So I called chappy's repair and they sharpen for five dollars if you bring your blade in. $10 if they have to remove it from your lawnmower and then sharpen it. I brought it in expecting to have to leave it Overnight but the guy there said no let me do it for you right now. So within 10 minutes he had it perfectly sharpened. For five dollars. Besides repair they also sell lawnmowers. I saw a lot of used ones there push, self propelled, and riders. Maybe they sell new ones too. I don't know. But I highly recommend this place.

I was charged 160 dollars ,cash only, for the service call, but was told it would be put toward repair bill. the next day they called and told they wouldschedule my repair for August 15. in August I called and was told it would be September but they would fit me in if they had a cancellation. that was the last i heard from them. no repair, no phone call, no credit for the service fee. i would not reccomend them.​

The first company (not Ace) that came out gave us an estimate of over $40k - new builds have the gas and electric meters next to each other, but on our older home, they're on completely opposite sides of the house, so we knew there would be additional costs, but we were shocked at that total (which put the project out of reach for us). Called Ace for a 2nd opinion. Their estimate was much more reasonable, and their tech (Jesse) was extremely knowledgeable and discussed all aspects with us (we needed to update our electric panel, move the meter from inside to outside, and needed a plumber for one bit as well). They were responsive and helpful as we were getting those other updates done, Jesse was prompt with great communication and the install went smoothly (this was especially appreciated as we have salt water fish tanks, so we had to set up alternate power for them on the day of install, since they can't be without heater and pumps for more than an hour or two--not that big a deal but it did mean we had extension cords running out through the garage to the car, and the Ace team was fine working around that). We had one glitch the first week the self-test ran, we texted him and he came by within 24 hrs, knew exactly what the issue was and fixed it right away (at their--well, the manufacturer's-- cost). We know we can call them any time we have a problem or question, or in a year if we don't want to do the service/oil change, he said they're happy to do it, but they're also fine if we feel comfortable doing that ourselves. Honestly, it could not have been a better, more positive experience and I would highly recommend Ace to anyone for any home electrical needs!

This business is one of the worst I have ever encountered!…read more We were new in the area and didn't know any better. In the past, we had taken a lawn mower for a new carborator, only to have them install it upside down. Later, we had them work on a snow blower, We didn't see it for a couple of weeks after it was delivered to the wrong address, although owner was sure he delivered to our house. It was several houses away, and finally the person living in that house called the police to report it, and we finally got it back. It's a small circle drive, shouldn't be that difficult to find our house where they picked it up!! (They delivered it to house #103 instead of "123" We didn't take any business to them for many many years until recently, we purchased a new Troy Bilt mower from a different store. A a couple of months after purchase, the mower threw a belt and we were told that Wade's was the only place that did their warranty work was Wades or a a city aproximately 50 miles away. We decided to give them another try.... Big MISTAKE! They were nasty on the phone and told us they were too busy and "their customers came first"! We called Troy Bilt, after which we received a message from Wade's they would come pick it up. After a week or so, they brought it back and left it in the driveway parked partially in front of our garage door, if it had been 15 minutes earlier, my daughtter would have backed into it when she backed out of the garage!! My husband was told it would be delivered in the evening, and they came around noon, not bothering to ring our doorbell to let us know it was sitting outside for us to run over!! Then they billed us almost $50 to pick up and deliver even though they are only approximately 6 miles away from our house. In short, this business is run by HIGHLY INCOMPETENT AND RUDE OWNERS!!
