Sales were in full swing on most items due to the holiday season, other items not on sale and totally overpriced. I did pick up several clothing items with obvious defects; snags in sweaters, etc. Maybe just obvious to me, but disappointing given the price points on the merchandise. I had to try everything on because COVID. I'm glad I did because I left with 3 different pairs of pants in 3 different sizes. I'm short, but not really petite, so I checked out their petites department. Very picked over, but I had better luck online searching for those items. In general I thought the store was very light on new inventory and normal-heavy in the off season merchandise in the clearance areas. My husband said most of the men's department consisted of Big & Tall sizes, so he had no luck at all. Recommend checking out Penney's. Has a Kohl's feel, but a little more upscale than that. Disappointed in the lack of new inventory, though. Customer service was pretty lackluster, too.

I have a couple tops that I bought many years ago & they are still going strong! No holes or stains, just great! And so smooth on the skin. Service was top notch, the person at the counter found me something that fit from the back when one of the tops was out of my size. They are so bold and out here with their products and if you've got any halfway decent sense of humor, you are sure to find a ton of goodies here to appreciate and purchase! This store encapsulates the Midwesterner state of mind perfectly and I just absolutely love it! This specific Raygun store is located in the extremely quaint and cute downtown Cedar Falls area and so at the front of the store in particular, they have specific products and merch geared towards Cedar Falls especially! I believe one of their bigger stores is located within Des Moines and I will be visiting it very soon and can't wait to see what delightfully fun finds I discover here! My only request to Raygun is for some more representation of other states in the Midwest! As an Iowa-based company, I obviously see and understand the overwhelming majority of Iowa-related products, but I've also seen some Kansas and Ohio merch as well and as a Michigander, I would really love some Michigan representation too! Fun store. Never been to one or heard of it before…read more Lots of T-shirts, stickers, and other items with very funny sayings and expressions. Some regional stuff and Iowa stuff but definitely not for everyone, especially if they don't have a sense of humor. There was even stuff for dogs. Even the sign out front is fun and it explains Midwest weather. Employees were nice, friendly, smile on their face. Store is large, 2 levels, there are also dressing rooms.

They had a large selection of clothing, furniture, and costumes since it's Halloween season. The store was well lit and the people working the checkout lines were quick and efficient.

Updating my review from December…read more.. Last weekend we scored some really good deals! We purchased a pair of casual Levi's shoes for my husband and some packs of socks (which were buy one/get one). I think we left this visit spending right around $50 for everything including tax. Store was busy during our visit, but cleaner than the last time I was in. Still recommend because their selection is consistently pretty good, and customer service is higher than your average retail experience.
