She reviews labs, X-rays, and my MRI to see, exactly, what is involved and what is causing my pain. She is very knowledgable about different modalities of treatment and presents them with understanding and precision. I, recently, went to her office, but on the way, google maps took to the wrong place. I had parked my car and after walking 3 blocks, I realized I was in the wrong place. I was 10 minutes away from my appointment time. Walking is painful for me, (part of the reason I see Dr Davids) so it took me awhile to get back to my car. By that time I was 2 minutes late. I called the office to let them I was close and that I would be there soon. They told me they would see me soon. Through 2 or 3 more unfortunate actions on my part, I found my self looking for the wrong office number and was instructed by a worked to go to the next building. To make a very long story no longer, I called the office at 20 minutes past my scheduled appointment, crying, and Sandra answered the phone. She had me describe to her where I was, asked what I was wearing and said she would come get me. Soon Sandra was walking me to the office. She reassured me that everything was ok and that Dr Davids would see me soon. That was 30 minutes after my appointment time. They had accommodated my lateness by seeing patients that were already there so I could be seen when I finally arrived. She brought me water, and reassured me everything was ok. When Dr Davids came in she was so kind and gentle and she told me it had worked out and that she was glad to see me. We had a wonderful conversation and she was very through in her assessment of my needs. I felt cared for and it was such a positive experience-one I will never forget. Being an RN that has worked in the medical field, for 35 years, I know a good quality healthcare provider whan I experience one. Dr Davids and her staff are the best! Thank you, Dr Davids and Sandra and the staff for making this very stressful event so much better than it started out to be.

When asked to further explain, the doctor appeared frustrated, raising his voice, snapped at the patient, and handled in an unprofessional matter, telling the patient, " I do not believe you'. Patients deserve respectful communication, patience, and emotional composure, from their health care providers, and unfortunately that was not the experience for patient nor advocate. . I can only imagine what goes on when patients go to their appointments independently without support from an advocate. Please do better. Trauma Informed Care goes a long way. Trainings are defiitely needed.
