I love this place and location. 33 sites with a small walk to the beach. The park is located down off of 101 and close to town. 30 and some 50 amp sites with full hookups including pretty good wi-fi great cable with some HBO. The sites are very quiet at night and all you here is waves crashing against the shore. read more

Hello! We just stayed for three nights here and it's awesome! Low key, older, but location is fantastic. Check in was easy and only about every other spot was full, we had an ocean view and within one minute were on the sand ! Restrooms and showers with hot water. It's old but it's fine! Yep, It's A-OK. Pros: Clean, simple and cute. Close to the beach. Little lighthouse to visit. Some spots are made for BIG rigs, some for smaller rv's. Free Wifi. Cons: First come first serve. No assigned spots, even if you made a reservation. Washing machine barely works and dryer just sucks your money and doesn't dry. Crazy lady lives there full time. What else is there to say? As long as people come keep coming and Ireland's makes money, I don't think things will change. read more

Gorgeous place we stayed here for 3 days during winter and we were basically the only ones there. We had a front row spot, and could hear the waves at night. Very quiet, and had a great stay. Amenities were closed due to covid, but we are self contained anyway, so not a big deal to us. Full hookups and had good WiFi. Mike, the owner is super friendly, and made us feel welcome to come back. Beautiful, diamond in the rough. read more

It's a great location....but every review I read about how poorly maintained the Park is has proved to be true. You would think after years of bad reviews on the disrepair that's Management might cut a weed or two - but no. Although cable is broken, the front desk keeps insisting it's working (it's not) and refuses to call maintenance to repair it. Stay away read more

The location is wonderful but everything else is NOT! The bathrooms are so gross and dirty. The only positive comment for the bathrooms are that there are barely any spider webs but it is really dirty. Toilets are nasty and showers too. read more

Vicious dogs running around with no leashes, and a long walk to the office make this place less than satisfactory. The raw sewage leaching into the soil near site 11 made it a nightmare. We are currently hiding in our camper to escape the sickening stench that blew in through the vents. It's disgusting. The showers are all part of the nightmare, with strings of long hair draped on the soggy walls and tiny transluscent curtains to hide yourself from fellow bathroom-users. In short, mean dogs will run around and chase you through stench-clouds of raw human sewage until you take to the 101 and flee, still unwashed. read more

When we pulled into Ireland's, we knew this was the place for us. First, we were never able to talk with anyone about reservations and later found out they had moved their check in to a nearby hotel. It worked out because when we arrived at Gold Beach, we saw the sign and decided to check it out first. The signage let us know that this is a first-come, first-served park. When we were driving into the park, the view if the ocean sealed the deal. Not to bad price wise, we chose our own site and got to sit in the beach as long as we wanted! The ONLY negative for both my husband and I would be the bathrooms. They really need a deep cleaning and in the two nights we were here, the trash in the ladies and mens room was never changed. Luckily, we have our own bathroom in our camper so it wasn't a deal breaker for us. read more

We love Gold Beach, and pass through as often as we can. This trip we decided to make it our destination, and we spent 5 days at Ireland's RV Park in a Class A RV. It's small, it's quaint, it's neat and clean, and it's a 1 minute walk to the beach. We enjoyed every minute here, and wish we had budgeted time for a longer stay. Downtown is a short walk, and if staying, a day trip on Jerry's Jet Boat trips up the Rouge River is a must. Also a walkable distance away. The sites are level. Power, water, and sewer were located right where they needed to be in relation to the wet bay in the motorhome. Nothing blocking the sat dish. There's a mixture of pull-through and back in sites. Most have good ocean views. Spots are first come-first serve. Show up early to snag the spot you want. We are already planning next year's trip up, and we'll be staying at Ireland's again. read more

Great location, full hook-ups and cute little place. Pulled in here on our trip up the 101 through Oregon. The check-in place was not onsite it was at a hotel less then a quarter mile away, which was a minor Inconvenience for checking in. Top spots and lower level spots makes for a great location and great views. Short walk to the beach for a good sunset or sunrise. We planned on staying one night and ended up staying two. Showers are a little older and weather, but fully function able for what you need. Didn't use the laundry area except for putting paint in there for other visitors to use for painting the rocks at the base of the lighthouse. Had a little problem with the "free wi-fi". Not quite the quality I am used to, it worked sometimes and then it just didn't the rest of the time. Little model lighthouse and the tradition of the painted rocks below is a pretty cool addition to the park. All hook-ups worked perfect and everything was just as needed for a few nights. There are some people who you could tell have been there for awhile but I don't blame them it is a great spot less then a 1/2 mile to the beach. Very cute place and the great location would make it a highly recommended place when traveling through or to Golds Beach. read more

