And, if you're on their website, you can shop by style, fixture type and browse through some of their inspiration gallery photos. Paula was a doll, showed us the upstairs filled with mostly pendant lighting, floor lamps and some smaller chandeliers. Since so much has changed in lighting trend, getting rid of our wrought iron dining area chandelier had to happen as well- especially since it has a country-chicish look I don't like anymore in my home. There's another lighting store on Central Avenue which we could've gone to- but based on reviews, so glad this place came out on top. Owner Glenn, was helpful, patient and friendly. Even when hubs and I didn't find what we wanted on their website, Paula helped locate it in their paper catalog. I loved how she gave us expert advice on how to choose fixtures and even determined which size was best for our space. She was our lighting whisperer.

I waited while the woman working helped someone on the phone. While waiting, she noticed I had samples and asked if I was working with a designer. I said yes. She scowled, pointed her finger, and said "they frown upon designers sending people to the store." I waited to explain my wants to her while she finished her call. I never got the chance. I wanted to let her know I was not sent by a designer. The wallpaper is a small piece of a larger project. I'm paying a designer hourly for help, but have no obligation to source through them. Construction is underway and I came to buy wallpaper today. I did not even need her help. If there were books and a computer to enter my sq footage in, and no salesperson, I probably would have left with a big order that day. When I stopped her rant to ask if I could explain this, she went on and on. It was clear if I did not make a purchase today, it was going to get even more uncomfortable. I agree with her point that it's unacceptable to shop at a design store with intent to purchase elsewhere. With 12th grade level listening skill and tact, this could have been addressed and most likely worked through. Instead I was talked over and down to. Made to feel so uncomfortable that I politely said I should probably leave, and did. You can buy wallpaper from anywhere and prices are about the same. The only difference is the people you talk to. So it is unfortunate that the interaction I had with a salesperson was the ONLY thing that prevented me from making this purchase. 2 rather than 1 stars since the selection is good. Based on my recent personal experience, I unfortunately have to agree with all the negative…read morereviews. 1. Pressure to put down a deposit -- do NOT do it unless your design is final. They will push you hard to pay a deposit to "lock in" a price. In reality, any change to your initial design--no matter how small--results in a higher quote, and they will not provide any breakdown to justify the increases. You're left with two choices: accept the added cost on faith, or walk away and lose your deposit. There is no actual price lock. 2. Promises that aren't reflected in writing. The owner, Fatih, may verbally assure you that you can recover half of your deposit if you decide not to move forward during the design phase. Insist on getting everything in writing before paying anything. Once you receive the written terms (which only show up after you've sent the deposit if you let them rush you), you'll find that you are not entitled to any refund if you ever request your design--whether for review, record-keeping, or any legitimate purpose. Unsurprisingly, none of this is mentioned before they take your money. 3. Poor communication once they have your deposit. After paying, be prepared to chase them. I repeatedly had to send multiple emails and make follow-up calls just to receive a one-line response. And after these delays, they will inform you that your "locked-in" price is about to expire unless you finalize your order within a couple of days--again with no refund of your deposit if you don't. 4. Vague and non-specific documentation. The price they claim you've "locked in" only applies to an undefined "as-per-design" reference--without details. If you don't have a copy of the design, I'm not sure how you could ever prove what you supposedly locked in. They avoid putting anything concrete in writing, making it nearly impossible to hold them accountable. That alone should be a major red flag. I made the mistake of trusting this business based on a recommendation from someone I know. I hope that sharing my experience helps others avoid the same situation.

We're pretty picky about interior design, and the entire team was super patient with us throughout the entire process and very helpful. The owner himself came to our house multiple times (initial measurements, double checking, partial installation, complete installation, follow-up, etc.) to make sure everything was going well. One time, when a third-party cabinet supplier forgot to include a side panel in the initial shipment, the owner handpicked a virtually perfect match from some unrelated stock and just gifted it to us so that we could cut it and apply it to our island in time for a huge party we were having at our house that weekend, and we got the actual panel shortly after that. They've got a great selection of cabinetry, hardware, and countertop material, in addition to some other stuff. It's been 13 months now since installation was complete, and we're still in a state of shock about how beautiful the whole thing is every time we walk into the kitchen. I could not recommend them more strongly.
