I'm dying to come back and try the yurts! I'm honestly afraid to share the news about how great this place is because it seems like a hidden gem for locals! The water was refreshing. It would be fun to swim , kayak, paddle board etc, however since DNR ranger's wink and nod at Jet-skis, speed boats and other motorized floating vessels which have taken over the swimming area, it's dicey at best to do those activities from the beach. There's a huge empty dock adjacent to the beach where boats and jets skis are supposed to dock, but a ranger told us, "too bad so sad, if you don't like it, don't come to the (pay to get in) beach.
