The store in Deptford is a joke. They have a manager named Mario who is extremely obnoxious. I was…read moreshopping in there one day and I heard him make a comment to a female under age employee that was so explicit! I asked him to help me find something in the store and he knew where nothing was at, but he was the general manager of the store!

As always, I heart Forman Mills!…read more Boys sports team logo tees, and Gildan lounge wear is what I was after. I've been tie-dyeing stuff for my son, and they had tees in all colors and sizes for $0.50 each!!! I had trouble finding toddler sizes, but I was able to find plenty of boys' sizes from XXS on up. This store is like a maze. It's in an older building. When you first enter, there's a huge warehouse room of men's and ladies' with some juniors, and shoes, then to the room on the left is where cashiers are, along with accessories, some housewares, and luggage. It's like a maze, but you have to keep weaving around and head to the back, which wraps behind where the original room was, and it's yet another warehouse room of kids' clothes and kid school uniform clothes. The place is GIGANTIC, just take your time to navigate through it. If you wonder, "can I keep going back there?" Yes, you can. As usual, my armload (and this time it was a painfully heavy one) was under $20!!!!! The two women in line in front of me were jumping up and down like they won the lottery because they got such good deals. Ha ha! It's like a gameshow. I love it! Staff were friendly and helpful. The cashier was laughing at the women in front of me, and me, because we were all like little girls about our bargains!

I wanted to surprise my very busy boss of a wife with some last minute options for our most recent…read moretrip to Mexico. I was super intimidated being a guy going into a women's clothing store but Daria the owner made me feel welcome and told me not to worry because she was there to help. She literally took a look at my wife's Instagram page to get an understanding of her style and guided me (I'm clueless) about pieces that made sense. I ended up picking out @10 total and my wife loved everything. 3 pieces ran too big and my wife had no issues swapping them for a smaller size with no issues and loved her experience with Daria also. We will be back!

Can a store get any cuter?!…read more First stumbled upon TBB last winter during an abnormally warm day in March. Walked in, and immediately felt happier! Full of fun spring styles that you just can't get at a fast fashion mall type of place. You can tell so much thought, time and passion goes into the design and pieces picked. Fast forward to now that I live in the area again, and I have curated a cute collection of jewelry as well as added to my wardrobe a bit. The prices are so fair and it's just a highlight to my day when I find a gem from here! I've also had the chance to meet and work with the owner Daria. I loved the place that much that I reached out to see if I could help in any capacity. The owner is sweet and she really puts so much effort into her space and products, and it shows when loyal customers come in time and again. So screw the mall and head to The Boutique Bar, you'll feel so much better.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed Greene Street! I've been consigning my clothing, bags and…read moreaccessories with them for years and have always been pretty happy with my experiences. Their employees are very friendly and the location on South Street always looks nice. Greene Street has changed their consignment model a couple times over the years. Recently, they've reverted to their former model which is when they email a contract within a couple weeks of the drop-off. The contract lists each item they plan to re-sell and the price. After the consignment window (45 days, reduced from the previous 60), you receive a payment for any items that were sold, minus a $4.99 handling fee. The payment is a percentage of the sale price, which fluctuates depending on the value of the item. Anything they don't want to put on the floor and anything that doesn't sell in that 45 day window can be donated, unless you want to pay a fee to pick up the unsold items. It sounds complicated but really, it's a great service. I don't like holding onto things I don't need or no longer wear so this gives me an opportunity to clean out my closet a couple times a year while making a few bucks in the process (for me, typically anywhere from $50 to occasionally $100+ for each haul). I also love that they simply donate items that they decide not to sell. Wins all around!
