They just pass from one person to the other, so its literally wet from the sweat from the prior user! -Long long wait times. -Karts are running non stop and are in need of repair. She clearly and patiently explained all the options and was a fantastic ambassador for the front desk. We bought the 3-ride bundle. Since a couple of the kids were under 15, we started with a Semi-Pro race. Unfortunately, my kart wasn't working properly--it braked going uphill, downhill, and pretty much whenever it felt like it. Not exactly the ideal start. The next races we switched to Pro, but there were still quite a few racers on the track. If you're hoping to set records, I'd definitely recommend coming at a quieter time. When you have slower drivers who haven't quite figured out how to drive yet, patience becomes part of the experience. Despite that, everyone had a great time, and the staff really made the experience enjoyable. A couple of negatives: the karts should be checked more carefully before putting them into a race. Losing a race because your kart isn't functioning properly is frustrating. And then there's the price. Three races each for the whole family gets very expensive--almost approaching what you might pay for a full day at Universal Studios. That definitely puts the cost into perspective. I would give a 5 star for the racetrack and the staff, but the price and the broken kart brought it down to 3. So 4 in total Would I do it again? Absolutely. Would my wallet agree? Probably not. Still, for a family of racing and motor enthusiasts, it's an experience worth doing at least once.

Everything was spread out and didn't feel on top of each other. The location was way bigger than it had appeared to be. Bathrooms were spotless. I initially had my Dad and I to do one race and an hour of axe throwing but after our race my Dad lit up. So I asked the helpful associate Angel if we can sub our axe game for another race. The manager Nicole was such a sweetheart and did it no problem. Amazing experience, 10/10 recommend. My only dilemma is for people who carry most of their height in their legs beware. The go-cart seat can only go back so much. But otherwise we had a blast.

First, several rides were closed -- possibly due to short staffing or needed repairs. I'd suggest the website list how many rides are closed on a given day so visitors can decide in advance whether it's worth the trip. Given how much a visit costs, it's frustrating to arrive and find a chunk of the rides unavailable. Second, the food was great, but there should be more healthier options on the menu. Finally, at every ride we visited, the staff seemed unmotivated -- dragging their feet, no greetings, no smiles. I'd recommend that staff orientation emphasize how important it is to welcome guests warmly, ideally with a smile.

My last trip review of SFGADV was in October, 2018, well before the Cedar Fair / Six Flags merge in 2024. For this here review, we'll cover the attractions we experienced on Sunday, July 19, 2026 and our thoughts concerning the visit on the whole. So, let's get down to the business at hand, shall we? The first thing, darlings, is to be aware that cash is *not* king here. In fact, the park is completely cashless. Please make certain you have some form of a cash alternative with you when visiting here. Examples: debit/credit cards, Apple/Google Pay, sugar daddies with these alternatives, etc. Since my bud Ron and I have memberships, we get four free FAST Lanes for each and every visit (don't be jealous!), so waiting long periods of time for rides wasn't a factor for this visit...we skipped four long lines and did four rides, which kept any wait to an absolute minimum. If you're a parkie and plan to do several visits, a membership may be worth its weight in gold, so to speak. And while you're at it, spring for the meal plan and get a beverage cup. Food is not inexpensive so you might want to consider this, especially if you don't want to leave the park and trek over to the nearby Wawa or McD's. A note about the drink cup: it is cheaply made yet it must last you the entire season. DO NOT put it in a dishwasher. DO NOT leave it in a hot car. It will melt like the Wicked Witch of the West and you will be shocked when you find out how much $$ you'll have to shell out (cashless, of course) a pretty cashless penny to replace it. They won't ever give you a freebie...no such thing as a free lunch, especially at Six Flags, so treat the cup as you would your first born. Here are the rides we experienced on this trip and how Your Host rates them: 1. FLASH: Vertical Velocity (B-). It opened last season but this was our first ride on it. Overall, it's exciting and a bit disorienting. The hang time is really cool, but that's about it. I found it sort of meh-ish despite the other stuff, but if we had to wait on that long line, we would've been unhappy, to say the least. Fortunately, we had Fast Lane, so we went directly to the front of the line, which ameliorated any dissatisfaction with the experience overall. 2. Barrels of Fun (F). Content creators gave this some pretty positive accolades so i looked forward to this one. But darlings, this ride is a banger and quite violent. This is a spinning Wild Mouse that was relocated from SF America and had been completely restored. It's pretty, I'll admit, but looks only get you so far. Things start out okay at first but descend into the depths of Hell as the ride progresses. Once the car starts spinning right round baby like a record baby do things become like going a few rounds with Mike Tyson. It's NOT a fun ride (unless you're seriously into PAIN). Rename this ride to "Barrels of Agony' or "Barrels of Torture"...not "Barrels of Fun". 3. Saw Mill Log Flume (B). For a flume, it's pretty darn good and we got soaked...so go in with that expectation. The park did a great job restoring the ride and like Barrels, it's pretty. It's not silky smooth but fun overall. Ideal in hot weather...ideally. 4. Medusa (B+). Your standard B&M floorless looper. Fun and exciting and a recommended stop here. DINING: Best of the West (A-). For park fare, it's pretty darn good. Both of us had pulled pork sandwiches, which come with tater tots, corn bread (they really want to carb one up!) and Cole slaw. Since I'm not an avid fan of the tot, they went largely untouched. The sandwich wasn't the easiest thing to eat so it's was a fork in' experience, but that's okay. Recommended. Overall a nice way to spend a few hours and a nice time. The park looks clean and fresh, and the owners are making great progress in beautifying it. Yes, definitely come visit and get back to me... We enjoyed some hot dogs and fries at Olde Heidelberg, onion rings, wings and fried Raviolis at another stand and Puerto Rican food at Mambo's Nando's. They have rides for all ages. There are a lot more for the younger crowd than other parks around the area. The go karts and batting cages are a nice addition. There's a parking lot right behind and next to the park, so no searching for parking. There's a waterpark across the street, Runaway Rapids. We can't wait until the summer to go. It's so much fun. They have some great slides and features.

Honestly, after the first time I just thought it was a one-off bit of being ignored, but same experience each time. On the last visit I decided to buy a small item I needed. The cashier refused to let me use a credit card unless I provided my phone #; he claimed the credit card processor needed it to confirm my identity. So I gave a bogus number and the transaction went through with no problem. I will never return.

While on a road trip heading south, we decided to explore a few spots. Originally, we planned to stop in Atlantic City, but since we weren't getting tattoos (our longtime artist is based there), it didn't make much sense to go. Thankfully, we figured that out just before hitting Exit 82 on the Garden State Parkway! It felt a little surreal--and honestly, nostalgic--to walk around and see the places we'd only watched on MTV. Naturally, the first place we headed was The Shore Store (also reviewed separately!). We purchased a round-trip Sky Ride pass for two for under $20. The ride was smooth, peaceful, and gave us a great overhead view of the pubs, games, and amusement rides the Jersey Shore crew once enjoyed. After the ride, we grabbed some snacks, including shrimp and fries. It was a cool, crispy, not greasy, meal that hit the spot. Overall, this stop was a fun, quick detour full of throwback energy and beach-town charm. If you're ever nearby and want a little slice of pop culture and coastal boardwalk vibes, it's worth the visit!
