I've had nothing but good experience with InTouch Credity Union, especially via telephone and web banking services. The staff are always exceptionally polite and efficient in addressing needs and explaining processes. My only complaint, and it's a minor one, is that the new AI-based helper is polite but not very helpful. Perhaps not speaking with a Texas accent is problematice but it didn't seem to recognize what I was saying and couldn't resolve any of my issues. Unbelievable BS when it comes to trying to transfer YOUR money to another Credit Union. Fill out the request online with the needed information and they then allow me to actually do the transfer and it was successful. So then I try and transfer more and OH NO they have to verify it with my statement from the receiving account. SO THEY BLOCKED ME from doing another transfer.... unless I give them that statement. WHAT none of your business and I am not sending you a statement from an account on another institution that tells the amounts and my transactions that IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. I was able to set up a transfer from MY Other credit union with NO BS such as this....so now my request for transferring my money were suspended and blocked until they receive my statement that is NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS. read more

Now you might be wondering why I'm giving such high praise to a credit union ~ allow me to explain: For a little context about me, I am someone who absolutely hates paper work, especially when it revolves around important life things such as taxes or medical bills, etc. I classify this as "Adult Paper Work". Think Twice if you are applying for LOAN in this bank, they may have amazing intrest rate but it will eat you up in long term. My experience with this bank's system and loan departments processing has been horrible. most recently, My Auto Pay has been canceled by them, after paying on time for two years!! (they bascilly had no way to charge me extra) and their reason is because people having COVID situation, so we had a 'Skip pay july' and made an honest mistake. Sure mistake is fine, but I have to mentally and physicial prepraed and take at least an hour a day, this issue still hasn't been fixed. by transfering between Payment/Loan/Memeber/Supervisor departments!!!!!!!!! I was finnally told Loan department will back date the payment and try to waive the fee since it's not may mistake. So what about my time, my energy where I could do anything but this? I never asked for help even though I lost my job too. ALL I EXEPECT IS NO MORE DRAMA, LET ME PAY BILL ON TIME WITH AUTO PAY and NO MORE SUPRISES!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been a customer with Intouch Credit Union for over 2 years. I always make my payments on time. For a while I have been working on my credit, got It up to 750. Not perfect, but getting there. I was very close to buying a home for my son and I but the corona virus happened and my business went down. I called Intouch to get setup for a skip a payment program , the conversation was great. They were going to help me, I didnt have to pay my car for 2 months. How lovely. Little did I know I wasn't done with the prosses, I forgot to sign a paper, or the information I was given was wrong. I thought I was done with the skip a payment over the phone. Time passes...... In my head I am thinking, yay, I dont have to pay my car for 2 months. But a week ago, I got a hit on my credit. I went from 750 to 630 really quick.... What happened? Well apparently I didnt pay my car.. what? How? I talked to a representative about a skip a payment ? After all those years of monitoring, getting secure Mastercards, . Called Intouch Credit Union, guys please help me, I think there has been a big misunderstanding. I am one of the good guys, I pay my car, I am not a delinquent. Please help me fix this problem. I was not aware of the form I didnt sign. After talking to a manager and two other representatives they told me to make one of my car payments or they will repo it, and write a letter to the creditors, but more than likely they wont do anything about it. It's my fault. ..... I am so sad guys, I made a payment like they recomended and wrote a letter to the Intouch creditors explaining my situation. It's been 3 days now and I woke up to a notification on my phone, I got another hit on my credit... Could It be?,,,, they fixed the problem??? I am kinda getting exited, ooooo noo. My credit just dropped to 600 Intouch credit reported it again for some reason right after talking to them about this misunderstanding. I told them if I had to I would pay my balance, so there wouldn't be anymore problems. At this point, I am not sure what to do. If anyone has any advice please help me. This is the worst credit union I have ever dealt with I opened an account online 7-13-20 it took 7 days for them to start to process my application but only after two calls asking what the status was they said the girl that handles that has been busy .....NICE So then on 7-24 I deposit a payroll check and was told it would be put on hold as it a new account ..ok no problem I login on Monday 7-27-20 and it show its avail ok so I pay my bills because it avail right..... nope money was then put on hold until 8-7-20 Its now 8-1-20 and I have already received checks that I ordered but still no Debit card and its going to take 2 weeks to get my paycheck so I can pay my bills TALKE YOUR MONEY ELSE WHERE THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!!! read more

