I was sent to Intimate Image by my Occupation al Therapist for a compression bra/pad and compression sleeve and glove. Beth did a really good job in measuring/fittting me. My only feedback is when I asked if the compression bra would be warm, she should have offered me the option of a lighter weight bra. I have struggled with the heat caused by the bra, since I need to wear it 24/7, which includes my frequent exercise program. Fast forward to yesterday, I went into the store to buy a different pad. Katie worked with me and I asked if there was an option for a lighter weight bra. She looked through their inventory and was able to find one that met my needs. Salesperson was not that helpful, made rude remarks and rushed us out early as she claimed to have another appointment. The wig selection is limited as to styles and colors. Most of wigs are displayed at the very top of the store near the ceiling. I visited Intimate Image after seeing an ad for a certain brand of compression stockings on Facebook. When I went to that brand's website, the address of "Intimate Image" was listed as one of their retailers. I asked about compression socks for my varicose veins. A very knowledgeable and helpful associate - Linda Hirsh showed me what was available & also took ankle & calf measurements to assure a perfect fit. She showed me how to put on and take off the snug-fitting socks and how to care for them. I had a wonderful experience here. I'm going through chemo and I'm going to lose my hair. I made an appointment to look at wigs and my friends came with me for moral support. Terrye made us all feel welcome but more importantly, she made me feel comfortable. She was so patient and kind and knowledgeable. I am going through chemo right now and had to get a wig and my head shaved. I was told about this place from a friend, who is also going through the same thing. I could not have asked for a better experience. Terrye is the one who made the magic happen. She shaved my head and made me feel very comfortable. She is such a lovely woman and I feel lucky to have met her. I also bought a wig from her and she altered it perfectly. I went in today to have her style it a bit and it looks amazing. Beautiful store but very unfriendly and impersonal owner; Beth. I took my mother there after having a double mastectomy and it was not a pleasant experience. If you just got a mastectomy or still recovering from breast cancer, this is not the place to go as you will not receive much sympathy. Regardless of where you are in your cancer journey, you deserve patience and compassion!!! I noticed the owner seemed to pay more attention and care to her Caucasian clientele. Last time I checked my mother is another loving human being affected by cancer who deserves to be treated with the same dignity as a Caucasian human being. She made an emotional situation fun, up-lifting (no pun intended) & was so efficient that I was done getting sized, fit & walked out of there with a pair of boobs & 3 bras in 40 minutes. Be careful. They don't stand behind their sale. Beth measured my legs for Wraps. They were too small. She would not exchange them. She sold me an extender for full price. When i called again she made up a story that i took medication that made my legs swell. Totally untrue. I had no medication changes at that time. No doctor would give me medicine that would make my legs swell. Warning you not to buy here. Measure yourself and buy at Walmart or Amazon online. Medical Supply is the seller for them. Wonderful to work with plus a huge savings in money. Do not buy from Intimate Image. Very nice before you purchase, but not after. Solaris, L&R said she should have exchanged my wraps. Other places i have learned exchange for different sizes. An expensive mistake buying from them. read more

Just want to let folks know that this shop does not only provide services for people who have cancer. My cardiologist suggested I come here to purchase compression stockings for the problem I have with varicose veins. Tracy Jones took measurements of my legs so that I would have a perfect fit. I had lymphadema therapy and finally was ready to be fitted for a sleeve. Linda was scheduled to fit me and was very late. When she finally got there she was not very nice. I did not get fitted and now I am going to have to my therapy all over again. I will never go back to this place and I would not recommend it. read more

I work for the Cancer Support Community and we have a yearly event for Latino women with cancer. Intimate Image and Beth Higgins has donated bras for over 100 ladies for at least the past 5 years. Their volunteers are caring and dedicated women. We had our even this past Saturday April 12, 2014 and Tracy was an angel. She helped the ladies fit their bras and was so generous and kind.