The location was great. We stayed here about 5 years ago. This park has really gone down hill. First, most of the electrical and cable boxes are zip tied together or laying on the ground. The trash container was full and trash laying all over the place (ok, it was just after the July 4th weekend). We called the office because our cable didn't work, they said they would send maintenance over. We called back the next day and we were told that was the first they heard about it. Maintenance was short handed because one of them never showed up for work. We fixed it ourselves, thanks anyway. The ladies bathroom and shower was nasty. One shower stall looked like mold was climbing up the walls. The first time we were here, the landscaping was beautiful. Everything was clean and well cared for. Decided to try this hidden gem on our drive south along the Oregon coast. So glad we did. This cozy park has full hookups available. Mike came over to greet us as soon as we arrived and got us settled in. He went so far as to come in and set up our TV for us. Mike and his awesome customer service are such a welcome bonus. Super nice guy and very knowledgeable about the area. He would check in daily to see how everyone was doing. Even helped with someone's RV air unit and antenna when they hit a low entrance en route and broke it. The park has its own lighthouse that is available to climb up and watch the gorgeous sunsets. There is a short walk to a beautiful beach. Showers were closed due to Covid but we have our own so it was not an issue. We only planned on one night but stayed for three because it was so relaxing. I would definitely recommend a visit here and we will be back as well. read more

Had to check in at a motel down the road but otherwise all was easy. Would note that you can't actually see the ocean from the RV park due to dunes but it is just a very short walk to it. We were only stopping in for a night while traveling up the coast. We loved it so much we stayed three nights. Great access to the very windy Oregon beach. The park was clean and from our site six we could see the ocean. Did not use the shower facilities; can't comment. The park has been bought by Ireland's which own many of the adjacent motels and lodges. We found the park well kept and give it good recommendation. Good pull throughs and numerous spacious backins for those under 30 feet. Tables in every site. All sites are sunny but rimmed with low growing coastal pine like shrubs. Nice short walk through the sea grass to the beach. Best attribute of the park is the easy walk to multiple good restaurants. Spinners has a great high-end dinner menu and lounge. The Mangia Buff Italian restaurant is also a good selection too. Two cafes close by one appears to be a local favorite. read more

Beware..the photos on their website must have been taken a long time ago - it doesn't look like that now! This could be one of Oregon's most beautiful RV Parks if the owners just put a little time and money into it! However, as it stands right now, the only thing beautiful about it is the ocean, which is about a five minute walk away on fairly loose sand and overgrown foliage that could potentially be harmful to dogs. The picnic tables look like they could crumble if you sit on them, the hookups are rusty and falling apart, the grass at each site is all dead, the bathrooms are in need of updating, etc. As a result of the run-down look of the park, it attracts folks who may have a difficult time understanding the word "rules" or "courtesy". Expect off-leash dogs, lots of kids and noise. FYI - the entrance to the hotel where you check in only has a 9 foot clearance - find your spot, park and walk to the hotel. read more

Family has come here for years. Very close to ocean and stores. But tables falling apart and unsafe in three sites we've been in this year. Bathrooms NEVER CLEANED. Don't believe it when maintenance tells you it's because of homeless people. Irelands uses the same bathroom code for long periods of time. We used to laugh that it never changed. $40 per night because of convenience and proximity I guess. Office says they are supposed to clean bathrooms daily but I've reached my max on tolerating it. One time, a member of our party took bleach in and cleaned it herself. No excuses. I'm getting worried about using them. Yuck!!! read more

This place was fine with us and we would return. It's all a matter of what you are expecting. It is a super-basic setup with an oval of pads supported by a clean shower/restroom and very good beach access. It has no other real amenities and, in fact, the check-in place is back up on the highway down a couple hundred yards at a motel. That said, it is RIGHT on the beach (just behind some sand dunes) and right on the coast-side of Hwy 101. Because it's down a very small hill, with buildings between it and 101, we noticed no highway traffic noise at all. We could ride our bicycles around town because this RV Park is right on the southern end of town. read more

This park has a couple of good things going for it, it's a 2 min. walk to the beach and has restaurants within walking distance. The big negative is, it gets very little to no maintenance. The grounds aren't cared for, trash isn't emptied. It should be an embarrassment to the management staff or owner, I honestly think the campers do more to maintain the place then the staff. read more

We are here now June 26, 2013. It is an easy walk to the beach, there are drive throughs. There are restrooms, not clean enough, laundry room was dirty and machines had seen better days. Two front places looked like people were living there and had dogs that were not on leashes running around the park. My dogs were on leashes and one of their dogs came over to our spot and started fighting with my dogs.There is no one on site managing the RV park. I won't stay here again and we are out of here before our week is up. read more

