He showed me the part in my phone he replaced and the issue had been resolved. I paid in cash and was a bit short on bills but he still accepted it. He's a lifesaver! Updated my review to share the same exceptional service I received from my last review last year. Sam was great and super responsive. I brought in a hella old ipad mini 2 [I didn't want to trash it for nostalgia reasons] and he was kind enough to help me. Upon review, they assumed that it was the digitizer (sp??) that was defective so they ordered the parts. They take a down payment (completely fair in this economy imho, but wanted to warn others in case). it was shipped to them in 1 day but it turns out it was not the digitizer but the LCD that was busted so they call me right away to tell me it did not fix the issue and they were ordering the other parts to replace the LCD. Given there error, they did not charge me for the other part and even gave me a discount on the LCD for the inconvenience. How nice, right???? Three days later I check-in to see if the part is ready and there and they tell me it will be 3 hrs for them to replace the part. He calls me back in less than 2 hours and tells me it's ready. The iPad works just as good as it was from the box and I cannot wait to get back to my ready and web browsing shenanigans. Thank you Sam and other dude. Really appreciate you both. 10 STARS if I could offer them such. Highly recommend the quality, work, and customer service at this location. Will be my go to for all tech junk I have issues with. Sam said, are you sure? If it doesn't fix the problem, I can't refund you. Then he said, let me take a look at it first. A couple of minutes later, the problem was fixed. My Wife has been a customer of Sam for some time now and has always mentioned to me that if I needed any type of work done on my iPhone, that he would be my go-to guy. Well, the time had come for me to change my screen, case, speaker and battery, so who do you think I went to? Yes, Sam! I have to say, my Wifey was not kidding and his five-star reviews are so true and well deserving! I went to Sam this morning and he remembered my Wife and appreciated her bringing in another customer. The ambience of his store is very welcoming, and the complex has ample amount of parking. I told him my issues and he gave me a very reasonable price, most likely much cheaper than someone in my own area (I made the trip from Hayward). I agreed with the price and I let him get to work with my phone, which is a three-year-old iPhone 8, which is still treating me well. I have to say, as I saw Sam working on my phone, he was so meticulous and even took the time to clean every area including my speakers. I was so stunned that our phones can collect so much dust and gunk. After Sam completed work on my phone, it certainly made a night and day difference on what my phone looked like before (so sorry I did not take a before and after photo, but his 5 star reviews speak for themselves) and with a new case, it looked as if it was new, taken right out of the box! Throughout my years of going to many cell phone repair shops, Sam by far is the best of the best, as he is very kind and knowledgeable! Sam is the only one out of 5+ I called that actually had a replacement screen on hand and when I got there was able to put it on under 45 mins. To top it off, when I asked about any recommendations about a glass screen protector - plastic screen protector I had obviously didn't do it's job - he not only recommended one, he basically threw it in for free and had it installed too!
