More involved services (loans and such) were done by a variety of employees in private offices.. Anyway..this bank Webster....hmm.. you walk in and one of the tellers robotically yells out "HI. Welcome to Webster" But they are yelling out to the customer's back..so you have to turn around and say "thank-you"..the younger tellers aren't even looking up at you when you walk in..their heads are down and they are TEXTING. yep..Webster is paying it's tellers (who deal strictly with the public) to TEXT. Also, some of the tellers are unable to wait on customers who are waiting in line, because they are loudly carrying on elaborate financial conversations with clients over the phone..where is upper managment and why aren't THEY handeling these issues? Nope..not so great..

While I have used both of these other banks for some matters, when given the choice, I will go to Webster. Semra the branch manager is most attentave and always make my wife and I feel most welcome. It's why I've never needed to make a change to any other banking institution.. In the past two weeks, they've begun using high technology to eliminate the need to fill out deposit/withdrawal/transfer slips. One tells the clerk what you want to do, and how much, and they have a palm print reader to substitute for your signature. Pretty cool!