We had a wonderful time at this little hidden gem! It's literally right on the beach! Folks were very friendly, quiet and peaceful. Very safe of kids to ride their bicycles around the little lighthouse. There were lots of kids there at our visit. Lots of amazing rocks to paint and leave around the lighthouse with "your story!" The Beach had amazing driftwood! Bathroom satisfactory. Laundry inexpensive. Very close to town. Definitely would go back! read more

My husband and I have been coming here for 7 years stayed a month last year. always had a good relationship with them until this year. We're retired close up our house in Bridgeport for The winter and come to Ireland's. We're snowbirds. Then came this years nightmare. Beautiful location, too bad it's so barely maintained. Front load washer, smells, raw sewage (out of space 24 ) would not have gotten as bad as it did if the maintenance man hadn't put the cap on, causing it to seep out of lower spots ( plumbers you might know what I mean) Yes eventually a roto ruter type plumber arrived, but if that was all it needed; how about going to a Home Depot and providing your maintenance people with the ability to fix it himself. A rude woman (she's also the one that checked us in) with her maintenance man body guard in tow came to our site and told us we had to leave now implying that we hadn't paid for the full week, And that they are only allowing one week stays. Really? Why didn't they tell us that when we paid for a second week??? When I tried to show her my receipts paid in full for the 14 days plus the receipt for 2 room for 3 days at The Gold Beach Inn (we spent over a $1000)she refused to even look at them or talk about it. Diamond in the rough. We loved that we could walk to the beach and that it was an easy walk to stores or restaurants. We commented amongst ourselves about the broken dryers for laundry and lack of vending machines. Then we left and went up the road to an RV Park on the south end of Bandon. We were scheduled to stay for 5 days, but the owner was so intent on giving you crap before you broke one of her rules, that we called Ireland's within a few hours and booked 3 more nights. They get 5 stars because they have a nice little park ON THE BEACH and don't mess with you. We will definitely return. read more

bathrooms are not kept up; laundry facilities are terrible - the dryer does not work; garbage overfull - dumpster was spilling over into the parking lot. To register guests need to walk a few blocks only to be treated like 2nd class citizens. Although the other guests were polite and friendly, the fact there was NO security, no staff to be found was uncomfortable. Gold Beach is a nice simple Oregon Coastal town. This place could ruin a great trip. The wonderful view and whale antics couldn't even save this evening's experience. Surprisingly expensive! I recommend you go north up the Coast or South to a State Park. Better yet - just pull over on the side of Hwy 101 and avoid the garbage dumpster and cost. read more

We have been staying at Irelands RV Park in Gold Beach Oregon since Friday July 1st, and this RV Park claims to be Sam's Club and AAA approved RV Campground to promote their organization. Here is the reality. The women's "shower house" and bathroom which is totally gross. There is black mold growing on the walls, the paint is gone off the cinder blocks, it hasn't been cleaned in ions, there is someone's hair all over both of the floor mats, and the handle to adjust the water will not stay on in the handicapped stall. The toilets were not cleaned all weekend, and there is feces on the toilet seat, which had been there since Friday of last week. We are parked next to a 40'something year old couple who are in space 28 who have 2 German Shepard dogs that are extremely adjusted and volatile. The people left camp early this morning and we got to listen to the 2 dogs bark the entire day from inside of their motorhome. The guy in space 27 has a Doberman that has carried the barking tune when the Shepard's were actually quiet which re-activated the Shepard's to start barking again. It was so bad that Saturday night after the RV Park's office closed I had to call the Sheriff to come out and make the dogs stop barking. All of the other dogs in the park were well behaved. It was just these 3 who ruined our entire weekend. I repeatedly called the RV Office to complain and they heard my concerns, but did not do anything to correct it or offer to help us out in any way except tell me to call the Sheriff if it was after 10:00pm. The Park's main garage container has not been emptied all weekend and trash is accumulating on the ground. I fail to believe that this RV Campground meets AAA or Sam's Club standards for an approved Campground. If this park represented AAA or Sam's Club approved RV Campgrounds, we will never stay at another one. read more

We did not have quite as bad a time as Helen. However the laundry room is obviously not cared for. They are down to ONE washer which was probably here 20 years ago when we first began coming to this park. This use to be one of our favorite parks but since its purchase by the Gold Beach Motel it's been treated like the ugly step child with little maintenance or oversight. Evidence of the "step-child", rotten boards on the tables have been replaced but severely weathered board have not, old, barely usable electrical hookups with most only 30 amp, minimal landscape maintenance, sites are small and cable TV has a weak signal due to poor wiring/connections, This is not a cheap park to camp so apparently RV park revenue is used to subsidize other operations. Having said all this, if you are looking for a semi-protected parking area near the ocean with only a short walk to the beach, then this is your park. We were at the top of the hill in space 4 so no sewage or vicious dogs for us. read more

