I reached out via Yelp to get a quote to mount a 77 inch TV with a sound bar and Rob was very responsive. It's a bit pricier than other companies but he had great reviews and I didn't want to risk using a cheaper option since the TV is so expensive. I was able to get an appointment for the same week. Called Rob's because The Woodbridge History Museum had a television that was installed with a bracket from a prior installer that was the wrong size. The TV had tilted and appeared like it was coming loose from the wall. Rob's came out quickly and removed the television, brought the proper wall mount and installed the set and new mount quickly and safely. Rob's installation review From my very first phone call to Rob, he was nothing but professional and showed me how much of a master at his craft he really is. I called him because I needed two TVs mounted, one 55 inch, 85 inch TV and 2 sound bars. I explained to him over the phone what I was trying to do and he perfectly explained to me in the words that made sense, he did not get too technical. Mind you I am not some magnolia home theater specialist so I don't know much about TVs. After shopping around for several days I decided to choose Rob to install my TVs. Now I based my decision because Robs pricing was not only competitive, but also the testimonials and pictures on his website did a lot of justice. All his work appeared to be clean, professional and pretty much perfect. I ended up scheduling an appointment with Rob and he gave me a timeframe at what time he would show up the day before. He made sure to text me the day prior to confirm and showed up within the timeframe he initially told me. I'm sure anybody reading this can attest to the fact that delivery people or installation people never show up within the allotted window they usually give but Rob did and that showed professionalism and good time management skills. Long story short both of my TVs and sound bars end up getting mounted on my wall with mounts that I purchased on my own. I really also liked the fact that Rob did not pressure me or force me into a corner where I felt like I needed to purchase all my mounts through him which made me feel a lot more comfortable. A little while after Rob left I turned my TV on and came to find out that my 85 inch TV had a crack in it and was not functional. I ended up returning the TV to Best Buy and purchased another 86 inch TV (every inch matters!) I called Rob once my purchase was complete to see if he had any availability to come out and mount the new TV. Rob showed up less than 24 hours later and mounted my brand new TV in the living room. When I called him he was completely honest with me and told me he may or may not be able to fit me with in his schedule for the new mounting but he got back to me quickly to confirm that he can come back the following day and get it done for me. I was beyond happy with the installation of both my TVs and both sound bars. The one sound bar in the living room is perfectly centered and mounted on the wall with the perfect amount of space between the TV and sound bar. He also concealed all my wiring behind the wall by running an extension cord up behind the TV. Rob warned me that I should not run a 120V through the wall because it is a fire hazard which I did not know. Overall my experience with Rob as a person and as a professional or beyond amazing. He is extremely smart, informative and thorough with his job, some would say a perfectionist to an extent. If you are in the market and looking for someone for your home theater needs I would 110% recommend Robs Installations. Rob's Installations were great! Communicative, professional, & thorough across the entire process. Rob reached out w straight forward & clear pricing, accounting for all my variables as I detailed different needs for the project. I had requested a flat screen TV mount for a 70" TV with in-wall wire concealment. After some discussion, Rob advised that we should do relocation of the power outlet behind the TV mount to remain fire code friendly, so we had them complete that work as well, & it was done very well. Rob & team were effective & I ended up opting to have more work done in the house including terminating CAT6 ethernet drops throughout the home & Rob was able to test, tone, & punch down all the CAT6 drops without issue. They also did cable management of one of the CAT6 drops to my TV mount location with discreet wire covers adhered to the wall. All told, everything came out looking neat & clean, was zip-tied professionally & all the cable terminations appear to be properly done as well. Rob has installed a video doorbell and a number of TV installations after we moved into our new home. Two of the TV's were over fireplaces. One of the TV's was 77 inches wide. Rob is very knowledgeable regarding technology and also very patient. Each installation was precise, Rob set up infrared for one Tv control.
