Out of town for work. Wanted a low key casual restaurant that I could bring my dog with me. This place was perfect. The outside seating is comfortable with umbrellas. There are multiple places to order food and you can start a tab so that if you are drinking beer you don't have to continue to multiple bills. The service was really quick. Ordered the pretzel bites, chicken wings and the smash burger. The smash burger was the best burger I have had in a long time. The beer list was great too, there was an awesome variety. read more

We stopped by Intracoastal Brewing for a drink and something to eat after coming back from the beach. There was seating inside but we grabbed a table in the yard where they had live music. I had the portobello sandwich with fries and it was satisfying after spending the day in the sun and sand, it was one of a few vegetarian options. The price was right at only $12. I wasn't in the mood for beer, so I ordered the hard soda, and am obsessed! It's a dark cola alcoholic beverage so it has a nice flavor. We ordered with the bar staff and they gave us a number for the food order, they also let my friends sample the beers before ordering. We came here for trivia night and expected little from the food. WRONG!!! So good. First off I had a great IPA. It was the dragon IPA. So flavorful. Not bitter at all. Grassy. Good. Fun spot, for sure. It was deathly hot the day we went, they could for sure use a little more fan or mist action for the hot Florida summers. But there were enough available umbrellas that we weren't suffering too much. As a first time visitor, I struggled trying to figure out where we were supposed to go and whether they had table service. We walked in at the patio area, and saw buildings to the left and right of us. It wasn't obvious what we were supposed to do. We seated ourselves at a table that had some menus, perused them for a bit, and then noticed people coming out of one of the buildings with beers. Went in and had some beers ordered within a few minutes. Great beer! We all enjoyed our selections. I am still not sure what is in the other building. Do they have indoor seating? Unclear. Maybe I should have looked harder for more signs, but I feel like first time customers shouldn't have to work that hard. It also seemed like a great space to have live music if they did some rearranging and offered more covered patio instead of just umbrellas. (Unsure if they do offer live music, as nothing was advertised on the menus saying so and we didn't see any signage outdoors to indicate it.) All in all, we'll definitely come back based on the beers and the food we saw on the menu. But, I know I'll have to put the effort in to figure out what's in the other building (crossing fingers for indoor seating) and whether they have music nights. Came here to Intracoastal Brewing Co. after participating in a 5K race and it did not disappoint. I started with a flight that showed off their range. Dragon Point IPA brought the hops and Doughnut Shop stole the show with sweet, roasted notes that really lived up to the name. The build-your-own burger was a masterpiece. Juicy patty, caramelized onions, cheese melted just right, and fries seasoned like they were auditioning for main character status. For the main pours I lined up the Southern Style Amber and the Oktoberfestivus Märzen Lager. Both were solid, but the Märzen reigned supreme. Smooth, malty, fall in a glass. Champion confirmed. The atmosphere was exactly what I wanted. Easy beer garden vibe, friendly staff, and plenty of locals hanging around. I even ran into some fellow Yelpers which made the day feel like I stumbled into a bonus level. Bottom line: Intracoastal is not just a stop. It is a destination. Perfect brewery for this area. I wish there was more. Indoor seating with AC blasting and plenty of outdoor sunny spots for the brave. They keep the beer options unique but maintain their usuals. You can find dragon point all over Brevard. Met up with some friends for drinks and food. 2 of us got beer flights and we ordered several items for the table to share and one preferred a grouper sandwich. We were able to get a picnic table for the group and while it was a little loud, it wasn't so bad that we couldn't hear each other across the table. The food was OK.. the gochujang chicken was probably the best thing. The person felt that the grouper sandwich was just ok, the fries that he got with it were pretty good - more like thick potato chips than fries. The pretzel bites were a little overcooked and thus very chewy. The chips had a great seasoning, but otherwise, they were chips. The beers were interesting and pretty unique. I logged them all to Untapped app. In terms of "service"... you order and pay at the counter and they bring your order to your table. It seems expected to bus your own table before leaving. No servers seem to be available, for anything you need you need to go back to the counter to ask. I'd go back for beer, though. read more

Got the Uncle Roger's Fried Rice....fried rice was decent, but whatever those chicken nuggets were that came with it reminded me of a hungry man microwavable meal chick nugget. Nothing special. Very appointed, our first time to try out this place, we also stated this to the bartender. We sat down ordered our beer off the electronic menu as directed. This was about 6:00pm, all the local brewery's beers stated $5.00. When we went to pay the bill, bartender switched the electronic menu and the beer was 7.00 to 8.50. We asked why the switch and he blamed another employee for the error. He didn't care that they made the mistake and we payed the bill and learned from our mistake. We have a lot of choices, so thanks for making it easy for our next beer an food choice for the future. The manager was there but was no help. Food was okay. read more

