Finally said give it back, they took 10 minutes rummaging around trying to figure out which one was mine (they failed to label!) and then handed me pieces in a bag, assured me it all was there. I was SOL, couldn't use it for trade-in worth $250 off a new phone. Also couldn't retrieve some content that would have been on the SIM card but wasn't on Google cloud. Shit-show company, has all the marks of a private-equity scam. Poor work processes, poor training, poor supervision, poor quality control, and they don't have to own a thing, just lease a shop.

The cellairis tech was able to inspect and install an adhesive strip to fix the trim piece and reaffix the rubber seal - all without charging me a dime. While he could not guarantee the fix would keep my phone watertight, it prevented dirt from entering and saved me several hundred dollars. Honest, resourceful and generous- thanks! He then told me the inside of the phone had been torn up, the graphite paper that keeps the phone cool was in several pieces and wasn't doing the job is was supposed to do. I tried many different possible solutions.... reinstalling mouse drivers, virus scans, reinstalling Windows, etc, etc. FRUSTRATING! I finally found Intellect Computer Service. I gave them a call and left a VM. John called me back within 30 minutes. He was very cheerful and asked what my problem was. I described my headache and the attempts I had made to solve it. He thought for a second, then from memory ( he was in his car) he patiently described how to drill down several windows to a particular setting. I would never have found this on my own and the setting had a name I would never have imagined. I did as instructed and rebooted my laptop. PRESTO! Problem solved! This call might have been 5 minutes long and he solved my dilemma on the fly for free. He longer has a brick & mortar store, but will make an appointment to come to your location.
