He explained everything in a way that actually made sense, without jargon or unnecessary complexity. Technology isn't anyone's best friend, but Gio has a rare ability to make it cooperate. He troubleshot quickly, communicated clearly, and made the entire process stress-free. I'll absolutely be reaching out to Gio again in the future and would recommend him to anyone looking for reliable, knowledgeable, and refreshingly personable tech support.

Residential network help isn't easy to find so I was just guessing when I called Gio at ITProServ. Basically, I pulled a few people off the internet for Bergen County, made sure there weren't horrible reviews listed somewhere and just went for it. I promised myself that I'd leave reviews so others in my situation can get some more clues. Gio was great to work with. Super nice guy (which helps when you're bringing someone into your home) that got my job done efficiently and effectively and for what I think was a fair price. I think my job was on the small side and I know he talked about some big jobs that he has. I recommend giving Gio a call.

Please avoid. My…read morelaptop was clearly crashing I noted all the blue screen check sum messages to Brian the owner. He offered a " free" diagnostic and told me he would clean up the machine and make it faster for $100. I got it home, and since I rarely use the machine I activated it seversl months later. The same blue screen errors appeared, it went to DOS and crashed just as it had when i first brought it in, and I called Brian Skaff who told me to bring it in again. I did; left it there a few days and he again insisted NOTHING happened when they tested it. He said the laptop was fine. At this point I began to question what I had spent $100 for. My question to him when I got it home and AGAIN I got check sum errors and blue screen was what exactly did I pay for? This is a laptop 7 years old rarely used. I would have appreciated during the "free" diagnostic an honest appraisal, that the machine was beyond repair, instead I was charged $100 for I don't know what. I explained I was an ipad user, and asked him what he did for the $100. Brian became agitated with me, blamed me since when in his possesion "there was nothing wrong" ultimately I took pictures of the blue screens and emailed them. At this point he concluded it may be a hard drive problem( as I had originally suspected) and quoted me a price of 289 roughly to fix. Am I a fool? $289 plus the 100 already spent buys an new laptop. This man is defensive, corrupt, and takes advantage of someone like me who is financially strapped and not computer savvy. I repeatedly advised him as an ipad user I would be using the laptop rarely and that I was likely to bring it home store it and not use it for months, but when and if I needed it I expected it to work. Avoid at all costs. I still don't know why the 100 was charged for a clearly fried laptop and when. I try to pin him to what was done he elevates his voice and blames it on me. The honest thing to do was advise me the laptop was betond repair. How dare he charge me $100 for nothing? My mistake is I trusting this business.

We talked for awhile, got the problem diagnosed, the guy at the desk called the owner to confirm the part being ordered, great. Get to a week later, I call back about the part because I need it replaced. "Oh, $, we never got that ordered. I was mowing my lawn when he called me and..." Oh boy. Not good. Let's review: * Immediately refunded my deposit * Continued investigation and found they DID get it ordered * Did not demand a new deposit * Continued tracking the package, even though it seemed to be lost - well beyond the expected Tuesday-Wednesday timeframe. * It arrived while I was at work, really didn't have time to fix it. But he called me up to let me know and we worked out a time - he personally promised to set that time aside for me. I showed up, he confirmed it was the right screen, we went through some tests - it was glitchy - then he rebooted and it seems to have unglitched. As I now touch my screen to confirm, Device Surgeon got it done. They fought the mail, they put the customer first, and navigated a tricky situation successfully.