I've been with the credit union since 1993 when they were associated with EDS. For the past several months the web sites performance has been awful. When logging in, just for it to ask for the phone number for where to send the verification message can take several minutes, if it reaches the page at all. On multiple occasions I've had to pay bills on the mobile device because the website was taking so long to respond or it just flat out failed. In addition, Quicken no longer works with the credit union. When I try to get quicken to reestablish the accounts it tells me my checking account is tens of thousands of dollars in the negative, forcing me to search for all transactions that were reentered by the credit union and delete them. I could not find all of the transactions so I ended up restoring the qdata file from a backup that I had made. I used to really love banking at the InTouch Credit Union/EDS Federal Credit Union, but it looks like it may be time to move on. read more

UPDATE In spite of their comment above I have now spent over THREE HOURS on the phone, on their website (worse than useless) and in their "chat" room with a total of 3 different live people. All were polite. None were helpful. I transferred (bank to bank) thousands of dollars to pay off my loan: it has taken 4 days to post. I can't get a payoff to get rid of the loan (and the credit union) before 3-4 more days. So they will collect a few more days of interest. DO NOT USE THIS CREDIT UNION!! They will drive you nuts if you try to get anything done. Also the interest rate has been higher than I was promised initially. I will now have to drive several miles to a "sister" credit union who may or may not be able to help me pay this off. Alternative is to drive 30 miles to "their" branch. No excuse for inability to pay by phone or online in this day and age other than scoring additional interest from me. "In Touch" is really "out of touch"!!!!AGAIN--AVOID ITCU IF YOU CAN. read more

I have limped along with eds then itcu credit union since I was in college. My college graduate kids have been members also. We are all finally jumping ship. Somehow they snuck a $25 fee onto my account for Balance less than 2,500 (changed from 2000 without my knowledge) costing me hundreds of dollars. Bad user interface. Slow customer service. Non intuitive bill pay which they have changed at least 4 times. At least once I had to re-enter over 30 payouts by hand. I never spend less that 20 minutes on the phone for customer service. They randomly cancelled atm card because I didn't use it enough. I will be Very happy to be rid of them. read more

This used to be a very good credit union. They used to do their own in-house deals. Now, however, they outsource much of their service and especially their underwriting. They have terrible, terrible people at Colonial in Ft. Worth as underwriters for their Residential homes who are the worst I have ever seen. If you have stellar credit of course no problem. But that is true of every financial institute in America. If you are like most of us and have a few bumps here and there in your credit, then beware, you will be rudely and expensively required to pay high fees, large down payments such as 30% down, money held in escrow, and other penalties. Just noticed my credit union did not make my car payment last month. They stated this was a perk they offered due to covid. This was not something I elected to do they did without my authorization. You might think gee that is nice, but it is not. It is a back door way for them to earn more interest. If you make no payment then you balance is not reduced so in August when they calculate 60 days (instead of 30 days) of interest they can pocket more interest since my balance is higher. Awful. This credit union is a joke. I needed them in order to get financed for my vehicle. I've been harassed/ confused and given different information about my account literally every time I call. Im almost feeling like it's a scam. I paid $60 to skip a monthly payment because I had a terrible situation with my animal that needed very serious vet care. That paperwork never happened (both because they gave me wrong information and then they didn't file it in time) and im getting a late charge that will affect my credit. Im sooo over it and frustration level is 1000%. They make it WAAAAAY harder than it needs to be and as soon as I get some other financing I'm out the door. read more

