We arrived at our Destination to find that our room has been canceled. My wife got on her computer and started emailing the agent, put a post on facebook asking for help from friends back home. She got the help she needed the Agent started working on the problem right away. After a two hour delay at the front desk my wife was a little tired and hungry and very mad. We did not get the room we wanted nor did we get our Anniversary / Honeymoon Reception that we were promised. My wife was looking forward to that. Instead we felt like we were the problem and that we were an inconvenience to the hotel staff. The first few days we got settled. Ran into more problems. That Hotel Staff has been very kind and accommodating. However, we still would like to know what actually happened. A Couple of days into our trip my wife gets a friend request on facebook from A Travel Center, and then a Private Message asking her to take her post down. It just upset my wife even more. Because A Travel Center has not given an explanation or offered to make it right. They said the Hotel owed us that. After speaking to another travel agent during our stay, she told us that if it was her agency they would have sent an apology and then offered a discount off the next vacation booked with her to smooth things over. Not a request to take the facebook post down. My wife even showed her the exchange. So this is where A Travel Center failed to earn our repeat business. We will find another Travel Agency with better customer service skills to book our next vacation. To bad the lady we met while here cannot be our agent.

Handled flights, travel insurance, hotels, trains, tours, and gave suggestions on all else I had questions about for no charge. They work fast and keep in touch well. They help work to your budget as much as possible. Friendly. Worked in person once and did all over the phone and email the second time.

Why would a WORLD travel agency not know that the name on your ticket must match the name on the passport EXACTLY? Why would they not know the information needed to check in for your flight? Why would they think you want to have the worst seat on the plane for an INTERNATIONAL flight? Now, the hotel reservations. Really? No, REALLY? Do I get a paycheck from this company, for the hours I put in fixing their mess?

A few days before they informed us the boat we requested was not available and we would have to use the same boat as the year before (centurion 24 ft). Literally we didn't get to surf at all the entire week. We called Tom and his son multiple times and never were able to trouble shoot the boat. They were completely unwilling to discuss any type of discount. DON'T RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. TOTALLY UNREASONABLE AND UNWILLING TO WORK WITH YOU AT ALL. WE GO TO LAKE POWELL EVERY YEAR AND WILL NOT RENT FEOM THEM AGAIN.