As of this review, the Space Coast has nine breweries/distelleries throughout the county. Intracoastal Brewering Company (which I will shorthand simply to Intracoastal for the remainder of this review), you can say is exclusive to the Eau Gallie Art District (EGAD). It is probably the most accessible of the breweries too as it sports one of the bigger courtyard gathering areas along with its inside and upstairs seating, has a great selection of delicious food in which they may also tag-team with a local food truck, and they have some great local acts performing primarily on Fridays and Saturdays. But of course you all want to know how good their brews are, right? I have to say they are really decent, but take note it is also preference. For example, their most popular brew - that is also sold in bars across the county as well as the state - is their Dragonpoint IPA. I have to say, it is a very good brew and I gave it a high rating on Untappd. However, it is an IPA and I know many people do not favor them at all. I am more of a fan of sweets (ciders) and sours, but when I am in a mood for an IPA and I on an IPA run, I have to stress NOBODY wants to join me. The food is very good and they have a nice selection to offer. I had their tacos numerous times and they are very good. The Philly fries are also very good, loaded with cheesesteak beef and cheese. Probably my biggest issue with Intracoastal is the lack of proper parking. They do have a parking lot in the back, but on weekend when the place is busiest, that small parking lot fills quick. People then have to park along the side of streets or at EGAD parking and walk a fair distance to Intracoastal... which is not a bad thing if you want to get your steps in. Overall, Intracoastal is a fine brewery that does well with what they offer. I do have certain preferences on what I think is better but overall, they are top notch and worth going to with friends and family on a casual Friday or Saturday night. __________ P.S. - Intracoastal Brewering Company, along with all the breweries in the Space Coast that are still open, are part of the Launches and Lagers II Tour. If you have the digital or pamphlet passport, check in at Intracoastal along with the other eight breweries, and log the date of when you watched a shuttle launch, you can turn in the passport at Visit Brevard for a patch or sticker commemorating the completion of your tour. read more

If you don't like IPAS or sours the pickings are VERY slim. I like Hefeweizens, brown nut ales, stouts like Guinness with some flavor, Kolsch, but it's just IPA, sour, IPA sour, IPA, cider, light beer, seltzer. They have one Hefeweizen and it's awful. Stouts are usually black and taste like coffee. I really wish they had a better selection.... I would actually go. read more

I remember when this brewery first opened ....they have most certainly come a long way since then! Absolutely love the expanded outdoor area- kids and dog friendly. They had food trucks when I was there last. Also, more seating was added with a two story building next door. Always friendly staff too. Inside the brewery, there are board games that you can play if you wanted a break from being outside in the heat. Always good beer- my favorite/go to has always been their dragon point IPA! The only issue I have with this brewery is its location ... it's right on a busy highway/causeway, and people cross that road all the time to walk around. Beer flights were fun, wine was fairly priced, quality of the food was excellent. Just a really good atmosphere. You can tell it's a lot of locals, folks from the running or yoga community were there while we were, but it's not obnoxiously "exclusive " or stuck up. Great service. This place is such a fun chill place! They had live music when we were there. They have a ton of indoor, outdoor, and outdoor covered seating. We had such a great time hanging out and people watching and just chilling. I've never been before so I got a flight to taste a few different beers. I'm by no means a beer connoisseur, I enjoy lighter beers and ciders. I really enjoyed the Blackberry Shan-Tea, Beach Cider, and Space Coast. Magic Dragon is very skunky (iykyk) that is the purpose to be that way, so if you're into that it's wonderful. We got the Honey BBQ and Garlic Buffalo wings both were absolutely delicious. What a cool brewery in the heart of Melbourne, FL. Hubby and I always enjoy supporting small businesses and we were happy to check this one out. Hubby enjoyed the IPA beer options so much here that he was able to order them while dining out. The staff was nice and the locals indulged us in conversation at the bar area - reminiscing about the good ol Florida gator sports days. Always nice to meet fellow alum. I went here while staying in the art district. This place has ample choices for various craft beers. The dark and salty chocolate beer was my favorite (although I'm not a beer drinker). They also offer a very limited selection of wine. The Cabernet was dry. The gouda cheeseburger with cabbage and chipotle mayo was very good (and not overly spicy) but pricey. It comes from the Bearded Chef food truck. You order the food and then a Bearded Chef employee brings it out to you. The courtyard area was nicely decorated. I give this place 3.75 stars. read more

I finally, after many years of driving by daily, got to try out Intracoastal! They pulled me in was bacon fest!! (Hey, what's not to want with the word bacon!) Joining a few friends and partaking in delicious beer and unique offerings from food trucks, this place was fun! The way it is set up doesn't feel like you are right off an extremely busy street, as this place has done a wonderful job at creating its own atmosphere, and feels like a destination and not just a Brewing Company. It's large enough to accommodate a decent amount of people without feeling overcrowded, even at such a large event like bacon fest. The options to get flights or just a beer of choice is an exciting way to try something new or try a couple of things at the same time. There was a nice stage, set up for the band to play, with plenty of shaded spots to get out of the hot Florida sun. I will absolutely be giving this place another try outside of one of their events. Seems like such a unique and chill spot to just hang with friends, have a cold beer and listen to some good music. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by the peanut butter and jelly sour; it was tasty and a pretty beet color. The DIIPA was my favorite, lots of citrus hops. The ambiance is great: lots of outdoor picnic tables, dog friendly, lots of families. And a whole separate space indoors. The food looked and smelled great but I didn't order anything. It is a nice place great environment and trivia is wonderful however IF YOU PUT A CARD ON FOR A TAB you will get charged twice . It normally drops later but I think they should be making people aware of that fact that their pos system charges you twice. Food and drinks are great service is mediocre at best... staff isn't very friendly when I brought up the credit card charge twice they said they were aware and not much they can do about it when your account goes negative... read more
