We were up and running with a working a/c that same night! Will also remembered some of our other ongoing needs, with another aging a/c on our house and issues with our duplex rental. Last summer, I was told I needed to replace my HVAC system before this summer because it uses R-22. Naturally, that was stressful and felt like a huge unexpected expense. When Will came out, he carefully inspected the system and then walked me through the facts. He explained that as long as the unit is working properly, there's no need to replace it just because it uses R-22. He also clarified that refrigerant doesn't need to be added unless there's a leak (contrary to what I had previously been told about it needing regular refills). At no point did he try to upsell me or pressure me into replacing something that still works. Instead, he focused on what was actually necessary and in my best interest. That level of integrity is rare and incredibly appreciated. It's clear he genuinely cares about his customers and values doing the right thing over making a quick sale. He was sooo diligent he replaced plastic caps with metal ones and mounted things and wires the had been left to hang. The issue we had been told by previous HVAC "pros" was going to need a whole new system and cost 6,000.
