    My husband and I have used Carvana several times over the years and always had a great experience/vehicle until now. They advertise selling cars with cosmetic damage for lower prices, but this last experience several functional components of each vehicle were not working or in poor condition. Car 1. Interior handle for the trunk was completely broken, sent back for something in better condition. Car 2. Needed a transmission and our mechanic could never get them on the phone to start the claim. Car 3. An hour past delivery time I get a call that it will now be delivered 9 days from then, due to them breaking the mirror off in the delivery process. All while I'm stuck with a car that isn't safe to drive and still having to carry insurance on. I get the new car and the 3rd row both seats are broken, one latch operates but is coming unattached - the other side doesn't fold down at all. The middle console is broken. Pieces of the interior came off into the street from the front floor board/door closing area. The rear passenger door speakers don't work and the window motor sounds like it's on its last leg.. but at least the transmission is working. We traded car 2 for car 3 due to it being the same exact car and mileage as Car 2 and it would be delivered sooner than we could seemingly get the transmission fixed. Unfortunately on car 3 you are locked in and can not send it back. I've never had an experience until this one where we had to use the 7 day return situation- let alone using it to the maximum benefit. We loved Carvana for the convenience and quality - but it seems their standards of what they offer have decreased since we last shopped them. Carvana should definitely be a last resort option if you can't get approved elsewhere.

    Within 2 weeks of getting my vehicle, I had to get all 4 tires replaced and have an alignment. When I called Silverrock/carvana about covering this, they replied with no, you're past the 7 days warranty. Another $1000, out of pocket. They messed up my down payment, so now I have a higher monthly payment. They're resolution for that was make a payment towards the principal. That's not the point I put down a larger down payment to have a lower monthly payment

    I just purchased a $27K BMW 7 Series from Carvana, and the experience has been a complete letdown. The online listing mentioned a few minor scratches, which I was totally fine with -- it's a used car, I expected that. What I didn't expect was a completely botched paint job on the door handle that looked like it was spray painted with a can from Rona. The color didn't match at all, and there was overspray on the rubber door seal, rear door, and even inside the car on the trim. This wasn't some small flaw -- it was sloppy and completely unprofessional. Worse, there was a black interior panel so worn it had a gouge over 1/4" deep showing the yellow plastic underneath -- and this car only has 50K miles. None of these issues were disclosed in the listing. They listed a few scratches, but left out the most obvious and embarrassing flaws. When I brought it up at pickup, I was basically brushed off. The staff acted like I was being difficult. They told me I could return the car if I didn't like it and that they "can't show every defect" online because of photo limits. No apology, no real concern -- just a cold handoff like I was picking up fast food, not a luxury vehicle. What made it worse? Before pickup, I reached out to support via chat and was told I could submit up to 3 cosmetic issues after delivery and they'd address them. I submitted the maximum -- including the overspray and worn panel -- and immediately got an email saying it was "normal wear and tear." Normal?? On a BMW 7 Series?? Since when is rattle-can paint with no prep or tape job considered normal? I just moved to a new area and urgently needed a car, so returning it wasn't really an option. I didn't want to take another credit hit by canceling and going elsewhere. Now I'm stuck putting $3,000+ into fixing something that never should've been my problem. Bottom line: this experience was embarrassing and frustrating. I will never buy from Carvana again, and I'll be telling everyone I know to steer clear. You're way better off going through a certified pre-owned program where this kind of thing would've been caught and handled properly.

Long story short I found a car at a different dealership that was hard to find, they were a bit stiff and offered me below value what KBB said I could get for my great condition low mileage car with premium package. The dealer where I was getting the car I wanted (I'll just say it - Audi Plano!?#$% Avoid them at all costs if you want a FAIR deal) they offered me a RIDICULOUSLY below average amount - what KBB suggested. I walked out frustrated and tired physically and mentally. Thank God I noticed Carmax nearby and thought Why Not? I walked in, there was very much a dmv feel to it Lots of people, sitting everywhere, lot's of traffic in and out. There was a monitor with peoples names/appointment times at the front desk. I thought, wow how am I going to get an appraisal on a weekend with all these people? When it was my turn the guy was very nice and said no problem, we can do that for you and he re-directed me to the business window which was nearby. I was still skeptical and cranky given what I had been through at another dealership. Business desk had a lot going on too, but they seemed to be in good spirits with each other and the people who approached them! Complete opposite from previous dealer. I was greeted by Micah (sp?) who was seemed relaxed despite the busyness, she told me how appraisals worked in a matter of fact way, when I hesitantly asked how long all this would take, she quickly said it should be no more than 30 mins with a confident smile. I was still skeptical but refused to give away my car for the measly amount the other dealer offered me. Well, I went to the bathroom, people watched and yeah about 30 mins later, she came back with my appraisal quote! way more than MORE than what the stingy dealer down the street was offering me and ABOVE KBB !! If I didn't want the other car so bad at A/P, I would've gladly told them to touch grass! But unfortunately they had what I needed. I would have felt much better to have bought from Carmax, everyone I encountered there was friendly, professional and got things done in a great amount of time! I want to thank Micah again for being so patient with me and explaining things while I was under great personal stress and timelines as well (death in the family, trade in car papers expiring etc). I sold my beloved car to Carmax in Plano, had a GREAT experience from beginning to end and wanted to let them know I appreciate them being a positive part in such a stressful weekend for me. Selling it private party I was going to ask $20,000 and if it got desperate I would have gone down to $18,000. So $19,750 was way above my expectations. Finalizing the documentating was completed the same day with a plesant lady named Monica. I was given instructions on completing the documentation and on where to deliver the car (40 miles away) and made an appointment for delivery on 3/11/26. When I arrived there the man who did the intake inspection was nice to work with and he already had the $19,750 check in hand. That took around 20 minutes then they paid for an Uber Chevy Suburban to drive me home. Three pain free days and $19,750 from start to finish was an outstanding experiance and givemethevin.com is a very honest and classy operation. I recommend them to anyone. I wish that I had more cars to sell.

Because he's so knowledgable about cars and their market value, he'll help you get the most bang for your buck. He found the car, called the dealership to inquire about it's options and if there was any wiggle room on price. When it came time to buy, I was in and out of the dealership in under half an hour. (He also told them that I'm extremely busy so they needed to make the transaction as quick and "painless" for me, which they did!) To be honest, due to Camden's age, (he's young) I wasn't sure what to expect. But he's wise beyond his years and a true entrepreneur who undoubtedly knows what he's doing! I also feel like he's honest and straightforward - he charges a flat fee, rather than a commission on the sale of your vehicle which makes his services even more valuable and customer focused! The way I've explained what EXACTLY he does to other people is this: He's essentially a head hunter for car buyers and sellers. Camden was able to help me locate a car that met 100% of my requirements and helped me work the process in less than a week. Not bad considering my insane 90+ hour work weeks...
