I had ankle surgery a few years back and have had issues ever since. I signed up for their treatment package (50 treatments) because they GUARANTEED/PROMISED me that they could either heal or dramatically improve my condition. After 6+ months of treatment I'm no better than when I started. I feel like I was duped into paying a lot of money for absolutely nothing. So now, my ankle is no better and I'm paying a big monthly bill for a service that didn't work. I'm sure their service can help improve or even heal certain ailments but it did nothing for me. During the post treatment review of which I had to remind them of, I informed them that I was no better off. They offered 8 more "free" treatments and said that should improve my condition which I felt was an insult. I would have preferred a partial refund. Also, I haven't bothered going back and of course they haven't cared to call to check how I'm doing. read more

I discovered Barham chiropractic through an old hs acquaintances testimonial. They apparently changed her life. This was coincidentally right after I went to a chiropractor in granite bay who was the worst. Just grimy feeling and only cared about his businesses bottom line, not the outcome of his patients treatments. I went in for a consulation and i could tell right away, this was going to be a different experience. So I decided to sign up for 50 sessions of treatment with Dr. Barham and his team. I must preface this with, i had a ski accident that had me fully paralyzed from neck down for minutes until i could miraculously move again. This accident had occurred about 24 years ago, when i was 20. So my body had a long time with no correction and age added on top of that. I didnt really know what to expect with the results of the current condition of my spine. My xrays showed that my neck was surprisingly close to perfect but my back was crooked (no surprise, im 6'4"). Currently I am about 35 of my 50 treatments in and they have substantially corrected the curvature of my spine. It is not perfect. I hope it will be at one point but that is no guarantee. Going twice a week has become part of my normal routine and they feel like family to me. My treatments are almost up so I will be disappointed when I don't see them regularly. (Maybe ill have to bring them coffee so i have an excuse to stop by). I enjoy talking with everyone, and couldn't say enough about how friendly and caring everyone is. This office focuses on the money, and conceals this with their "positive attitude" and false words of encouragement, "I'm confident we can correct this". And if they hurt you, or make the issue worse, and you want to cease treatment, they'll penalize you financially. I paid $3920 for a 9 month plan. Half way through my number of adjustments, I was injured during an adjustment and politely declined to continue services, which included 2 x-rays I didn't get. They refunded $1260 and said per the contract that's all I was owed. When I asked them to reconsider, based on the circumstances, I was told, they CAN'T help me. In all reality, I felt I should've received a full refund!!! I wasted a lot of time, energy, and gas money, not to mention the big payment to them, to be left in worse condition! But all I requested was a $1900 refund which they refused. PLEASE DON'T BE FOOLED by their smiles and near-promises. They completely lack in integrity. *I went in after popping a rib, which left my rib cage misshapen or slightly deformed. They were confident it could be corrected. It's worse! read more

Scam. Been to a couple dozen different chiropractors, this one is the scammiest. Everyone there is a salesman. Don't fall for the "first time patient special" we got suckered into going to and paying for 2 appointments and got 0 adjustments. They charged us for "the information we received during the 2 appointments" each appointment was hours long. Worst and shadiest business practice ever. They lock you in a dark room and hide the prices from you like you're a child until the very end of an endless "presentation". Literally a nightmare for someone in pain that just wants to be adjusted by a trusted chiropractor. This place needs to be shut down. read more

They are more interested in your money that your actual care and well-being. I believe they might be somewhat knowledgeable and expert in their practice but they also spill a lot of BS, and a "diagnostic" that is not unique to your problem. What they care about is to make you feel special, that they are the experts and better than any other chiropractors around. Then, they will try to convince you to sign for a high $$$ contract for "corrective" care ; that includes 10 min quick fix of $70-100 each, 2-3 times a week for half a year and maybe longer. If you choose to pay "as you go" with one or less visit per week, they will try to convince you that's not the best choice, etc... Stay away from them and their scrupulous ethics! read more
