return fight they made me purchase another ticket (3 tickets did the same 13 year old). They'll do anything to make an extra buck. They're crooks and represent Mexico for what it is. This is THE worst airline!! Bar none!! I have flown with them before and had a bad experience and they did not disappoint this time either. First, my seat assignment disappeared and, in order to get an aisle seat, I had to pay for it. Beware !!! when buying a ticket on line Aeroméxico charges you automatically - without your knowledge - for a package kit! Although there is NO place for you to select that option. I noticed it because after filling in my credit card info I noticed the total price was higher. YOU CANNOT CHANGE THIS - IT IS ADDED AUTOMATICALLY. At he call center i was told the ONLY WAY one can "errase" the charge is by calling them and select paying "cash" - after that call center ear ease the charges and you verbally provide your credit info. WORST AIRLINE EVER!!!!! DONT FLY WITH KIDS WITH THEM!!!!! My experience with this air line was horrible and insane with two toddlers under 2. I was flying back from guadalajara to tijuana a couple weeks ago with my two children long story short. I was specific when i was checking in to have my seats close my one each other. Which they tried and unfortunately they gave seats 4c and 4d. Explain to me how is a 2 year old going to fly on his own on the opposite side for a couple hours!!!! I ask the air flight people if they could accomadete my seats with some one else because of my situation & they agreed to it, so they moved me to an other seats since they where next to each other, Once i get there it was the same bs!! I ended up carrying my two year on in one side & one year old on the other in one seat!!!! SO i been fighting with the air line because what they did was there mistake!!! They reply back to my email after saying they are sorry and that I can only get 54 dollars back!! If I could give zero stars I would. This is ridiculous!! Pay attention to the fine print!! We missed a midnight flight and had to pay for new tickets. On our return flight home no one told us we had to register for our flight home. No messages, no emails, nothing!! For a flight that was originally $400 each, we ended paying additional $500 for each ticket! Aeromexico has bad service, clearly didn't care that they did a horrible job of informing the customer of what to do with missed flights!! They only care about $$$$. Worst airline ever!! Very rude and unprofessional employees. Never again am I flying with this airline. Poor customer service & very discriminatory. As soon as I was checking in attendant Gabriela Adriana Contreras was very rude. She wanted me to pay an extra $1,800 pesos for supposedly being 1 kg over weight when my luggage was 24 kg. Everyone else's luggage was 25kg. I asked about 10 other passengers from my same flight & they were all aloud 25kg with no problem. Which was very discriminatory! Employee Gabriela Adriana Contreras was checking boarding pass when we were about to board and was very rude again. Yelling at me for no reason and in front of all the other passengers. This airline needs to get rid of all their rude and unprofessional employees! When I tried calling the airline to tell them about my horrible experience they informed me they don't have a line for complaints. Ridiculous!!! This is exactly why attendants do whatever they feel like doing to customers! This place is complete TRASH. I was leaving my trip from Mexico back to Los Angeles. My flight was at 9:30 am and I arrived at 7 am. The whole reason why I booked this flight was because it said it was delta but little did I know delta and Aeromexico are a merged company, so it was not delta flying us it was AEROMEXICO, complete SCAM. There was a "small" delay of 2 hours, well that "small" delay turning into 13 HOURS. The whole time they kept lying to us telling us that the plane was on its way but it was complete BS they didn't have enough planes to even board all the people they took money from. At one point they even said it was the "weather" that was delaying the whole thing but it was 82 degrees outside, so what "bad weather"!? They should've just been honest from the biggining and said that they didn't have a plane to board all of us rather than having us waiting around like idiots for 13 HOURS. After they finally canceled our flight they gave us a refund for our tickets and but would not give us a hotel, after we argued with the lady and demanded a hotel for THIER MISTAKE they only offered me one room. I was a party of 3, myself and my two uncles, how the hell am I suppose to share a room with my uncles? This was completely insane of them. I asked to speak with a supervisor and his name was Cesar A. He was completely rude and acted like a smart ass the whole time and was helpless. I am so disappointed and feel so disrespected by this airline I will NEVER step foot in this airline again, nor do I recommend anyone to. No one should have to go through what I went through today. To Aeromexico; if you cannot provide a service you charge for, can't provide customer service, nor can you communicate with which planes are flying in. YOU SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS read more