I've been hesitant about posting anything negative about this CU since it used to be a great bank, and I've been a member since 1983. Over time, the level of quality continued to trend lower, in which about every 2 out of 3 times I speak to a customer service rep, it ends with a negative experience. I have dealt with lost accounts (yes...they lost it during a system upgrade), lost historical paperwork, no accountability, and being rushed off calls due to an accumulating hold queue. I now cringe when I have to call them...knowing its a dice roll. No consumer should ever have to be at this point with a bank. Totally unacceptable. My patience is exhausted and perhaps its time to shop for a new bank (i.e., the level of effort to switch banks is starting to out-weigh the effort in dealing with this CU). read more

The worst place to leave your money. They are horrible and goodness forbid you need to call them on a wkend or after 6pm during the week. Their online banking went down for 5 days so zero activity could be done during this time. And good luck trying to call them . I called and wss #76 place in line. Hours after getting through since they updated their website, no one was able to login. I tried to reset everything and said they would email me a link and nothing... No email no link. When I called to talk to someone, I was told I would have to give them the amounts in my accounts or a recent transaction or they could not help me. Oh and I haven't had transactions in over 90 days but they kept telling me....what recent transactions have you had? I haven't had ANY recent transactions. This credit union should be shut down. They're trying WAY too hard to change banking into the "future of banking."Instead of a teller, they have an ATM with a customer service rep on the other end somewhere else. I used to really like this CU and was considering a new loan with them until their new fee schedule shows a minimum balance requirement of $300 in the share savings. IT IS A REQUIREMENT to have the savings account as part of the membership. I previously liked to have a portion of my direct deposit sent to the savings account and then once a month disbursed to pay my loans, but with a monthly minimum you cant do this. Who ever decided to have a minimum requirement on a mbr savings account has lost their mind. The fee is only $5 but the principal is the account is required, this is a CU not a bank and to add this to generate fee's is ridiculous. I know I'm only one person and I don't carry a big balance with them but they have lost my current and future business for sure. read more

There is NO TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE ESPECIALLY IN LAS VEGAS or wherever the 800# takes you. As a promotion I was asked if I wanted one or two deferment payment on my account. since it was around Christmas, I chose the latter. Without any notice of any kind(phone, email, text, regular mail), until a month later was I informed that I was past due. How do you operate a business supposedly thinking that you have good customer service such as this? Needless to say I was totally upset especially in these times. InTouch Credit Union just put us thru the WORST software conversion I have experienced since I joined with EDS in 1984. The entire management team should be ashamed. The bill pay application is the worst user experience I've seen in a long time. We went backward in user experience. All my bill pay history was lost. It took three days to log into my account -- yes, I read the email and followed the instructions. The call center was not trained at ALL! They've changed, and NOT for the better! Every time you want to use online banking, you are required to receive a 4-digit "verification code." Those of us who only have landlines then have to receive a phone call at 2:00 a.m. waking up the household just to receive the code. Also, they no longer receive change so our kids can't take their piggy banks in to exchange their coins for paper currency! Also, there is only ONE teller on duty as all the other tellers have now been replaced by ATMs right there in the lobby! What is ITCU trying to do, drive away customers??? If they are, they sure are doing a great job at it. I give them 4 stars only because I've had VERY limited interactions with them. But they were all super good. InTouch is a shared branch with the CU that holds my car note. I come here about once a month to make a payment. Parking is easy. Quick in and out. Friendly service. Smooth process. It's clean. I also like the way the employees work together. In both my visits I have seen them problem solve and work to provide good service. I really like that in a business. read more

I have an account with BCU and they share a branch with InTouch. There are currently 10 people waiting for two atm machines with a teller on screen. The line is moving very slow. They don't tell you to fill out a form for withdrawals if you are with another BCU. I waited 30 minutes only to be told I need to fill one out, then I had to wait all over again. Poor service. Get more tellers. This is 2018 jeez. read more

Financed an auto loan with In Touch CU. They promised a .25% discount when I set up auto pay. Set it up with a customer service rep, didn't work. Called again and set it up successfully. But they refused to give me the discount after several calls and faxing proof to them that I was entitled to it. Paying a 3 year loan off after only 8 months just on the principle of the matter. Beware of false promises on loan rates. read more
