They were amazing. They evaluated my current system, which is also integrated into an AV system, wrote up a proposal which I accepted. The system they installed is amazing. I have never had as good a WiFi system in terms of strength of signal, speed and reliability. As important, this Smart Start does what they say they will do without any surprises. They call when they say they will call, show up for appointments on time and really back up their services. In my case there has been nothing to do, since their system is working perfectly, but Smart Start Network has followed up a couple of times in the first 30 days after installation to make sure I was 100% satisfied. If you have a WiFi system you want installed, or have an existing system you would like upgraded I would highly recommend Smart Start Network. Lastly, Phil was the senior technician on my job and was phenomenal. Gina works in the office and is fantastic as well. This is my first Yelp review. I felt compelled to endorse this company because they are a breath of fresh air in NYC, where quality of product and service are often hard to find!

Tamas determined that Optimum and Verizon technicians incorrectly installed patches that were short term fixes and left behind "the other guy's" cables and connectors that were not connected. In fact, the Verizon Extender was not transmitting a signal and was merely a fixture on the mantle below the tv. Not only did Tamas clean up the mess others left behind, but he patiently explained what he was doing every step of the process. I strongly reccomend Immersion Audio, Technoconsious and Tamas Gabor for all your electrical and communications needs.

The technician diagnosed the problem as a defective screen and insinuates that I might have dropped the computer or spilled liquid on it ! The technician was unfamiliar with either device. The photo printer, as connected, smudged badly, which the technician said was the result of using the wrong paper. He managed to get the CD player working by attaching it to my phone charger. I left town for the holiday weekend. Service charge $300+ I returned from the holiday weekend and realized that the technician had taken my business printer off-line. I couldn't get it working and they were unable to resolve the problem over the phone so, on May 28, they sent the technician back to my apartment where he got the printer back on-line. Service charge $200+. I went out to lunch and, when I returned, I found that the printer was again off-line. I called and the issue was resolved by my unplugging the printer, waiting a few minutes, and plugging it back in. The unplugging technique, such as it was, would only last a few hours with the result that almost every time I needed to print or scan, I had to unplug, wait and re-plug. Additionally, the connection between the computer and printer had become very slow. I called again and requested that they send me a different technician who came on June 5. He put my printer back on line, did something that made the photo printer actually work, and was able to get the printer to respond more quickly when printing. Service charge $200+ June 6 the printer was again off-line. I called that morning and was told to "calm down." I'm done with Lincoln Business Machine.

I hired them to "wall mount a few TVs and hook up my receiver" in my new apartment and Doron came in with much better ideas - "why not do all new speakers in the ceiling?" This made me excited but also skeptical - is this the classic upsell? But no, all of the prices were extremely reasonable, the work went smoothly with excellent communication, and when there were hiccups with the TV hookups (Verizon FIOS network clashed with my home mesh internet system and provided a huge headache), Doron and Jonathan put in the extra time to make sure everything was perfect and never thought twice about it, at no extra charge to me. I hired them for an add-on project to install a TV on my roof, which was a fun AV/construction puzzle that they solved beautifully. It's really clear these guys know what they're doing and care deeply about delivering a fantastic product. Even since the hookup when there have been a couple small issues, they never hesitated to help me resolve them, even coming to my house on short notice. These guys know what they are doing!…read more I recently decided to connect the pre-installed(but never hooked up to an amp or smart system), integrated speakers, hang and connect a TV and also needed to upgrade the interwebz, at the crib because it as extremely slow and spotty (some areas would not get wifi at all since it's the building is old and made of brick.) So after consulting the internet the internet I called ExpertTech Inc. and some other firms. What came next blew my mind (in a good way), not only did Doron (the owner, and all round very nice guy) get back to me immediately, but he came over the same day to do the visual assessment. I had and itemized estimate the very next morning! Boom! How about that for speed? I scheduled the installation for the next week, when all the necessary components were scheduled to arrive. Installation was also a breeze! At least Marston and Brandon, a two man installation Team Machine, made it seem that way. The first day was spent, calibrating all the necessary CAT-6 ports and setting up the server rack and internet. The second day was spent setting up the sound system. And this is were they really shined. Apparently the speakers (installed by someone else, not these consummate and dedicated pros) had been wired wrong, At this point I was afraid the whole endeavour would go down the drain, but fear not, ExpertTech stepped up to the plate! After checking one ceiling speaker they realized they could remedy the whole situation by going in and taking every speaker out of the ceiling and rewiring them. This is not an easy task with high ceilings and it proved to be time consuming, but these guys never even broke a step and handled it like champs, they even stayed late until the job was done. (Who in NYC does that? Nobody, except ExpertTech! Faith in Humanity restored, am I Rite'?) Anyway, after setting up the speakers, they cleaned up and and walked me through the setup and how to use it. Then they left. And were it not for the moronic massive smile on my face when I cranked up some tunes and surfed for cat pics on the blazing fast Wireless (up from an average time of 30 Mbps to now around 240-300 Mpbs not even kidding, I almost shed a tear, when I later streamed a movie in full HD, in BED, something I had not been able to do before) I would have never even known they were there. Honestly, I cannot recommend them enough. This is one of those no brainers. Just go ahead and call them. Btw, the other company called two weeks after they installed everything, let's call them comapny FU Client, and they said they would be available a week after that.... so yeah... Don't even bother, just call ExperTech. I didn't regret it!!!
