I was previously buying dyed mulch from the hardware store for $5 per 40lb bag so this is pretty stinkin' amazing and it's a great way to support the city's recycling program! win win! Since I don't have a truck to haul the load and didn't need an entire, literal ton, I threw three large storage tubs and a shovel in the back of my car and 20 minutes later, I was driving home with almost 300 pounds of fresh compost for $2.86. Yeah, I'll be bragging about this one for a while. Plus, now I can go rest my strained back muscles in our super lush and amazing garden.
