I'm completely satisfied with the docs and my advanced practice nurse. My only complaint has been calling the office and the phone ringing for a long time before anyone answers. Twice I've called in the past 4 years, been put on hold and left on hold because apparently the office closed for the day. There's also a small privacy issue with the sign-in form where you must write your birth date. Often the next few patients who sign in can view this private information. Why not just the last 4 digits of your phone number along with your name, arrival time, doctor name and the general reason for your visit? read more

Went there for a pre-employment drug screening today, not only was the women entirely rude. She also expected me to piss in a cup while she watched!! Im 42...I've done over 20 drug tests in my life for new jobs.. and NEVER was someone in the bathroom with me..this is NOT a probation piss test,..it was incredibly intrusive and unprofessional. if i was female and this was a male staff expecting to watch, there would be a lawsuit. read more

Horrible!!!! Dr. Boruff is the worst. Front desk is incompetent, rude and hateful. Nearly died because they wanted to leave early on a Friday. Admitted to ER that weekend and had emergency surgery. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. read more

I'm new to the Knoxville area and I really hope the standard set by this practice isn't typical for the area. The staff is extremely unprofessional. When the doctor did order tests they were not scheduled. After long waits and repeated calls I was given a number and told to schedule the appointments myself, and then hung up on. After the tests were completed I had to call and get the results, even when the results were significant and needed follow-up. I've had some bad medical experiences, but this office sets new standards in negligence. read more

Terrible! Doctors and NP's are good, but MA's, financial staff, front desk staff, all other members are unprofessional and awful! This is the most unorganized Dr. Office I have ever been a patient at. They do not communicate with one another, no one knows what is going on, or even cares what is going on. The medical assistance sit around in a group laughing and joking and carrying on like High School students. Follow ups and calls for further testing are never followed up with. I was scheduled for a CT scan and I had to call repeatedly in order to actually get the appointment and it took 6 months. Fast forward two years later I'm experiencing the same CT scan issue. Never in all of my adult life have I experienced such unprofessionalism from a Doctor's office. I need to look for another provider asap. I do not recommend this office to any patient. If you are looking for a new physician, try Internal Medicine West. With multiple doctors on staff (~5) and multiple nurse practitioners, you usually can get a same day appointment when you need it. This group also gets to the source of problems; they do not just treat the symptoms! They are about diagnostics and actually spend time with the patient. If a test is needed, it is ordered; if a specialist is needed, you are referred. What a great change from some doctors I've seen. Highly recommend! read more

I have been going here for 10 years. I started seeing one of the physicians, but she moved to another state. I then started seeing a NP. I absolutely loved her. Then Covenant Health buys them, my NP left and I started seeing another NP. And I liked her well enough. But the office staff is terrible and unprofessional. I have been without one of my meds for three days, because they didn't call in my meds. I left a message on the 'refill' line on a Monday. Come Thursday, my pharmacy told me they still have not received a prescription from them. I am done and now looking for a new doctor. read more

I was a patient here for several years. After a life-threatening medical event, my Doctor refused to schedule me for an appointment with him for many months ...I was pushed off on RNs or Nurse Practitioners repeatedly. He "didn't have time" to see me, and his staff was very rude and unhelpful. I understand that a Doctor may not personally see all his patients for every sniffle, but I could have died from my condition. He was made aware of this, but still would not schedule time for my appointment. Needless to say, I am under a different Doctor's care now. read more

been going here for years..like...at least 10 years...can never...I mean ever, get in to see Dr. Radar...but that was ok, as I was satisfied to see her NP....now, the NP is gone and I need someone to look at some blood work I had at UT Medical/Urgent care ctr...so I called Radar's office....and was told she will no longer see me...because I hadn't been to her in so long...but wait...I had just seen her nurse practitioner because I couldn't...again, get in to see Radar...evidentally this office has a ruling...for Radar anyway...that if you don't see her each year for a physical, she won't see you if it's been 2 years or more (but no one tells you that-not sure it would've made an impression on me anyway- who goes to a doctor if you don't need to?) ...wow....so much for the compassion shown to patients...so..I have to agree with the one stars here...this office is ....questionable...sorry, this "ruling" set by Radar....not a good one for those who can't hold off their "illness" for the 2 months you have to wait to see her...so ...don't bother. I usually got in to see her NP, so that's what I did....how would I know that this was not acceptable practice? read more

Holly Web is a great Nurse Practitioner and the wait to see any of the doctors is minimal. I've had excellent communications with this office. read more
