I have used this company for years. they sent me a battery that went dead, and when I called she blamed my alexa for draining the battery which makes no sense. Then she promised to send another battery and two weeks later I have received nothing. I called customer service and there is no option to connect to the local office. The Louisville office has been an incredible disappointment! Their poor customer service is unacceptable! For the second time since we moved here less than two years ago, I went to the office and no one was there. I called and they had an "emergency in the field" that kept their one employee out of the office for the next 6 hours?!? They are only open 2 days a week despite the fact that they have it advertised online that they are open 3 days weekly. We have had Invisible Fence for over 10 years now at 3 different properties, and we love it. We have 3 Mini-Aussies, two who are pups who LOVE to run and play. Like their big sister Willow, before them, this give them freedom and us peace of mind. Our Louisville Rep, Chris, was fantastic, very knowledgeable, and professional. And since the latest install at our farmhouse, he has been very responsive and available for questions and adjustments. I encourage you to carefully follow their prescribed training, balanced against your dog's temperament, and closely monitor your dog's understanding of the boundaries and the system, especially in the early weeks/ month. Invisible fence was an absolute game changer for my family! If you are 'on the fence' about it, you should go for it. Pros: The salesperson who came to our house was OBVIOUSLY a dog-lover. My dogs are jumpers and yappers and she still seemed pretty smitten with them. She spent a VERY long time answering all of my questions, but did not pressure me at all. I have three dogs and they each have different personalities and needs. They were able to adjust the collars so that each of the dogs could go where they are allowed, even though it was different for each of them. The trainer came while I was at work and texted me updates on their progress. Previous training attempts have failed for us because we get too busy and drop the ball, but this solved that problem. They mailed new batteries before the others expired, which I surely would have forgotten if it had been my responsibility. The trainers and customer service people were friendly and patient. Cons: Price (That being said, my dogs were escaping and playing in traffic. You can't put a price on keeping your dogs safe. The vet bills from one bad accident would probably let be more than the fence cost anyway.) read more

I would give them 0 stars if I could for the experience I just had. They claim their equipment is "accurate and reliable" and that "Invisible Fence® Brand's priority is your pet's safety," but apparently that's not true. I've had Invisible Fence for over 40 years and prior to today I would've recommended them to anyone. I recently started having trouble with my dog's collar shocking her when she's nowhere near the fence. She shakes and pees and thinks she's being punished - it breaks my heart. She's now terrified of the car, certain rooms in the house and her Invisible Fence collar. I called the company about it and to say they were unhelpful is an understatement. The man I spoke with didn't seem concerned at all and said all they could do is come out and look at the system - for $185! I'd understand a charge if I had damaged the equipment or wanted to change something, but he was saying I had to pay $185 for them to come look at their malfunctioning equipment, which had hurt my dog (twice)! And that was just for the service call - parts and labor would cost me extra. He said they could not waive the fee, no matter the situation. I have never had such poor (and unreasonable) customer service from them. It's disappointing and a shame that this is how they've decided to treat their customers. I don't normally write bad reviews, but their lack of personal care, inflexibility, and unwillingness to work with you on your specific issue - especially when it concerns your pet babies - is something I'd like to know if I was considering being a customer. read more

I'm going to tell a little more than I want to about myself but its all for the better good. I've been using Invisible Fence now for the past three years, however my use of the product may be a bit different than most. We have two indoor cats and there are some rooms that we wish to keep the cats out of and since we live in a two story home we have had issues with the cats jumping over the top of the railing on the 2nd floor and hurting themselves when they landed down below. That's where Invisible Fence comes in. Since we placed the pods upstairs the cats stay clear of the railing and they also stay out of the rooms that we want them to. According to the good folks that initially came out to teach us and our cats how the system works, they said this was the 1st time that they had used Invisible Fence on hairless cats. Yes, I own two hairless cats. Now that the laughter has died down this system has been a blessing especially since our cats have stopped jumping from the above floor. We're on a plan where the batteries for the collars arrive every four months and this year I had a collar that broke down and Invisible Fence stood behind the product and replaced the collar for free. Ok...so didn't think our 1 1/2 year old puppy would get it but...oh my goodness it's amazing! The support and the caring trainers at invisible fence are unbelievably kind and understanding about our dog Murphy. Whitney in particular...is an outstanding trainer. it's so apparent she knows what she is doing and our dog just loved her. Her goal was to train Murphy in a safe and loving way how to stay in his yard. I can say he graduated with flying colors! So very disappointed in this company. Bought a house with their system installed, we are very familiar with invisible fences and how to train our dog, called to set up time to increase the voltage of the collar since there isn't a self service option. Explained exactly what we needed in clarity, had to take time off of work to fit their availability. They came ONLY to upsell us their stuff and the pet consultant wasn't able to increase to voltage so it was a complete waste of time. Also when we called to inquire found out that it costs $89.95 + travel+training time+tax TO INCREASE THE EXISTING FENCE AND COLLAR VOLTAGE! The system is expensive as is and to get charged additional for such an easy solution is outrageous. I would strongly recommend utilizing s more customer friendly company. read more

Jasmine did a fabulous job - Chloe was completely trained in 5 sessions - the biggest test was when my husband left for work yesterday and she followed him the driveway until her boundary and then sat and watched him leave. She LOVES her human dad, so this was huge! And she's only a little over 5 months old. We really like our system - have 3 acres of which about one acre is fenced, a lot of it woods. No other way for containment, so we're happy to have it. read more

I bought a package for their services through a charity auction that benefited a dog rescue. the package included the equipment and training sessions, all I had to pay for was the wire. Installation was free. They did a great job, hardly can tell they buried the wire in my yard. Training sessions were quick and dogs responded, within a month I had dogs that will not leave their yard. we can have rabbits run through the yard, and other temptations and the dogs stay put. would refer all my friends here if it si something they are looking for, read more

Jasmine from invisible fence was absolutely awesome with my two lab pups Buttercup and Sunshine! The dogs were always so excited to see her and she was so good with them. The training has been very effective for my girls. I can now let them out without worrying about their safety and they enjoy hours of outside play time. The training took place over about three weeks and they definitely "got it". No more chasing them around the neighbors yards. We also used an indoor device to deter them from going upstairs and that has also been really helpful for us. I highly recommend invisible fence and Jasmine. Worth every penny! read more

As first time dog owners, they helped us to feel more confident in what we were doing and got even our 2 year old dog who had never had a yard to quickly learn the boundaries. Ms. Nicole was wonderful! She was patient, answered any questions I had in person and via email. She loved my pups and I was completely comfortable with her being with my pups and being at our house. We are still in the training phase for the fence itself but we have seen such an improvement! We have one stubborn dog that is challenging often but I think she will realize "breaking out" is not worth the shock.
