Ambiance: This cafe/bakery has a cute warm welcoming atmosphere, it isn't too small or cramped. The cute hedgehog theme runs throughout and it's so charming. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available once you've picked the pastries and drinks you like. Their days of operations and hours are not ideal at best and looking on their instagram, they close for holidays or need extra days of prep once in a while so check there before you come in. Food: I mean just look at the other reviews...they speak for themselves. Everything is on a first come first serve basis so do keep that in mind because of their limited batches per week. We have gotten a matcha croissant, pistachio croissant (2nd best), chocolate croissant, espresso croissant (1st best), some chocolate filled cream pastry, and have never been let down. The quality is always there and does not disappoint. Service: All of the workers are extremely friendly and helpful in making your selection. Overall: Le Hérisson is a charming warm cafe and bakery that stands out for both its quality pastries and its cozy cute atmosphere. While the limited hours and first come first serve availability can make planning a visit tricky, the experience once you're there feels well worth it. The pastries are consistently high quality and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The overall vibe makes it an enjoyable spot to slow down and treat yourself.

I always knew this place existed and passed it many times on TO Boulevard and I'm so glad I finally…read moremade the effort. I found the atmosphere to be so inviting, warm and modern with plenty of seating and a really nice outside patio. I would also mention that's it's so nice not to lumped in the middle of a strip mall like, ' Longevity in TO & Ragamuffin in Newbury Park' . I love the design of the interior! I have been to a ton of coffee locations in the area, ( Westlake, TO, Newbury Park, Oxnard, Ventura , Santa Barbara, Malibu) and this Cafe Ficelle location is up there with the best of them. Yes the parking is not perfect- but....the service I found on my, 'so far 5 visits' has been excellent and my ' cappuccinos' have been perfectly made and tasted superb. I also had a Tri Tip sandwich which I also found to be really tasty. I am a fan and would encourage you to give it a shot and look past the 3.7 stars on Yelp- I hope this location makes it as the Pizza place that was next to it didn't.

Today I had lunch at Cafe Ficelle with my parents. We shared two French dip sandwiches, a chocolate…read morecroissant and an almond croissant. The sandwiches were outstanding. Crusty, toasted baguette, tender tri-tip, and perfectly melted Gruyere. The dipping sauce was rich and flavorful, a perfect complement. Each sandwich also came with a fresh side salad of arugula and goat cheese. The croissants were very good. We arrived close to closing, so the pastries may not have been at peak freshness. I would recommend enjoying them earlier in the day, ideally with coffee or tea. Since we were sharing, our server sliced each croissant in three pieces. Thank you! The cafe itself is charming, with warm dark wood, cozy seating, and a fireplace that adds to the ambiance. Indoor temperature was a bit cool during our visit, but still a pleasant environment, and there is outdoor seating as well. The staff was friendly and service was quick. One small note: it would help if the staff had a better grasp of the menu and felt more confident describing it. The food speaks for itself and is worth highlighting. Parking was close and easy, and I especially enjoyed the light jazz playing in the background, including standards sung beautifully by Ella Fitzgerald. P.S. I always forget to snap photos. The sandwich was Insta-worthy.