Our experience here is nothing like Helen's. We just needed a one-night stay in order to get some rest. We pulled in at 8:50p. The front desk of the hotel closes at 9:00p. Needless to say, we circled once to find a spot, parked, and then I ran the 1/4 mile to the hotel to check in. As with all other sub-par RV parks, they charged me for my little blessings (kids). Why parks do this is beyond me, the kids stay in the coach, it's not like we need a separate room for them. At any rate, once I ran back, I hooked up power and water... both were very easy. I hooked up cable, but I got better reception from my antenna than what was coming in on the cable. Lastly, it took me several minutes to locate the dump. It was not near the power and water stand, as it is in most parks. It was 22 feet away from the power stand. While I am thinking about it, if you have a slide out, you will hit the power stand (not from personal experience, but our stand was leaning back). Our spot (18) was very near the restrooms. They left alot to be desired. We used their toilets, but not their showers, they were disgusting looking. We used our own shower in the coach. We also used their laundry facility. There were 2 washers and 1 dryer. WTH??? The washer (20 yrs old+) actually cleaned all the clothes and rather quickly, but it needed to dryer cycles to dry the clothes. We went up in their little lighthouse, which was a cool factor for the kids, and we hit the beach the following morning, but after that, we were gone. Will we be back? No. Would I recommend this park to anyone? Only if you have business in Gold Beach. If you're an over-nighter go find an industrial park or RV repair center in town and park there. JMO. read more

For 8 years we have been regular visitors to Gold Beach 6-8 times a year and stay at the Ireland's RV Park. We drive 7 hours to arrive there, staying usually for 6-7 days at all holidays come rain or shine in the winter or summer months. Yes, we were there this past Christmas in the cold rain and wind. Often we have been the only ones there at that time or at most we are maybe 1 of 2 others that are staying there as well. Over all these years we have met some of the most pleasant visitors staying there and made friends with them. When we went in April this year, the Irelands RV Park was still the most delightful place to visit, however on our visits over Memorial Day and 4th of July we could see that things were changing drastically. Both of these holidays there were a large group of people staying in a small travel trailer and it was apparent that all them were living there with some of them sleeping in pickups at night as they parked in other RV sites with often folks having to tell them to move out of their camping sites. Cars came by frequently for a few minutes and it was clear to all of us nearby that they were selling drugs. There were adult men urinating outdoors next to their trailer at all times of the day. During the 4th of July visit, they additionally had 3-5 children preteen children that spent much of their day in the lighthouse at the end of the park. It was plain to see that they were drinking, smoking, and were so loud that the folks staying near the lighthouse had to call the police more than once. In fact, the police were there several times that week. In all the times we have stayed there we had never seen the police needing to respond to calls there. The front office had to come down and check everybody's camping sites to prove we were in our paid sites as it was apparent that some of these folks and a couple others were changing sites to often to avoid paying. We decided to give Irelands opportunity to rid the park of these folks and didn't complain as we knew that others were upset and would probably inform the front office. After our 4th of July visit, we called the Ireland's informing them of the increasingly deplorable situation. The lady we spoke with said she was aware of the situation and they were working on evicting these people. We told her we wanted to make reservations for the remaining 4 holidays, but we couldn't until we knew it was safe to return. We called again a couple of days later and was assured that it was being taken care of. Believing that they were telling the truth, we decided to call today to make 24 days of reservations for 4 stays the remainder of the year. When we asked if the above folks were still there, the phone was handed to another woman who told us "thanks for informing us but that does not reflect the park." We told her that yes it does to those of us that are staying there as we had great fear of them. Several of us were afraid to leave our rigs unattended and kept constant watch day and night (besides who wants to see dirty drugged men urinating in front of you). She again said "thanks for informing us but that does not reflect the park". In fact, we heard her say this several times in this phone call. Again we asked if they had evicted these folks. She would not answer us but did say "I don't like drugs and thats why I'm voting for Trump". We were shocked and told her that this was a safetly issue and nothing to do with politics. She then phone unattended and it eventually hung up. Its a given that when campers work, save their money, and drive long distances to visit the beautiful Gold beach that they don't want to feel unsafe at their camp site. The residents of Gold Beach should have concern that nonworking drugged men are selling drugs and bringing crime to their wonderful little town. Folks like us and our friends spend our money there at the gas stations, restaurants, shops, etc. and this helps the local economy. For years we have considered retiring in Gold Beach, but now we fear that it will not be safe enough. Please Gold Beach, listen to us and take care of this or you will see less and less visitors. That would be a shame and a great loss to you and those us of that dearly love Gold Beach! RVer's don't stay here! Its no longer worthy of Good Sam or AAA rating!! read more
