The assistance by their staff and repair tech was fantastic! I was trying to get a warranty coverage for my refrigerator with Frigidaire but met with such horrible customer service from Frigidaire's contracted overseas reps that were rude and no help. I called Iowa Appliance and they jumped in with assistance and after John (tech repair) found the problem they ordered the part and installed it and it works fantastic!! read more

We have used Iowa Appliance twice now and have nothing but positive things to say! When our washing machine went out three weeks after having a new baby we knew we needed something quality but also something fast! we stopped in just to look and ended up purchasing and having the unit delivered all in the same day! Their customer service is unmatched! everyone from the sales manager to the delivery crew were top notch and so respectful! Almost a year later we had to replace our dish washer. Again, the sales person was so down to earth and honest. He was not trying to sell us on the most expensive unit and talked us through all of our options. We had to wait a period of time as the unit we wanted was back ordered, no fault of the company. Again, the delivery guys were polite and efficient. I will be going back for all my future appliances! Refrigerator just died today without any kind of warning. Stopped in and was able to get a new one right away. Was able to get a delivery slot the same day as it was an emergency. Sales people were very nice and helpful. read more

I would give them 0 if i could. We purcheased very high end appliances through them and the service as been absolutely ridiculous! We were 'forced' by the long term insurance to buy new appliances throught them again and the service has gotten worse, if that is even possible! Avoid this business at all cost!!! Nearly 20 months of unusable appliances waiting for them to process claims and send service personel. When we contacted the warranty company directly, about a second issue, one month in and we have received no resolution to our current problem, and the warranty company informed us that they were just notified of the issue. We try to buy local and support local companies, this is one to avoid. read more

John M was out to service my Kenmore washer, even though I didn't purchase it through Iowa Appliance! He quickly diagnosed that it needed a new inlet valve, and was back to replace it within the week! Everyone in the office was very helpful when calling to schedule my service appointment. We had an awesome experience at Iowa appliance center. The salesman was very knowledgeable and helpful. Helped me pick out a washing machine without any pressure. Went out of their way to deliver on our schedule. Delivery men were very friendly and professional. They made sure we knew how to use the washer before they left and made sure it was working properly. Will go back when we need to buy more appliances. Very satisfied. read more

While my experience in the store and with estimate was good, the experience with service and delivery were extremely disappointing and costly. It took them three trips to install the gas stove, microwave and Bosh dishwasher. In fact they never did install the dishwasher. The installaion person refused to claiming it was too difficult to install because the plumbing was behind the dishwasher rather than under the sink. I have a vinyl floor in the condo that i purchased. When they arrived the first time they refused to install the dishwasher (note above) however they had forgotten to bring the dishwasher. They returned a second time and still refused to install the dishwasher. They didn't have a dolly to move the appliances. My contractor not only saw them drag the stove and the dishwasher, he warned them not to, and they said, "Oh that's not a problem!" The result: I have two significant guages in my vinyl floor and black marks as well. The stove also has scratches (which they claim they will fix?). When I requested they replace/repair my floor they refused, "There is no way that any blame can be placed on my crew for the damage to the floors since they were being moved by the other crew also." (Non denial, denial) My response to him was, "I had no one drag or move any furniture into my kitchen with the exception of a dining room table incapable of doing this kind of damage. It was carried in and not dragged." My contractor is a witness to their mistake draggin the appliances accross my vinyl flooring, yet they refuse to admit their responsibility for it. I did save money on getting my appliances there and not having to pay for installation (although I will have to pay my contractor for installing my dishwasher now.) On top of this when they returned the 2nd time they took the existing refrigerator (which they were not replacing). They had to return a 3rd time to bring it back. If you're going to consider purchasing appliances at Iowa Appliance Center please be cautious about their installation crews. Very disappointing that I will have to replace a entire kitchen floor due to their irresponsibility. Had they brought a dolly or simply listened to the caution my contractor offered I'd have been satisfied and not have written this review. read more

I had a scheduled service call on my dishwasher today (3/21/2018) for 10AM-12PM. I called them at 9:48AM today to confirm if they will be on time and they said they will be. At 12PM I spoke to them to inquire if they will be making the scheduled appointment at the scheduled time of 10-12 and they said no. I explained to them that we are unable to wait past 12PM for them because we have a business to run and can't afford to lose more time. So, we had to reschedule another appointment with them for next week between 8-10 on March 26th. I hope they show up on time for this one. I will do a follow-up review on 3/26/2018 and let you know what happened on that scheduled appointment. read more
