After a few years of being dropped (it never bounced) the scotch tape holding the glass screens together (front and back) were failing. My next step was the dreaded "search for help" on the internet. This repair shop saved me. Since I'm a dumb-dumb and tried to ignore the "WARNING, water detected in your iPhone, please refrain from charging" notice on my iPhone 12 mini, I was like eh, what's the worse that could happen. Shortly after I continued charging my phone. This AM I noticed that no wired charger would work with my phone, in the car, at home, nothing. I was like welp I suppose I can use the wireless charging option HOWEVER I didn't have a wireless charger. With limited time before my phone died with NO way to charge it I had to figure this out quickly. I called some iPhone repair shops and nOBODY could repair the charging port on the iPhone 12 mini. NOBODY. I was like great now I have to go into the Apple Store and have them tell me what I already know and they're gonna charge me up the a** or make me get a new phone. I called back mentioning that I couldn't seem to find any other repair shop that would do this service so he said he MAY have the part at one of his stores, since someone in the past had ordered the part and never came in.
