They had a surprisingly excellent selection of liquors, including some tequilas we'd not had a chance to sample yet. Bartender was friendly but did not intrude. LOVED the interior, and they had a banging music selection going the day we were there. We didn't get to try any food, but definitely going to when we return.

They even offer unlimited mimosas, which is always a win. This is definitely a great place to shoot some pool, watch Sunday football, and relax with friends. The atmosphere is laid-back, welcoming, and full of good vibes. The Bloody Mary experience alone is worth the visit. You get to choose from a variety of toppings, and Devin went above and beyond to make ours next-level. Hands down, it was the best Bloody Mary I've ever had. It was basically lunch on top of a drink. My best friend and I were living our best lives and enjoying every sip. Devin was such an awesome bartender that he even convinced us to add mimosas to the mix (no regrets!). We had such a great Sunday here and honestly could've stayed all day. If you're looking for a chill spot with great drinks, friendly service, and an unbeatable Sunday vibe, The Salty Fox is the place to be.

I want to preface my partner and I live in Cape so we have been going to the Cocoa Beach location…read morefor 8+ years. Firstly, our server was really sweet and she got super busy minutes after we sat down. She did her very best but there were times that we were sitting for a long period of time without being checked on. This wasn't her fault what so ever. It is a very slow rollin restaurant. For instance, we had some apps and dinner and we were there for almost 2 hours. I have served my entire life and typical turn around for a table who isn't drinking should be 45 mins to an hour max (just my opinion from my experience). The food was amazing when it did arrive. The only thing I would comment on is the shrimp which you cannot tell in the picture but I believe this location goes through a lot of old bay if they pour as much as they did in our peel and eat. It was SO salty I had to dip it in my glass of water to even eat it. Other than that, the food was amazing as always. I have seen a lot of people complaining on here specifically about food temps etc but that was not our experience. The only thing I would suggest is to put the Mahi Rueben on this locations menu. That should be criminal making satellite and Melbourne residents drive to the cocoa beach location for that incredible sandwich We would definitely go again but this time it would likely just be apps for the meantime because we are hangry people and 2 hours is a bit too long for us personally.

And then it went downhill from there. I had the fish sandwich. Dry dry dry. And the fries it came with were cold. So not great. The wife had the fish burrito. She reports it as being lacking seasoning to point of bland. That was cold too. Service was fair, but to be fair to them, they were short handed. They took care of us for sure, but meh. Overall not great. Definitely go for the fish tacos. Sorry fans, we were disappointed.

Busy, but not too crowded, bartender was excellent. Started off with a vodka martini (was going to order oysters). Ordered the beet salad to start and it was huge. Roasted beets, tomatoes, and blue cheese w/frisee lettuce was very good. Next appetizer was the fried green tomatoes. Huge, crispy and lots of them. Crab meat and remoulade on top was just right. They had imported oysters from New England (Wellfleet) so ordered a 1/2 dozen to go with my martini. Excellent presentation and taste. Next was the peel and eat shrimp. Big and not overcooked. The cocktail sauce was good, with lots of horseradish. On top of all the good food was the atmosphere. More like a resort than a restaurant. Great view of the river. Highly recommended and will go back next time I'm in town.

The cocktails were exceptional. I asked for classic cocktails that weren't in the menu. They delivered. Love the place. Why Four stars? Service was three bears. The waiter with the blonde mop of hair is very nice but inexperienced. Too on top of customers when they arrive. He needs to give a menu and give a few minutes for guests to peruse it. The head bartender is brilliant. Talent without hospitality, though, is a craft cocktail fail. Kindness counts. The vibe was colder than the cocktails. I hope it improves on future visits. The blonde bartender in the grey dress was just right. Professional, attentive, and kind. This is easily a six star speak. When you are serving? You are "on." However, what was given to us was some branded plastic package of some cheese and cold cuts you can get from the refrigerated section in any grocery store and some gas station convenience stores. Like was said above, the staff was friendly and the drinks good. The epic failure of what should be a no-brainer of how not to serve food was an unfortunate distraction from the things that were well done.
